There are fake fans...antis using burner accounts pretending to be a fan of a certain group to throw hate and shade on their own faves to start fandom wars. Please don't pretend you don't know how the world works.
And some fandoms act like tbeir fandom is perfect and they would never ever say anything bad about another fandom 💀 there's nothing wrong with admitting your fandom has shitty people in it. Everyone fandom does! Just accept it
The irony is fans who call you ugly for not liking a kpop song are the same who write "Noone is born ugly, we are just born in a judgement society"💀💀💀💀
@@taecup7416 sorry to burst your bubble but there actually are. I did encounter them and when you tell them you are not a fan of a specific group their whole perspective changes about you... LMAO maybe you are not like them but people like that EXIST.
I actually burst into tears watching this, because I’ve been traumatized so badly by kpoppers….it happened almost two years ago, but this is seriously how they are and they think their “idols” are objects that can be owned. They’re highly, highly disturbing and horrible people….I was terrified for my life and I’m still so paranoid that I can’t even go see concerts, without feeling like they’re going to brutally attack me 😢 I LOVE kpop, but I will NEVER be a kpopper.
Damn..I'm so sorry you had to go through all this. .I hope u wont let this affect ur life and enjoy concerts etc without feeling scared..I do agree with that majority of kpop stans are toxic but not all of them are so don't loose hope..stay strong!💙

The fact that the fandoms are actually so toxic that he couldn't use an actual kpop song 💀 Edit: Ya'll I know that there's copyright and stuff but I'm just joking about the toxic fandom (which actually is toxic, but the comment is just for fun and no hate)
Yes, there are many toxic fans. But, not using an actual Kpop song doesn’t have anything to do with toxic fandom. He’s an artist (RU-vidr) so he can’t really use an other artist song and say it’s a shitty song. It just basic respect manners. Also, like someone said, there is copyright. We can criticize toxic fandom, when there really is something to criticize. But inventing things just to criticize… it’s as ridiculous as the toxic fandom you want to criticize.
This song hits hard and the lyrics are so deep and meaningful, I was literally crying my heart out when he said "HaJiMaa". By which they mean stop giving them love because it's now their time to send love for all of us! My life changed after hearing this song. I'm sobbing.
To be fair, there is also many who just enjoy kpop and respect people who dont like it. But the reason we always think its everyone is because the vocal minority is in comment sections and twitter feeds, we dont see the people that simply dont participate and enjoy their music
That’s why even if I’ve been listening to K-pop since I was 8 (idk if I can call myself a K-pop listener since at that age, all I listened to was SM artists like suju & snsd. The only other non-SM was beast and big bang. I listened strictly to what I like and not for the sake of listening to K-pop), I only ever want to be a casual listener. I don’t interact with K-poppers, to avoid getting sucked into the cult. I don’t talk about k-pop with people, even though practically everyone’s a k-pop fan now.
Man that’s so accurate like if you love a group that doesn’t mean that you need be blind . You still can judge if its better or not cause everyone don’t have same taste and not everyone will come up with the best ever time . I am also a K-pop fan ✨
Well it's kinda difficult when said person has their entire identity and life tied to the group. It's actually really sad when you take the time to think about it
I think it can be hard if you already bought album and you do not like it. And you just...have to like it. Not cause you spend money but cause if you won't like it and won't support, and this comeback won't exceed the last - company will abodan them and they will disband. And only you can help them survive, that's your duty. - that's what companies do with young minds and not always so young fans. That's so f* up. I think it's not only industry itself but companies make it obvious that groups are investments aka projects. As well, they create that stories and personalities and make fans heros. Not artists but fans themselves are actual heros/gods in that stories. Young fans are just do not get it that they are being using this way. Kpop groups are more like tv-shows/games where fans wants to know what will happen next. Like groups have levels. So, they make them excited for every new record cause it helps to get to a new level. So, they kind of make them emotional depended on next result. That's why you see that toxic behaviour. That's so sad. Companies are evil. Poor fans.
@@kakakeks um no, some of stacyc and Ive's songs are very good, I also like Twice's new songs and I'm not even a fan of any of those groups. It's mostly a matter of opinion, although I don't like New Jeans at all

LOL this is epic and so true. I'm so tired of the toxic behavior. I get so much hate just for liking multiple groups. Why is that even wrong? Where is this insane rule where you are only allowed to be a part of one fandom? The groups themselves don't even fight with each other. They all love and respect each other. Why can't the fans do the same thing? Also what's wrong with not liking a song from one of your favorite groups? I can honestly say I don't absolutely love every song by every artist. That doesn't make me less of a fan. It's personal preference and there's nothing wrong with that.
