Yeah, this should definitely be a series. However, this was just Jordans perspective they should include short series on other teammates like 2 episodes or so. Jordan was on another level in so many ways his perspective may not be the same as others. In the future they should do a series on these hall of famers in any sport and just do a documentary on them. Example, pick barry bond during the homerun chase year. Patrick Ewing, Barkley, Barry Sanders etc..

I get the argument being made on this one but it’s not a fully fair one. It’s true to an extent that LeBron had not been the barrier to other stars getting a ring to the level that MJ was but at the same time it’s a different league and players move and join teams to chase rings in an entirely different way than ever occurred during MJs time. During this era of the game the thought of a team having a Big 3 wasn’t really a thing like it is in today’s time. Teams were actually built over time and seeing a team that was close to winning a title being able to just go and grab another star to be able to just win a ring like we see today didn’t exist because players at the time were rare to ever see free agency and have the choice of where they went to build a team like we see today. We can’t guarantee that if during the days of MJ players could do what they do now that he’d have been able to keep so many guys from ever getting their rings. But even if we were to ignore all of that people would also need to focus on the fact that when people say that MJ kept people from winning rings that were comparing a 13 or so year career in Chicago to LeBron who is now in year 21. So if we wanted to make a real comparison people should look at the first 13 years and then decide how many new rings happened because of LeBron and also factor in that there were 7 seasons that MJ wasn’t stopping anybody from getting rings. So if you compared the same years and gave LeBron the seven year intro pass since MJ didn’t win any rings those seven, then the Mavs got new rings and the warriors got a new ring. The spurs obv won one but they’d already had rings. But if it was 13 to 13 of the first years, it’s not nearly the disparity people want it to be because LeBron won three rings in the six that followed. But people have their minds made up on that so it’s a bit futile realistically.

Even if it's true, why should the public be informed about it? It's on his conscience and he would answer for that eventually. It's his business with his family. The public has no stake in it. He's just a celebrity, not someone whose life should matter to the public. It's not as if he's getting taxpayers money and therefore he owes the public the truth.

We could have have used journalists asking hard questions to public officials for a long time now instead of the softball questions. I know Jordan isn't public figure, but he has his hands in enough stuff, many of which profit off of slave labor in the east, so I like hard questions. But I do agree with your point.
