It’s weird because i knew they weren’t in a relationship but i knew they were definitely in love

I’m so sad! I wanted them to make it. I’ve been married more than 1/2 my life. I’d never dated anyone under 6’4”. (Just an example). I was working for the DoD and was introduced to a handsome fighter pilot (sexy job) but, most fighter pilots are short. He’s 5’10” and I’m 5’8”. I was young and was really hung up on his height. I wear heels almost everyday. But, it never bothered him and I admired his confidence. Not we’re married with three grown children. He’s retired from the Air Force now. Long story, but I wouldn’t be so happily married if I’d decided that his height was a deal breaker. I love these videos!

I remember him from school, he was the drum major at our school, Carol City SHS (Go Chiefs! 😂) he’s always been super cute, and QUIET!

They still love each other, but they just have to work out the kinks. Not every relationship is going to be perfect but that’s why you work things out and grow with each other to figure out what one another wants. They could definitely get back together in the future.

I think the issue is the high expectations because having expectations is like setting yourself up for disappointment. No human being can attain such high expectation because we are imperfect creatures. The beauty in relationships is you grow together through it all to attain greater heights than if you were alone. Relationships hold us accountable.

Frienship is very important to me because it's the foundation of a strong relationship as a couple. Love doesn't have to be all about attraction because it easily fades in time but if you continue to be bestfriends, you have more chance of surviving every trial in the relationship.

The distance and body language made this obvious. They rarely looked at each other. If you can't be honest and got to ask your friends, yeah it's never going to work out.

Internet psychologist opinion here. They obviously match well as friends, but things probably ended because the romance was too weird or just wasn’t there. He still has feelings for her it seems so he probably has a lower libido, which is perfect for a platonic companionship but she probably wanted more. Just my 2 cents.

She's the type of woman that looks in the mirror and believes based off her physical appearance that her expectations should be sky high. When she gets older and doesn't come across that man, she'll regret not taking him seriously and he'll be married. Women do this a lot, huge expectations in their 20s to mid 30s, and once their attraction starts to fade they'll understand, and end up settling for whatever they can have. Sad truth. Ladies if you come across your soulmate don't bypass him because hes not where you want him to be financially, or career wise. Life is so much more than that.