I agree, I love tons of kpop groups and don't like every song by every one. I had an online friend who was so toxic all she ever spoke about was stray kids and I liked them too but she barely would speak about anything else even when I tried to she'd bring convo back to her and them or something. She made me actually not like stray kids so much because I got so sick of it. Glad I stopped being friends with her. I mean she complained even about how not all the members had same number of followers on Instagram but then when I said but you told me the other day if they all released a solo album you'd only by Han's? So you can't claim to like and support them all and only buy one, I got a solo album by every member of BTS because I enjoy all their solo music. If I didn't I wouldn't but her complaint made no sense to me. She wanted them to all have the same popularity which would never happen but herself wouldn't support them all. Made no sense and hadn't even listened to all their songs even though they were her fave band! Make it make sense!
This is so hilarious and, at the same time, saddening. How the non-toxic fans are dragged into the toxic fandom issue because most of those in the fandom are toxic. And the accuracy? DAYUM!
For real. I recently got into an argument with a fan from the only 'k-pop' group whose music I like - because I AGREED with her. It's a generally easy-going fandom that thanks reactors with negative opinions for their honest thoughts. But, 'tis the nature of getting bigger, I guess 🤷♀️ I don't want the toxic ones to hijack the fandom though.
One exception: SB19. The Filipino all-male group, despite the humble way they've faced their bashers/haters, still gets targeted by k-pop fanatics for having bad visuals and for being k-pop/BTS wannabes. But A'tin (the fandom behind SB19) has been very patient defending the group from these haters. It seems k-pop fans hate anything and everything that doesn't reflect their standards so they can be defensive about any negativity toward their idols while being insensitive about other fandoms and their take on their idols. The fact that dancing skills and visuals are rated FIRST in k-pop (as Koreans themselves admit) but not so in Pinoy or Philippine pop (you see, in the Philippines it is assumed that when you sing, you must be nothing short of exceptional. Everything matters ONLY AFTER you show some vocal prowess) means that Pinoy pop fans and k-pop fans will NEVER see eye to eye. SB 19 is talented- and we've already said that if you don't like them, then you don't like them. But the critics keep bashing them for reasons that have little to do with their talent or their personalities. They can sing as well as dance exceptionally well- and they look good- as their concerts easily prove. Usually, the hate is just filled with prejudice, with k-pop fans assuming that the SLIGHTEST, foggiest resemblance to their idols (in dance and music beat) makes another idol inferior. They don't care if the standards they think their idols OWN have been around since the birth of pop culture in the West. While k-pop fans are busy trying to insulate their idols from criticism, us A'tin are busy trying to make the world see that not all idols are just looks and dance moves. Singing is for listening... so in the end, whatever the idol's ability is, the VOCALS should be there to GIVE JUSTICE to the MUSIC or composition that is exactly what the audience is listening for. Besides, let's be honest- dance isn't a defining feature of ANY MUSIC GENRE, which means you can't define k-pop by looking at the dance moves. That's why most of the hate SB19 gets through comparisons with k-pop is nothing but a hodge-podge of fallacies or illogical reasoning. Besides, if we keep making idols popular for their looks than their talents- then what's the difference between actors, models, and singers? Why bother to create great music if audiences can't even tell the difference between a brilliant composition and garbage that tries to sound decent in autotune? They say autotune is harmless- it's normal for artists to use them- but SB19 is proving that with the right discipline you can SING LIVE WITHOUT AUTOTUNE and still be amazing. Authentic artists are not artists who sing perfectly like robots- they're the ones who manage to sing their best and dance their best like a total performer. Best is not always perfect- but it's better than being fake. As for looks- no artist can stay young forever. But talent is like wine- it only gets better with time. 😍
@@turquoisemoon3654 Dude! I'm also an A'TIN, and it's such a struggle always defending SB19 because of narrow-minded people. They just won't let their minds be open about it... especially the locals.
The accuracy is creepy. A lot of toxic fans use idols as physical manifestations of self-confidence. They can’t tolerate anyone whose opinions differ from their own. They need counseling to find a more permanent solution to their self-esteem issues because their obsessions do more harm than good.
Agree. These toxic fans see their idols as literal gods and goddesses, they literally worship the ground k-idols walked on. Oh you disagree about my bias? Doxxed. You don't like their new song? Death threats. Their fucking creepy and disgusting.
I am kpop fan but many of my friends are not ...they tell me that they don't prefer that type of musics and its absolutely fine different persons have different opinions and likings....But let me tell you I have seen a girl literally hit a guy who told that he doesn't prefer that type of music...like ..I was dumbstruck....the audacity that girl had...and she was ones my friend...
I thought for sure you meant stays. Like yes armys are toxic but they don’t have to fake that they love a song. Most of bts discography is pretty solid.
