I truly believe that the Villains always leave the Hero alive because deep down inside they know the Hero gives them something to do. Something to look forward to. A Purpose. And if they killed that hero then all of that goes away and now it’s not “fun” anymore. And I also believe deep down this is also the reason the Hero never willingly kills the villain. Because it gives HIM Something to do and a Purpose. Who cares how many more innocent people may die in the future just by allowing the villain to live right? So when you think about. The Hero/Villain dynamic is actually pretty sick and the world would be better off if they BOTH Died. 🤷🏽‍♂️
