Same thing happened with the Harry potter actors. In the first film you can tell which seens were recorded last and first as in the movie their voices get deeper and higher in different seens.
Consider the production problems if Iain Armitage's growth slowed and his show sister shot up to be taller than him. Both Sheldon and Missy were tall adults.
people grow till 21-22 so her sister might shoot up and then he might grow taller than her in the future. Generally girls grow taller quicker and boys catch up and overtake later
@@dylanshadowstar9779 He also had a "feud" with Wil Wheaton until the two actually met, and he cites a specific experience that caused it. But yeah, by TBBT he was team Picard and he also went to a con dressed as Data. I guess TNG grew on him.
Factoid: The Tribbles were ripped-off of Robert A. Heinlein's novel "The Rolling Stones." The producers caught this and contacted Heinlein for permission. He said it was no problem as long as they sent him an autographed copy of the script, which they did. Heinlein and Isaac Asimov considered Star Trek to be the best Science-Fiction TV series of the 50's, 60's, and 70's.
I think David gerold covered that in one of his books didn’t he? At any rate tributes was one of the things that got me to read Heinlein when I was growing up.
OK, when that guy got on the bus cosplaying Dr. Smith, I actually thought it was Jonathan Harris until I realized that was simply impossible. He is goood.
This was the second time Sheldon ran away from home and took a bus. Remember when he wrote Missy a Morse code message and rode a bus to a psychiatric hospital in Rusk to see Dr. Sturgis?
This would be heaven and hell for me as a Star Wars fan. Heaven because I’d be with my people and hell because the fandom is an absolute war zone right now
3 types: 1) Fat girls who want to get laid, 2) Hairy, tattoo girls that can't get laid and finally 3) Hot nerd girls who like sex and can't get enough. #1 or #3 is good. #2 eh.
This might as well be their last season. Because the kid is growing up to be handsome boy and not a nerd. He is such a great actor. But his voice is much too deep to play the nerdy sheldon.
I think we can all decide to collectively ignore the voice because I mean, they did their best but you can't stop or change puberty. As for Iain being too handsome to play nerdy Sheldon... well I've always found Jim Parsons handsome, they just liked to give him slightly-too-short haircuts and ill-fitting clothes. Also a nerd can be good-looking 🙂
That's just a good eye at casting years ago. The toddler actress that played Tabitha grew up to look very much like Elizabeth Montgomery because they had used her baby pictures to help cast.
Not so off topic... Just like this episode, people stop, read your comment, raise one eyebrow then go on to their own posts. Another one of the fun things that adds to the show. Poor Dr. Zachary Smith, A.K.A. Mr. Givens.
Nowadays debates like that would be shut down with accusations of "Gatekeeper!" and being called a bigot of some kind. This scene showed the kind of mild, yet passionate entitlement fans had back then, versus the entitlement of fandom groupthink one must ascribe to today.
I have a question I never been to comic con and this is a serious question is it worth it I mean you’re dressing up in public and everyone is watching iam still debating on going someday but I’m worried that for the people that aren’t going Will stare at me and probably laugh especially since I’ve been dealing with anxiety for a long time always worrying about what other people say but the way people talk about comicon it does sound like fun but I’m just scared of what people who aren’t in Comic-Con will do or say if they see me dressing up as my favorite characters in public what do you think?
Yes, it’s Steve Burns! And I did not know, that after the first four seconds when young Sheldon was looking at the poster, I could not believe my eyes!
Wow! I’m surprised to find out that Sheldon’s nerdy bald friend Nathan is actually Steve Burns, the original host of one of my childhood TV shows; Blue’s Clues in the early 2000s on Nick Jr.! Maybe Sheldon and Nathan would solve some of their own clues at Texarkana-Con. Also, what if Jim Parsons was a new host for Blue’s Clues & You, along with Josh? Or maybe Iain Armitage as a kid/teen host for Blue’s Clues! Wouldn’t that be interesting. 😉👍💙🐶🐾
Let's see: It'll take 4-1/2 hours for him to reach Texarkana, 1-3 days at the comic-con, and another 4-1/2 for him to get back... and he's starting-out from somewhere in East Texas. Geez... it only took Burt Reynolds & Jerry Reed 27-hrs. 50-min. to get there from the outskirts of Atlanta and back, and they made the flip-trip with a truckload of beer while eluding & baiting law officers along the way... and stopping to pick-up Sally Field! =;D
If Mary would have only let Sheldon go to the Texarkana-Con if he’d be accompanied by an adult, couldn’t he have just told her that Nathan was going and he’d be there with him? He counts as an adult.
I thought I saw Steve you can’t hide from me I will always remember him as the man who shaped my future and who taught me dogs are amazing but are a mystery
