Pastor Craig l know all to well of all the abuse l suffered for 20yrs in my marriage, yes l divorced him in 1996 because of the sexual abuse that was exposed by my daughter, for by the GRACE AND MERCY OF MY SAVIOR I HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY HEALED AND WAS ABLE TO FORGIVE THAT PERSON JUST A FEW YEARS AGO ,VERT LONG PROCESS BUT MY SAVIOR GETS THE GLORY AMEN
I never had any problem with forgiveness; I even pray for those that hurt me spiritually, emotionally, physically and for being betrayed by those that claim to love me, husband, brothers and sisters in Christ. I can bless them all, but I don't trust anyone, I have no hopes of a better life. I'm not a victim and I don't play that card either. I just hate this world, this life, all the sufferings everywhere and I find Jesus' life and sufferings soooooo cruel.
Need help for past hurts and hurtful , pray for deliverance for paralyzing fear ,depression ,oppressive thoughts , panic attacks , breakdowns, need peace of mind been going through this for years

I can't thank you enough for speaking on this topic. A friend was asked to share her testimony before her church of recovering from rape, only she wasn't allowed to talk about the rape, only that a friend had hurt her & she forgave them. I left an emotionally abusive relationship about 4 years ago. Sometimes I'm invalidated as there was no physical threat or injury. Every moment of every day for those years I've been tormented. As a child I watched loved ones go through emotional abuse & wondered why I was tormented & scarred by it. It's horrific. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I'm beginning to finally want to heal & break free. When I tried to forgive the pain never went away. The bitterness & anger never went away. I needed to hear this today. It's time to start healing. Many family members have suffered abuse & never healed. I want the legacy of hurt & dysfunction to end with me. Keep preaching the truth & the hard things. I've been so blessed to come across your channel. 🧡
My hatred with this one person, particularly a certain race, is what is costing my relationship with Christ right now, as I attempt to grow closer with Christ. I wish I find healing in this aspect of my life, so that I could securely have the joy and boldness when I see God one day!
Wish more church pastors would watch this. My old church pastor and leadership made me feel broken and shoved me out. They made me feel crazy and were very exclusive. They told me I was not equipped to lead the ministries I started and took them away from me all while saying, "You are welcome here." Stayed for three years thinking I was the problem while my faith and soul was dying. Attending that church was another form of abuse.

Healing always begins with Forgiveness. And we may not have the ability to forgive. But what is important is to understand why we forgive and allow yourself to forgive your abuser. Many times, evil manifests in the presence of unforgiveness. But what we need to do then is admit that we need God, we need Jesus to help and strengthen us to forgive, instead of trying to forgive by our own means. Because that simply will not work. But we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

I've been struggling for 2 years to move on from a broken heart caused by someone who I thought cared for me, but who said so many hurtful and judgemental things; been trying to understand why he treated me so and why he never felt bad for saying such hurtful things. This hit my heart listening to the podcast Sunday afternoon. My partner had revealed the truth he saw about my parents bring up. After many nights in prayer, the truth is that he was correct. The truth being hard to swallow. That it was abuse. "What is normal is not normal" And what became normal to me I didn't recognize as abuse. I am in the midle of dealing with emotional abuse, from my mother and father. My parents denying the truth. Bringing on the burden to me. Telling me that its a lie. Making me feel guilty. I sometimes am confused and hurt. It is a lot harder when it's abuse with your parents, because we are to honor our father and mother. We had brought that along with the pastors of the church. This was a serious matter. My mother is in a role of leadership. And it can effect her role as. aleader with the children ministry. The leaders at the church had done nothing regarding the issue. Taking a step back from living at home, I moved out to protect my emotional and spiritual health. This is difficult. Needing action needs to be taken. I have been in contact with leadership from another church to help in healing and what actions should be taken. Prayer request on my end. Pray that the situation settles. That God heals any broken relationships. It hurts me to see that people are still living in sin even when they've been told about theier sinful nature. I pray that anyone facing similar issues of abuse that they are able to heal from their past, and current pain of the abuse. It is not your fault, something I have had to learn. You are not to blame for your abuse. It is the sinner. God I pray for healing for the victims, and I pray for the sinners to come to realize the pain they caused upon the victims. And I pray that they come to repent and learn that the way they treated others is not a way our heavenly father intended for his people to live. That I pray that even the abusers come to know Christ's love. And that the victims come to learn the fathers forgiveness, mercy and grace towards the abuser. For forgiveness does not excuse what has happened. It means that your giving your trauma to God rather than handling it on your own. Thank you pastor craig for bringing this in. This has been on my heart for the past couple months. And God has shown me the truth. Even when it's hard. Please take careful considered procedures when dealing with abuse. Don't deal with it on your own. Bring trusted people from your circle to help you. God does not want you to live with those who are wanting to harm you. He wants you to live in freedom, and in His love. Surround yourself to people who are strong with the Lord, who can pray for you and be there for you when you fall. Thank you again Pastor Craig. This is a much needed matter to be discussed within the churches.

