The heel hook: the most taboo fighting technique in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Many BJJ tournaments outright ban this technique, although some allow it. The heel hook is always legal in MMA competition, but because of the stigma surrounding leg locks, many fighters and grapplers have absolutely stunted their development as leg lockers.
