How long does No Contact take to work? Is there a point when it works against you? When is it time to stop no contact and risk reaching out? The anxiety of waiting during no contact and watching the calendar as you count down from the 30, 45, or 60 days of no contact can trigger spikes in anxiety and start to make you second guess the approach all together. "My ex is too stubborn" or "No contact might work for other people but my ex doesn't change their mind once they move on from someone!" are two of the most popular fears people face when doing no contact. Once you've been in no contact long for weeks or even months it's natural to start overanalyzing every detail and surprisingly you can even sink deeper into anxiety and depression instead of feeling stronger as you may have anticipated. This video is for those people in no contact trying to determine if they should risk reaching out and how to stay strong if they want to stay in no contact but are feeling tempted to risk it and reach out to their ex.
Even if the point of no contact in many ways is proving to them that you're strong enough to live without them, focusing on them is natural and sometimes during no contact it can even be the cause of becoming more fixated on your ex. Are they noticing? Are they dating someone else? Are they showing any signs of missing you yet or are they still in the relief stage? These are all very normal questions that can be magnified if your ex has started dating someone else.
Centering your attention on yourself and bettering your life and reminding yourself of the things that made you and still make you attractive to others can be a challenge while you're attention is being commanded by monitoring what your ex is doing and if they show any signs of missing you.
