I lost my mucus plug while having somewhat mild contractions and ended up birthing my son 3 hours later. So although statistically you may not deliver soon, trust your body. If it feels like it's time to go, just go.

Dani Marie my niece was born five weeks early, on the toilet in their apartment because my ex sil listened to her Dr and not her body. He told her it was definitely not labor and to lay down and drink water. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Two pushes, and baby was there. Fire truck came minutes later. And one of the responders helped her birth the placenta because she refused to leave until it was done lol.

For my first birth, when my mucous plug came out, labor literally hit me right after. Pay attention to frequency and intensity of contractions... best of luck!

Lol 2 weeks after the mucous plug comes out you'll be in labor... lol In my experience my mucus plug came out and went to the ER and found out I was 8.5cm dialated with back to back contractions that I didnt notice. Nurse said if I went to sleep like I wanted I would have woke up with a baby between my legs. Which makes sense since I slept until the nurses woke me up to start pushing.

Dude I slept through my labor too 😂 I was induced, and didn’t feel anything and when the nurse came to check me at the end of the night before shift switch, she was like. You gotta start pushing before the baby just falls out 😂😂

I watched this when I lost my mucus plug at 37 weeks and listened to her and didn’t rush to the hospital. 2.5 hours later barely made it to the hospital and gave birth five minutes after arrival. Just know it could mean it’s about to go down…literally. Listen to your body!!!

Lost mucus plug ,called doctor , called ambulance, had baby boy 3 1/2 hours later...@34 weeks and 3 days...surprise!!! I am the abnormal, does nothing normal or the way it’s suppose to, my daughter (my first baby) 10 freaking minutes from being induced to delivery... my next child is just going to fall out!

With MY experience, my mucus plug coming out with a string of blood means I’m in labor . I’ve had it with all 3 of my kids . That’s how I knew I was in labor and when I would go I was 7-8 cm dilated . So I go into labor pretty last after losing my mucus plug but that’s me !

Im 36 weeks today with my 4th child. My baby dropped a few days ago and I felt that burst of energy but nowww I get up and I feel so much pressure on my pelvis like if I had a bowling ball down there. Lol. Last time I was pregnant was like 5 yrs ago so its nice to refresh on this info. Loved the way you explained things, and fun to watch!

My contractions never became regular. I was in pre-labor for more than 50 hours - no water, no food, unable to move or stand and even sit. Would be suspended in sitting positions for hours at a time, terrified to move from the incredible pain of irregular contractions. Had them every 15 minutes - 3 minutes - 7 minutes - 20 minutes - 8 minutes - 25 minutes and on and on, for more than 50 hours. Midwife kept telling me it was just Braxton Hicks because they were irregular, while I was screaming at the top of my lungs from the pain --- there's no way they were just Braxton Hicks. 24 hours before I had my plug removed, waters broken and finally induced, I had started to vomit blood and feel very lethargic from food, water and sleep deprivation. These incredibly painful "Braxton Hicks" contractions that were irregular and making me scream from the worst pain I've ever felt started on August 11. On August 14, after battling with the excruciating pain for almost 3 entire days non-stop, I ended up in the emergency where I was vomiting blood on the floor and on nurses, and was eventually induced to get the torture over with. 3 hours later, I had my son at 39 weeks and 3 days weighing 6 pounds and 11 ounces. I was only 1cm dilated while having incredibly painful "irregular Braxton Hicks" contractions. Braxton Hicks contractions are not always painless - sometimes they're incredibly painful to the point of making you dizzy with pain. And just because your contractions are irregular, doesn't necessarily mean that they're just Braxton Hicks. Should we go by the severity of the pain to determine which type of contractions we are really having or by their regularity?

Thank you dear for making this video. I am having Braxton Hicks Contractions at 40 weeks and 4 days. They feel like severe menstrual cramps. They surge extreme for a few seconds, then go away. No pattern. Sometimes they hurt, sometimes they are manageable. Taking deep breaths and changing position or walking for a while, really helps. I was super confused, but now I know what's going on. Thank you once again

I remember telling my doctor I lost my mucous plug because I had snot like stuff in my tissue. My female doctor gave me a look of extreme annoyance and told me “No I highly doubt that.” A few days later I was in labour. I have that same doctor this time around and she wouldn’t listen to me about my morning sickness either. It was so extreme. Finally a separate MALE doctor took me seriously and prescribed me dilectin (think that’s how you spell it) because his wife had similar symptoms to my own. I find my female doctor has more of the attitude of “Suck it up.” While my male doctor is like “You poor thing.” 😂😂

I agree. I am pregnant with my first and had a female doctor. I got a guy feeling that she just wasn't good plus her attitude made me want to punch her. So I yelped her name and saw 6 reviews... Only 1 was a five star. The rest were confirming my fear and original gut feeling. She was very rude to previous couples and didn't respect their concerns. And she was very judgmental. I changed to my original OB which was a male.

Haha omg. "It looks like glue" YES IT DOES! I passed my mucus plug with my first kid and it was like someone had warmed up a glue stick just a bit and that's what fell out of me. It wasn't thin at all, it wasn't super soft... it was more solid than that. Before that, I had heard of "the mucus plug" in passing, but didn't expect it to very much actually look like a PLUG of mucus. The moment I saw it, I knew that's what it was. It was unmistakable.