Blonks and Loonatics (what I call the crazy batsh*t side of Loona's fans). There are usually fans that would stan at least 1 of them and they always got the most to say.
i had a friend who sent me like a million worrying texts and called me sobbing in tears and i was beyond anxious that she was having a mental health episode or someone in her family had died. turns out she was just reading some RM lyrics and thinking he wrote them about her. we are not friends anymore lol
@@32-bitcloud let me tell you what's even more cringe. she wouldn't even TELL me why she was so upset for a few days. in that time, she sent me a blank book and wanted me to illustrate a pentagon-themed coloring book for her to make her feel better (her bias was yuto i think, she had MASSIVE parasocial feelings for him). she didn't ask, she just sent me the book (we were long distance besties at the time) and expected me to put hours of labor into it free of charge. because ~friendship~ and i was so worried about her. so after she finally told me it was about some RM lyrics, i half-assed the book and made it very heavily friendship-themed and left a thinly veiled note in the back that essentially said, "hey, don't manipulate me like that again." i sent it back to her and she sent me some more texts about how she "was working on things in therapy."
wow, i have a friend that is exactly like that, and i'm done with her this time. I won't involve myself into her problems anymore, but i hope she gets better tho. But i don't know why you have to mention RM in this.. this is not a hate comment abt RM, right?
@@ugogirl22649 it is categorically NOT a hate comment about RM, he’s a great song writer. he’s in the comment simply because that is what happened and I recognize that one of his stans’ behavior is not a reflection of him as an individual.

This is what happens everytime I listen to a new song by a famous group and think it's not good but the comments section will be like...yassss queen another masterpiece 💫💫 this is their world and we're just existing in it...🤧🤧
I laughed so much that I almost cried. As a kpop fan this hit me directly. By the way I would love a longer version of 'I Am Your Oppa' because it's too funny XD
I dont understand how can people make themselves listen to bad songs just to claim they are a "real fan". They must really hate themselves. Meanwhile, knetizens criticize things and are taken seriously by the companies.
@Mohona No. That's absolutely untrue. The song can be considered to be not good even objectively speaking. There is seriously no need to pretend as if the most famous group in the world is being "hated on" by anyone who doesn't like their less superior songs.
@Mohona The song can make you happy without it being good. I love reading trashy fanfics - they make me really happy. But I can acknowledge that they are not "good." Your own opinion is subjective, but like I said, that particular song is objectively inferior (and I say this in comparison to BTS' other songs).
This is horribly accurate 😭 literally the reason I left twitter The blink/army wars were insane. The stans (not fans) were a bunch of 12 year olds calling each other ugly and telling each other to die 24/7 I'm an army and somewhat a blink, and you guys need to stop fighting. Neither fandom is bad, you both just have a minority of extremely immature, toxic fans who are super loud and obnoxious. Unfortunately, that's all either of you can see and it's ridiculous. Just frickin' get on with each other, will you??
That part is The Best! Like, sometimes I read discussions and even some professional reviews and feel 'Really? Am I really missing something..in This?' 🤣
I see people saying armies in the comments, and I just wanted to say there are some toxic armies but no way compared to how toxic dives and blinks are. Blinks trying to convince me “Ratatatatata” is good? And wonyoung not respecting senior idols is because she was focuses on her lines as MC? No thanks…💀
I am a simple person. If I like a song, I like it. If I hate a song, I am not afraid to say the song sucks even if it means having a Fandom cancel me. And if someone else don't like the song, I am not going to shit on them either.
always remember, just because you love a group, it doesn't mean you have to like all their songs. and please don't be that kind of person, don't attack people just because they don't like the songs, and even if that person is being mean about it (about not liking the song) don't respond in the same mean way, just savagely respond to them if you can but without attacking what they like
Absolutely, i was a hardcore txt fan and honestly i didn't like their new album at all leaving two tracks, even the title track, but i was quite suprised to see no one had the same opinion as me, everyone was hyping it like it was the best album of theirs when it was far from that. It was not the first time though.
the weirdest thing about fandoms is that they translate "i dont like the song" or "it's not for me" into "the song is bad, therefore the group is bad, therefore you have shit taste". like music is subjective. people will have different opinions. and people having different opinions from yours isn't an attack on you. even if the song is objectively bad and unlistenable, but if you enjoy it, then good for you. enjoy the hell out of that song. but you dont have to force everyone to conform with yours or your fandom's opinion. im sorry i ranted. fandoms on twt have been so annoying.
Even if I say the song is bad, and if u really like that shitty song then obviously u have taste like shit and the group u r stanning if they continue to compose songs like this then obviously the group is not good enough to be upto my likings, even if I say these where's the problem? That's my right to express my opinions, right?
I know that some songs can be bad even though I am a fan not all songs are awesome and some concepts may not suit the group but toxic fans are too much
It now came to the point where you can't call out an idol to improve his/her craft... Even the pretty obvious things that need improvement, fandoms would cancel you if you leave a truthful comment...