I've recently come out of an emotionally and mentally abusive relationship with a narcissist that only ended because I found out he was having a sexual affair with a coworker. The mental toll that takes is something that's truly hard to explain and so is how you can physically feel the hurt. I've so desperately been trying to connect with God in hopes that he will hear my pleas and heal my hurt. I get it doesnt "work" that way. But I've been burying myself in sermons, and so many talk about the mindset towards healing and forgiveness with no guidance as to what that actually looks like, or ever specifically addressing trauma, emotional and psychological abuse. While I still feel this agony I am thankful that I found these sermons that specifically talk about these things and offer tangible steps you can take in your healing journey that can help alleviate the hurt. Like Craig, I didn't realize that my growing up was abusive. Mentally not physically. I followed that path. I realized 3yrs ago. I started praying the gifts of the spirit. It is not easy, you have to be diligent at all times. But yes I have changed. Thank you for this lesson.

I had years of verbal curses stuck in my head 24/7 that my husband spoke to me, I became so desperate for freedom from the torment in my mind!!! I spent hours every day in my bath tub begging God to heal me. Then on Dec 18th, 2020 I had a deliverance and IMMEDIATELY the words were ALL gone!!! I forgive very quickly now and pray for his deliverance too...FREEDOM IS OURS THROUGH CHRIST 🙌 🙌 😅 🙌

When GOD was with Israel in its earlier years they kept serving idols but went to GOD when they needed help this went on for so long centeraies even that GOD would forgive them and bring them up only for them to betray HIM again. His forgiveness surpasses our understanding if a friend were to do that to us we’d give them 2 chances and their done but GOD forgave so much because of HIS love and I find that so beautiful. Let’s be more like HIM and forgive just like pastor Craig said.
A few years ago I have been psychologically abused by my bosses and coworkers..... I am still trying to understand the reasons behind those behaviors, even though I have some problems with thinking correctly. Because of this a deep seated resentment for humanity rised within me, and I am almost all the time alone. I don't know what to do.... I try to find the force each day to live as a normal functioning person even though the things that people have done on me.
God is the immensity of spirit! The more you recognize with the depths of Jesus the more majesty! Healing power infused stardom. Interesting is trust. Glory is trust. Love is majesty in trust!
How does one forgive when you have to be living with and around those abuse me and does it repeatedly and claims they are Christians and I watch God bless there wickedness and I am here loosing my mind and isolated. Nobody I share with provide any safe place, I pray and request prayers I don't even know if they actually prayed but nothing changes it gets worst.

I am so sorry Tessa. If you are a Christian I believe you are empowered to deal with it for now. Pray for power to keep on forgiving and serving there people Please prepare and pray for God to open a door for you to leave that environment and heal
@@PoSHEmediaglobal that's the thing I been praying nothing happens the longer I am I'm this the more it's eating away at my mental health. 😩 everytime I think I have gotten away I end up been further mistreated there is no help than persons preying on my vulnerability and I end back right here and the treatment gets worst I don't see any out

I think I lost my bestfriend the other night, somebody made me mad and I took it out on her, because i thought it was her, and ever since I went off on her ive been thinking about every single word I said to her, I kept making excuses at first but now I realize i was in the wrong, thats no way to talk to somebody who loves you, father can you please help me get my bestfriend back, she means everything to me and its not the same without her :(

I'm so proud to have 90 days of healing my overeating issues which began as a result of sexual trauma. I'm a leader in my church's Restoration and Recovery ministry helping lead other women to freedom from their past through Jesus. AMEN. Thank you for preaching on this issue.

I'm always commenting on these but listening to these videos, makes me realize that my relationship w/ God or lack there of was based on my relationships with humans. My parents, former friends, supervisors. I screwed up/made a mistake therefore I'm not truly forgiven nor can I truly redeem myself. So when I hear the truth about God's love, peace, care, forgiveness, grace, etc. it's hard for me to grasp, mentally and spiritually I guess. I struggle with autism and bipolar disorder and I add the harshness of people in my life mixed with my anxious and fearful thoughts, I feel like it's almost impossible to get to closer to God. Deep down I've felt this way for most of my life. It hurts and I suffer through alone because I don't want to burden anyone more than I have. I made mistakes even today that upset family members because of past errors. I cope with junk food (my addiction) and I want to things that get me out of reality even for one whole night. I'm on here because I have no other humans to confide in or that I feel safe to. So I'm on youtube. 🤦🏽♀️Thank God for cats at least. 🐈🐈⬛️

Please pray for me. I suffer from Anxiety and Panics Attacks. They have been getting worse everyday. It’s hard to eat, move, sit down, etc. I feel like there’s nothing else I can do. I pray and pray but my anxiety still gets in the way. I miss being able to enjoy a meal in peace. As soon as I take a bite of food, my head gets full of toxic thoughts and it makes it difficult for me to eat. Please whoever reads this, pray for me. I need your help🙏🏽
