A narcissist makes you feel uncomfortable. Their niceness is insincere. They are too nice, too generous, too kind. You feel it! It's not normal. Avoid. Stay away.
I hit my personal epiphany that it is an extreme example of someone who granted went through maybe traumatic things to get there but they didn't process it and take the proper accountability and then pushed their foot on the gas and never stopped. I should be a demon with my past trauma and I stopped the momentum because I made the decision. We give these people too much leeway with saying it was beyond their control to become this creature. As they careen towards their cliff of lack of accountability at a certain point, they are completely open to demonic forces and thats when they are completely taken over. It is exactly what happened with Satan as an angel in human form. It is a heavy lesson.
Seriously! I have a roommate with narc tendencies and I’ve stopped all unnecessary communication ( not about the rent ) and I already feel like a new bish lol. She underestimated how good I am at acting like someone doesn’t exists. #scorpiomoon

Very true! My experience exactly. They’re like kids. They’ll ignore you until they want something and will be nice out of the blue. Even AFTER you let them know you’re on to them and that you know they’re manipulative. They have no shame.
They may act nice so you'll be off guard and start trusting them and then they attack you. The wound is guaranteed to hurt you deeper this way. My mom used this tactic a lot.
My mother is a classic 'older' narcissist. She has always been mean and bullying but in her old age, she has gotten worse. She often 'plays nice' to purposefully establish friendships with anybody who will feel sorry for her and then begins a perpetual cycle of borrowing money from them and most times doesn't pay it back. She will offer to do small favors for people that make her look generous but she is actually setting them up for future favors that she's going to ask of them. She counts on them feeling guilty if they turn her down. I've also seen her turn on people who won't reciprocate her favors by spreading horrible rumors about them behind their back. When confronted about the horrible things she's said, she simply says "I never said that. Someone is lying on me. I would never say anything like that'.
One of my best friend from church did all these things to me. The favor she got was spending every weekends in my home for 4 months with her family. Both myself and my husband went through sever burn out, my husband got depromoted in his project and I got very sick due to which my 2 year old went through sever neglect. It's been a year now. God helped me forgive. But by all means we are staying away from her and her family. Hard lesson learnt. But learnt it well. Yes, she is gossiping about me and my baby. Let her... God is a living God. I give Him the control. He knows how and when to discipline
Don't cooperate with them from the very beginning. Eventually someone will do them in and give them their same medicine. There are narcs who are better at it than other narcs.
If they are treating you nice they definitely want something from you. Dig deep enough you will always find the reason! I just ignore nice or not nice they soon back off.
I started throwing this gifts in the garbage to help remind me they were being too nice to help me stay aware & alert to what not react to what’s to come.
The ex said I was "f*cked in the head" because his nice act didn't work , I told him ooops your mask has slipped off, they always show themselves eventually, we need to keep our guards up
When their plans and tactics unfold and the prey fell victim for their trap. That makes them giddy. What they don't get is that, whatever the cost to leave them, it is a small price to be pay for getting away from their controlling and selfish nature.

Do they ever give up trying to destroy your life? Discarded him and now he is worse than ever trying to finish me off , gone no contact but constantly worrying what his next move is , I don’t know how much more I can take without going insane

Some of them just play nice to get back in control of you once they’ve lost it. But the one I know is so volatile it doesn’t take much to get them to rip that mask off and expose them again.
By the way- just a warning!- the law is on their side. Don’t invite any of them over. In some states, if you invite anyone to spend the night, they have legs rights to live there and many have lost their homes and got falsely incarcerated by these lying creatures.
Bang on! The narcs rely on non-narcs’ goodwill and forgiveness that undeservedly categories the narcs’ ‘niceness’ as genuine ‘goodness’ when it’s nothing of the kind. People who twitter on about just ‘seeing the good’ in others most likely have never been a the target of a narcissist... or maybe they are a narcissist! 😄
These have been the hardest narcissists to destroy or get rid of in my life. Their sweetness creates such confussion in your brain.... Because somewhat they leave no trace of evil... Apparently... Only in your soul.. Or in the way you feel after they leave, or when you get better... When you realize the covered poison and manipulation behind their niceness... SPOT ON !!!! THEY CAN PLAY THEIR GAMES FOR YEARS TO GET TO THEIR OBJECTIVE (IF NECESSARY) e.g. marriage, money,kids, shared bank accounts, info on inheritance or longterm payouts. Anything that can benifit them longterm with an escape plan then set in train after the con is complete.

I have found that when they perceive an outside threat or in a battle with someone outside the relationship they completely change to engage you and attempt to align you against the threat. They can't battle on two fronts because they commit all their energy to get who or what they want.
My 42yr old daughter just got divorced and is so upset that she's damned me with a litany of profanity as 'she heard I was gossiping about her'...it's an imagination of hers.but, she thinks it is the truth...no specifics provided..just allegations with gutter profanity names of me. Last week she sent me an email exclaiming that she loved me in my words. I don't trust her at all...no apologies for her behavior either. So your video is well timed for me...thank you. I have gone 'no contact'...sad for a mother to resort to.