Because they work so much! They made so many sacrifices! They faced so much hate and hardships to get where they are at!! Who ate you to judge?? I'm joking by the way 💀

This video hits real hard. Just a couple of months ago I started to explore a gg and they have some good songs which is why I admire them, but when they released a song recently and I didn't like it, I posted a POLITE comment expressing my feelings, and literally everyone bashed me for literally no reason. Since then I decided not to engage with the fandom anymore and just enjoy the songs and admire the group members instead of getting involved in fandom wars, disputes and controversies.
Is this about BLACKPINK'S Born Venom ablum coz honestly I didn't like any of it's songs or the concept It's just a guess although.... And my thoughts as well
@@rimjhimramola2025 Yeah, you guessed it right. The album track was kinda average and Pink Venom beat drop wasn't that great. They've used beat drops in their previous releases like "Crazy over you" and "Whistle" and those songs turned out way better than the new release. Besides, they go on such long hiatus after every release but it seems like they don't work on improving their skills, they even mess up their concerts by giving poor performances. I mean ya'll are professional kpop idols and not rookies at least live up to the expectations
Same, I was an avid kpop fan back then. Keeping up with new groups as well as old groups that I love. Whatever they released, songs, concerts, merch and reality shows, I'd eat it all up. It was fun when it started, I ventured into the fandom and communicated with new kpop fans online too. Some of them were very nice, while some blatantly rude. You could disagree about something, and they'd hate on you like there's no tomorrow. A few years ago, I expressed my opinion that I didn't like a certain song from a very popular boy group. The amount of threat and hate I got was ridiculously big, to the point I deleted my accounts and stay away from kpop communities for a year. I'm a casual listener now, but I don't venture into any fandom any longer because of what happened.
This is so true. Not every song will be everyone’s favourite & you can't force any song to be your favourite. But in kpop we can't even comment that i didn’t like the song much so i just shut my mouth & don't listen to the song anymore💀

I honestly think that they gained popularity from the start simply because they are under the same Hybe umbrella as BTS. That goes for New Jeans also. I am not saying they are bad but their quick rise seems to be mostly if not majority BTS fans. Most of BTS fans seem to align themselves with anyone associated with BTS, says good things about them, or those BTS gives a compliment to. It’s weird how fandoms work now. I do think it’s the mostly the very young fan base though. However it is still annoying just the same.
As someone who has been keeping up with the drama over TwoSet... Please drop the full version of this song. Also, the routine was hilarious and spot-on.
@@yusinu6642 TwoSet did a parody of a recent song by a certain girl group, the stans got offended, and then the few sane people in the room pointed out that said girl group had only used the first two bars of Paganini's La Campanella to sample. The hard part of being a fan of artists, whether it's Korean or International artists is : you can't give any opinions. Artists probably didn't said anything but the fandoms will 'attack' you even if what you said is a logical things.
I think that the fandom of smaller groups (like very very underrated) are great, there is no drama, no toxic behaviors, no haters, no fanwars. And fandoms from smaller groups often support each others cause they know how hard it is for the smaller groups and they don't want their favorite groups to disband which happens a lot for groups from small companies Edit: by small groups I meant Craxy, Pixy, Irris, Luminous, Ghost9, Bvndit, etc. Those are very very small groups with a small fanbase, and the fanbase only care about promoting and supporting the group so that they don't disband. They don't have the time to start fanwars or engage in any toxic behaviours cause they just want their faves to keep being active.
It depends. Like you know BTS are also from a small non big 3 company but now look at them. Their fandom has grown really toxic nowadays. I don't blame the boys at all. But especially the new armies are mostly toxic because they haven't see uri bangtan's struggles. They think they got it easy and now they are just the ultimate one. No, other groups are equally great as BTS but sometimes promotions, exposure, consistency and many factors matters too. They literally forget to appreciate other groups and rather downgrade them to show their supremacy. I mean yeah they are really good but just stop bringing down others. They won't feel happy if you do so. You can appreciate someone without bringing others down. People really need to understand that it's okay to like multiple groups equally and you don't have to choose your favorite. Love and support all the groups you resonate with. Because not one single group can give you everything. Whether it's a music genre or type of comfort/motivation.You can like BP for their girl crush concepts and at the same time Twice for their cute concepts. You can like BTS for their lovely and romantic concepts and Dreamcatcher for their horror concepts. It's all valid until you hate someone for no good reason. You can't hate Itzy for releasing mediocre songs in their latest comeback. It's okay to experiment and fail. I mean y'all just forget that they are the same Itzy who blew up the internet with Wannabe. Just treat your oppas and nunas and eonnies as humans. Allow them to make minor mistakes, correct them if needed. No need to bash them. Allow them to be themselves.