I'm a nurse and worked a little in L&D. But I'm also a male. So I never know how it feels. My wife is in her late third trimester and I felt she was having Braxton Hicks. But all of years of experience sometimes goes out the window and my PNS starts kicking in. Thank you so much for this. It helps bring things in order a little bit for me/us. :)

I lost my mucus plus at 39 weeks and 3 days at 10:45 pm and that whole night I had contractions and the whole day the next day. I went to the hospital at 4 in the afternoon and when they checked me I was at 4 cm and then 2 hrs later I was 7 cm and then 1 hr later I had my baby in my arms lol. Everyone was telling me wow so fast because I didnt even last in labor 12 hrs because my contractions started at 10:50 pm Feb 28,2019 and my baby was born March 1, 2019 at 8:30pm

33+5 today! At 33 weeks I had the worst Braxton hicks pains! Honestly thought I was in labour! It hit me like a ton of bricks, very low deep pains, but then after about 20 - 25 mins they got less and less painful. Thank god! But all of that day my lower back and lower abdomen were aching like crazy! 😅😅 ... stay in there a bit longer my baby boy!

33 weeks today, and I was totalling PMSing the past couple days. Like, literally the smallest things had me getting so annoyed. Thank you for this video :) So many weird things happen with our bodies during pregnancy, and sometimes it's hard to know what to be concerned about and what's just normal pregnancy stuff. I'll tell you what though, pregnancy has taught me to become very in tune with my body and also with my baby.

I remember the first two times I went to the hospital for early contractions. I was actually at my OB appointment and she was all, "you're really tight," (why thank you 😂😂😂😂), but of course she was talking about my belly. I was like, "really??? I just thought I ran out of room." Her response, "uhmmmm... No, I think you're having contractions, you need to go across the street to the hospital." Ughhh... Really. Well, maybe this means I won't have terrible contractions and I'll have an awesome labor!!! VERY WISHFUL THINKING!!! So this happened twice and they actually had to give me some shot that would stop labor. It was terrible. They didn't tell me that it had the opposite reaction of calming smoothe muscle and in turn gives you crazy rapid heartbeat. Well that's just freaking awesome when you already have anxiety and are terrified of losing your baby after two miscarriages, and severe H.G. So then they capped it off with some crazy sleeping pill. Don't know what it was, but OH MY GOODNESS, it knocked me on my butt. My Mom literally left me at her house to take my ex to go and get my car from the hospital and when they came back I was passed out on the couch with French fries still in my hand. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Om Nom Nom !!!!

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and am so over being pregnant. I've been trying so hard to naturally induce my labor but my baby seriously does not want to come. I didn't go through really a nesting phase lol it was more like my partner did. My baby is measuring 8lbs already and I hope she isn't planning on waiting 2 weeks more and comes out a giant. I've been having serious leg, back and pelvic pains on and off but nothing I can't take. Hoping she comes in a day or two . Thank you for your video!

I just gavebirth 5 days ago, I was so uncomfortable at that stage. I brought on labor by cleaning the whole house, food shopping and getting my nails done in the same day lol. I was due to be induced and the day before I was just on a mission to get everything done next thing you know I sit down after my day of running around and the contractions started and came fast. I showed up at the hospital 5 cm dilated!

My due date is in 26 days and I haven't been put into birthing classes or anything, so I'm binge watching childbirth videos, when to go to the hospital, when not to go to the hospital, postpartum videos and all those fun things. Simply because I get to do this as a single parent, he's going to be my first child and I'm excited and terrified at the same time.

Im 36-37 weeks pregnant and all my relatives lose their patience for my baby coming out :-) This video really help and enjoy to watch.. i jave that mucuos plug last wk.. so maybe after this wk i will deliver my baby. So excited!!!

My mucus plug were green and came out over a period of time, and I'm perfectly healthy. It also says online that it can be green too.

Mine came out into my obs hand during a cervical check and it was green as well, she didnt say anything negative 🤷

I lost my mucous plug at 39 weeks and had my baby the same day. I had no idea I could've/should've been pregnant for about two more weeks, God bless me lol

Had my baby on the 12th of September mucus plug came out at 10:50 made it to the hospital at 11:20 gave birth by 11:42 first child contractions kicked my ass completely

AriisWorld I had an ultrasound yesterday and they told me that my baby has dropped my midwife also checked me and i'm 1cm dilated at 33 weeks.

I’m 38 weeks today. It was not a good one today. I started seeing for the first time my mucus plug and I been feeling funny, I had a headache and feeling a little nauseated and gassy and trying to poop a lot. Idk mayb I’ll be in active labor soon

I am 38+1 today on Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day!! 💐 At 2am I woke up to pee and noticed pinkish watery "discharge" for the first time this pregnancy with some light cramping so I messaged my doula and went back to sleep. I woke up at 5:30am and went to pee again and wiped gelatinous bits with bloody streaks so definitely my MP slowly coming out. I have been noticing increased headaches, heartburn and I'm so gassy! I'm due May 25th... watching so many videos trying to figure out if he's coming today, this week or in up to 2 weeks 😂🤷‍♀️