They look happy when they hurt u. I learnt this in a hard way. My sweet older sister I never noticed earlier but this time I noticed whenever evryone fights with me in home I obviously get hurt and cry and that day I swear she radiates so much she laughs so much and loud. Tbh I don't understand why my family never notices that. I saw this time how she manipulates everyone and actually everyone want to be too . But I only know how much I suffered.
I find this person to be very dangerous..because you put a lot of trust in them. Then you become vulnerable. Ive known this person for 30 yrs. When i became aware of her narcissistic behavior, I was shocked...I realized just how much she was jealous, envious and threatened by me. She never supported me in anything. I supported, encouraged and promoted everythjng she did. Trusted her implicitly and all the time she was stabbing me in the back. DANGEROUS

They have no conscience, when it comes to getting what they want,my soon to be ex-husband is a narcissist, (severe enmeshment with his mother)so when he is nice,I'm just like "what do you want?".Because I know you are trying to do something,or you want something.
A narc that used to nitpick everything I do and get under my skin like crazy started doing this. So disturbing how they switch demeanors on a dime. And my mom actually does the 2nd reason all the time! Very eye opening! Thanks for the video!
They do something nice for you or someone else you can bet you WILL owe them something at some point!! Beware...don't ever except gifts from them, there's always a price attached or a favor!!

When the ex narc is nice it set's off sirens and alarm bells, massive red flag, in my case he's after something. I have no choice but to still deal with him as we have children together but rest assured it's a pattern.
My daughter's father has gone from completely ignoring me for months...to suddenly asking me to join them for dessert after dinner, paying for the said dessert, giving me the money he owes me voluntarily without having to be asked a million times. I just said to my friend..."He is gearing up for something big." Not looking forward to his schemes. lol
this guy was giving me compliments he didn’t mean, and I know he didn’t mean them because i called him out that he doesn’t have to exaggerate and he said “ok I won’t exaggerate” turned out, he was being fake nice to me so that I’d agree to meet up with him, that’s the only thing he cared about they cannot be nice just for being nice because they cannot feel things like love, empathy, they feed off of those things from others to cover up their insecurities
“Putting on a show” and wanting that they look like the the hero of all heroes. I see it time and time again, I always get away as fast as I can because I know they are actually searching and looking for something to embarrass or belittle. And/or the nice act is just a ticking time bomb of rage, blaming me or anyone for ruining their day when they were just trying to have a good day.
It also may mean triangulation, It can also mean an affair and It could also mean that they’ve done something to hurt you but you just don’t know it yet.

Remember narcissits usually have secrets and hide who they are . If they don't hide it they will not get what they want . If they tell you let's be friends . They mean " friends with benefits ". If you guys break up they were in a relationship before the break up . He is a big narcissit player who uses others for his needs .

Jesus! I am surrounded by them! I have been betrayed a lot, my apartment has often been broken into and I've lost so much. I blame myself, I often refused to trust my instinct even when I felt suspicious and alert. I have been followed around and sometimes managed to shake them off. Some neighbours, co-workers and family are suspects. They shall all have their rewards in due time, it shall not be long.
I've found out that when he's being fake nice, he's hoping for a conversation to happen. If I have that conversation, he will literally suddenly attack me verbally. This could be random name calling out of the blue, false accusations, or belittling. I've contributed to his topic he brought up & was surprised to be attacked on being 'redundant' & always saying this thing 'over & over'. This is clearly not true, since the topic is hardly brought up. I didn't get to finish my thought (as usual) & was interrupted with his nonsensical attack. This has happened so many times it's basically every time we have a seemingly normal conversation, it changes at the drop of a hat into a horrible, demeaning attack! Whenever I see him smiling & talking pleasant, I wonder when it's going to happen. During this conversation? In a few minutes? Hours? Days? The point is that it's not a matter of if, but when. I see an evil snake wearing a mask that smiles. Instead of a voice I hear the hissing of a snake. These kinds of people are incredibly wicked to a high level.

You bought them a house so they will value you for a day maybe two. Men usually in this case may buy their wife a million dollar gift, like a ring, and you know what she still don't give them sex, even after no sex for decades. A wife may also clean the house for her narrcisist man no matter what she does he is still angry with her.
Hard to believe your own parents would mount a vicious smear campaign. Mine did but I see now, it isn't personal. It is just what narcs do when they lose supply. I am no contact. It is bliss but the fallout was awful.

He played fake nice once he realized I was successful at something major without him. Because now he wants to take credit for being there. He was yelling and screaming at me about something else. And then backed tracked to play nice. He’s actually very trivial and shallow. I can see right through his ass.
Omg, just stumbled upon ur video and ik I was to listen. My narc went from complete ahole to a sweetheart overnight a few months back. My gut was telling me not to trust him, but started to a few days ago and after hearing you, I now know not to trust him. He hasn't been voilent with me for several years now, but I've hid some protective gear just in case.
Recently (last few years) mine has the attention span of a moth. She's suddenly super super nice and while I _might_ fall for it I'm too baffled in the moment to react immediately. So bam! 180° turn, screaming, yelling, insulting, ... so I hang up or walk away, depends. Then follows the victim card. Same procedure as last time, Miss Sophie? Same procedure as every time, James! (Only not funny. ... where ... ok, it's got it's own tragicomic humor.)
