In the traditional teachings of our Diné they say there are certain times the Holy People are on the surface of Mother Earth.
You might not ever see fog the same way again. The teachings say that when there is fog the Holy People are near.
The idea is... We (the Five-fingered Being) don't have the ability to see the Holy People. They are beyond our physical senses. The fog, is perhaps symbolic. Symbolising that we cannot see them but they are near.
The same idea goes for the rainbow. The unseen light can represent the Holy People. The light surrounds us but we cannot see it. Only the effects of it. And when it is fractured we can see the colors of the rainbow.

Sgee, Grand father, I'm an enrolled Eastern Band Cherokee female, and my niece ( my brother's daughter) is dine. So I listen to you with great respect always. Six years ago I went on a year Walk about, with my nine dogs and me in a minivan. Following the trail of tears, I spent the coldest winter in many years, in the van, camping. Sometimes not knowing if I'd wake up on this side or the other. From freezing at night. One wonderful night the place we were up high in the mountains of the Ozarks. I was encompassed by the most beautiful fog. It was very late at night and I got out of the van to stand in silence and it was beautiful. I used my phone to take pictures, so I could carry it with me. Your sharing touched me deeply, knowing that it may have been our holy people there with me. In the depths of darkness in the forest mountain. Again, sgee ( thank you in my language) your sharing brought such peace to my heart.

I am part Cherokee and I regularly walk at the Pea Ridge Military Park through which the Trail of Tears winds. I always feel my ancestors walking with me or rather me with them.

My mom left Dec.5th 1998...So sorry for your loss. I was recently told by a man who shared that he was a healer. He told me things about myself and that I have my Ancestors are ALL around me. He was a complete stranger who came into the auto shop I was working at. I seem to always have the most interesting conversations with people. He was one of them. He wore many beads around his neck that were underneath his shirt. I've always had an attraction to beads. When I asked him is when the conversation became very spiritual. Have a blessed New Year

When I was a child, I used to ride my horse in the fog. I would see the spider webs clearly with their jewel water drops. To this day, the fog feels sacred.

Mr Brown , The similar memory and reminder from the old klamath teaching is that from nine months in the mothers' water in the womb , we are born to enter to swim in the fog that is the ocean of air that sometimes snows onto us and always flows in rivers around us as She creates new life and the fog of a blizzard of snow is powerful medicine as you are also describing the quiet fog as carrying medicine and medicine beings . Young birds and young humans can drown in heavy rainstorms as if we were drowning in her ocean or lakes and the breath of the earth mother creates life and carries microscopic life as well as medicine being life , all beyond our vision and older and more knowledgeable than humans . The rain walking spirit beings are as tall as the clouds and work to walk around and away from human noise and work to walk around away from human eyes . These beings only seem to be like human walking because we want to see human shapes . Thank you so much for this video. It makes me feel as though my loved ones who have passed on can be with me, even though they cannot touch me, or talk to me in a physical way. My dad passed away in September 2022, and he had served among the Navajo people for two years. In fact, my grandpa knows this Elder, so listening to his videos, makes me remember my grandpas and my dad.

Thank you for the Understanding that being children of Holy People, in no way makes US Holy people, but makes us Sacred Beings, with our responsibilities. Thank you for mentioning that when Holy People appear, there is a mist or foggy edge to perception. Yet, the mere presence of fog, does not signify the presence of Holy People! 😊

I was on my own at age 15. When I was 19, I couldn't sleep...and around 3 o'clock in the morning I was *compelled* to leave my apartment and walk...a friend had left his walking stick so I took that and set out, into the fog, a fog so thick...I kept walking and wondering why I was out there...after a time I heard a sobbing sound...I went in that direction, and came upon a man who was suicidal. Long story short, I was able to turn him around...once I felt him turn from death to life I was able to go home, where I slept a deep, peaceful sleep. I live in the Pacific Northwest. Fog is a part of our lives...I used to be a cocktail waitress, and I loved to hear the sailors talk about the different ports they'd been to, their adventures. Sailors are superstitious, and fog is significant to sailors. To me, it's like a warm blanket...or an old friend. 😏

LOVE and compassion for MOTHER EARTH and humanity. Protection of INNOCENCE and what's not invisible will be my focus. "HOLY PEOPLE" decide to show up, i will welcome a hug or handshake and any help to HEAL this place...To get on to creativity, enjoyment, wonderment, studies, etc. it's difficult for many to imagine a world with no "war" or ensuing "battle" looming to satisfy the angry, spiteful, jealous, etc. but that's where we headed. Back to balance, back to respect for the MOTHER, THE WOMB, THE NURTURER, and forgiveness through TRUTH. LOVE doesnt hurt, is UNDERSTANDING, forgiving, and the reason for ALL. Only a woman knows that "connection" and each of us has complete domain of our person bodies, regardless of another humans opinion, spoken or written...Prevention through love is the answer. This story reaches out to me, when I was a young man I used to climb trees in the forest to hunt deer with a bow and arrow, now I am not Indian, German, and and the US ARMY took all fear out of me at a young age, but I remember the fog blowing in one afternoon, a storm blowing in, the hairs on my neck were rising up, something was in the fog, never could figure it out, until now.

The fog is also called the veil it looks like fog or smokey the particles don't move like fog it goes all over the place those that vibrate higher see the fog as light particles keeping it short many blessings guys

2:47 That is how I've often felt within the FOG. What was beautiful this year was I had ny lazer lights on my house. Their was a THICK FOG and tge way the streams of light were in it was mesmerizing. In my younger years their was a golf course at the end of a dead end street. People would park their cars at night to look out into tge distance where the FOG was on the top. Within it movement could be seen as if their were people in it. May God our Father and Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior guide bless protect and SAVE us from those within our own GOVERNMENTS and these ENTITIES that exist as we fulfill our missions in life I pray Amen Have a blessed New Year

I always have a special feeling when I am in the mist or fog in the forest or up in Kokeʼe in Hawaii where you can feel the presence of the Holy ones. This is a story I have heard in several different ways. I appreciate being able to hear this one in the mother language of the Navajo human beings. The fog analogy is wonderful. I needed that medicine. It is important to remember we are One throughout our time as human beings. We can become lost in the fog if we lose the way. We were never alone and never will be. My adult son and i are doing a hotsprings winter camp to celebrate my 70th birthday this weekend. I was concerned about hhe snow forcast...but not any more! 🙏❄🇨🇦 P.S. it was (morning) dark when i watched this. When i opened the curtains at daylight, i see we are shrouded in a thick fog!

We had a heavy fog come through a few days ago. From my fron lt window you could barely see cars driving past on the street. I sat with my cats just talking oit the window, telling them about the elders who move in fogs and how they are watchers who protects the land and the people. The fog seemed to lift slightly but only around my home, and got darker near the street. I feel the strongly during heavy storms, but since I acknowledged their presence and told them we are friends and mean no harm. Heavy storms, bad weather go around the small half mile around my home. Like it hits a dome of protect. We even have Hawk guards who live in the trees nearby. Feel like im finally home.
