The courtyard could be fantastic but sitting on concrete takes away the character. I’d much rather see some vines and amazing flowers or fruit trees growing. Stone and wood flooring would have given this so much more character. An exterior kitchen with a BBQ and pizza/bread oven with a great outdoor fire-pit would transform this into a feature. It’s the size of property that needs geothermal heating and if possible by utilising water power to create the power behind the geothermal unit all the electricity would be free forever. Any springs on the property? Water is a must for the future. This house has been on the market for some time now and when this happens you begin to wonder why. Nationally house prices are dropping by huge amounts. Any home that can provide the owner with additional income will be amongst the most desirable properties going forward. If it’s still available when I come over I’d definitely like to see this one for myself. Have a wonderful weekend Brad and family 👻💕💫

You have perked my curiosity with this one Brad. Not knowing the area where this is located I obviously need to come over and see it myself. I’m interested because of the space it has to offer and, although it’s not on a huge plot it’s enough for our needs. I love the walnut trees which will attract the red squirrels 🐿 I’m taking a great interest in house prices in the areas that interest me and I’m seeing the start of the recession and it’s affect on prices. So many people assume that houses just go up in value and are safe. Not so my friend as I’m sure you know. Over the next year or two we are going to see houses drop in value and repossessions will go up ⬆️ Whilst it’s going to be a long overdue correction there is always exceptions if you are a cash buyer. Thank you for the great tour and I’ll take a look at Ken’s latest email to find out more. Your thoughts on property prices will be greatly appreciated. Hopefully you set your parking break. Or we might be watching RV or National Lampoons. lol I have to agree with your title. We just recently started our first journey into home ownership. There is a rumor ( I don't have the means to substantiate this.) that a company/s(no names) are buying properties. Taking advantage of the inflation situation. They will look at houses being looked at. Come in buy a bunch. As a big company they can buy with cash. They will buy like 5 or 6 below the original asking. Then buy one of the 5 or 6 at just above the market value. Then turn around and sell the others at a higher rate. When we were looking at houses it seemed within a day, sometimes hours of having looked at a property it was under contract. A year ago there was a lot of homes under 100k where I am from. Now absolutely none.

Criticisms of this property are nitpicking. It's nicer than 99.999999999 percent of the people in the world live in. It's fit for King Charles or an African dictator. And Brad is the funniest, most informative guy in real estate. I like how he pointed out the window units upstairs and explained how the HVAC and other systems work.

You have to maintain a metal roof every 6-7 years. The bolts have neoprene washers, but they are amazing roofs. Very expensive!

Hi John McCall, good comment! now if you chose a water shedding roof - you are correct, you need to check on the screws. However, if you choose a water PROOF roof.... this is #1 Standing and #2 Copper. No maintenance. This is a lifetime roof. And not to be argumentative, but a metal roof is MUCH less expensive = 1 standing seam metal roof is equivalent to 20 shingle roofs. @@BradSimmons Another very good benefit of a metal roof is if you are into water collection, the run off is cleaner. Composite (shingles, tar/rock, etc) are high in petroleum base. As they deteriorate, those particles get into the water.
