Young people in Brazil don't just idolize footballers because of their skills. When young kids in Brazil grow up wanting to be footballers they also want the fame, the women, the food and the party lifestyle that goes with it. It's why so many Brazilian players fall into this lifestyle. They grow up with nothing and the see Romario or Ronaldo living a crazy playboy lifestyle and they want that almost as much as they want their skills.
that’s why messi and ronaldo are amazing for the new generation one is tall and has it all but still works hard and disciplined and the other was born with a height deficiency and the smallest on every pitch he played on but the most dominant
@@papalegba6796 Of course. At his peak Romario was the best player in the world. Pato was a flop. Romario didn't actually drink or do drugs though. He just loved to party all night. So that's why he was able to stay world class well up to his mid-late 30's.
@@SonnyK248 yeah Romario liked the women for sure, he was that kind of party guy, not a booze or drugs guy. He was also an incredible marksman, he liked to score in every way 😂
Wild that Pato and Neymar is only 3yrs apart. Feels like a whole different generation. What could have been to see prime Pato and Neymar for Brazil together.
Pato is one of the greatest players who never was… When I saw him at AC Milan I thought “we’re looking at a future all time great striker”… I was very wrong indeed…
Well, no one can blame you because he really did look like he was on his way to great things in the world of football. I'm an AC Milan fan myself, and everyone I knew thought the same thing. A very similar feeling to what we had about Kaka when he arrived.
I'm sure that lifestyle wear off eventually just look at CR7. He had a poor upbringing as well and fell into that lifestyle but disciplined himself into working hard in his mid 20s. Or you could be like Beckham, earn the bag and party the rest of your life
@@Peramiiy ronaldo was always a crazy hard working player he won a balonor by age 23 he was a bit of a playboy when young but he never drank and was always training crazy hard
Pato became world class right off the start, then had attitude problems when he should've dominated. It sucks because he was a menace in his early Milan years.
Videos like this makes you not only remember how insane Pato was but also appreciate the likes of Neymar in the post Ronaldo/Kaka/Dinho era of Brazilian footballers.
Pato should have gone to the World Cup in 2010 alongside Ronaldinho. They were both playing well at AC Milan and would have made the 2010 squad look stronger.
@@muhammedgamer1896Then you have people like Kala who do it the right way and heir career is ruined by injuries. While players who do it the wrong way, never have injuries and their career is instead ruined because of partying.
That ad-commercial was also PERFECT. If I could get a ring made out of an ancient meteorite, tungsten and dinosaur bone - I'd die a happy man. I HAVE TO HAVE THAT. Damn.
a lot of them come from slums where they were expecting to working low pay jobs cleaning streets for their lives, many of them are not bothered about being the best player they want to just enjoy the luxaries they never thought they'd have which i can't blame them for
Make a video on Alberto Spencer ( Highest goal scorer in copa libadedores)..... destroed european champion Real Madrid and Eusebio's Benfica.... unknown legend 🇪🇨
Alexandre Pato was expected to be one of the future legends of football. he was so explosive like Kaka, with Robinho skill set, what a promising talent, it's sad that injury takes away his pace as it's his main weapon. if injuries wouldnt have fucked him over he would have been in the same list as ronaldo ronaldinho messi cr7
Ronaldinho was himself one of the best footballers ever to grace the pitch, amazing talent, skills. But he isn't really that idol material. His bad influences on his youngsters like Pato is a great example for that. Even I choose not to be a big fan of him. Instead players like Cristiano, Messi, Modric, Puyol, Maldini, beckenbauer, Pele, kante, Mane, Kroos, Totti, Buffon can be great inspirations and influences on upcoming talents.
Pato damn what a fantastic player he was. I watched his career since he came to Milan and he was unbelievable. Pato career got destroyed by injuries and also womens sadly. He was supposed to be the next Ronaldo , for me pato is in his prime is better than Mbappe. Only those who watched him know what I’m talking about.
Ronaldinho Ronaldo rohino adriano and the rest but rivaldo was a insecure guy went through so much malnourishment as a child. His bones didn't grow properly his teeth his face were affected so unlike Romario ect he stayed away from chasing woman and was still class playing in Greece his late 30s..
When you look at the 2007 Wonderkid list, you'll notice that there are many wonderkids that never made it to their full potential. It really goes to show how often wonderkids either ruin their careers or turn out to be overhyped dogshitte, especially nowadays that we have wonderkids like Yamal, Palmer, Garnacho etc
Sad thing is Brazilians & South Africans have the same issue on that note... Check the map & you'll see that we On the same line of latitude we share almost same everything... I mean almost everything
Pato could have easily chose the life Kaka is on but the rockstar lifestyle was too much to turn down and that played a part to his slow decline from a top prospect to a journeyman.
Lmao this is worse than saying the earth is flat. Pato never had a chance to even come close to R9. He always was massively overrated and never lived to the hype

Well, now he married the daughter of one of the richest man in Brazil, who died today ( 17/08/2024). I am sure there is a couple of millions coming his way.
I guess 2007 is retro now… damn… Anyway, Pato was a lot of fun while it lasted at Milan. It’s true he really did have just as much hype as Messi and Cristiano. Maybe Rooney as well.
Pato's lifestyle is only considered wrong by Christian prudes. In my opinion, he lived a life every man dreams of: had a lot of fun, made lots of money, and still maintained a pretty decent career in football (soccer). Of course, I’m not talking about committing crimes or being abusive to women, but as far as I know, Pato has never done any of that.
He himserlf today as a Christian talks about how he wasted most of his career man, of course its not a crime to chase woman, but putting this in front of your football career and in this case spirituality too will never be good.
I think it is wrong because he couldn't manage. Dinho had the same lifestyle but won a world cup, champions league, and basically all major trophies known in America and Europe at club level. That's the problem, Pato won almost nothing in comparison
No. Its wrong by every religious standard. Fulfilling your animalistic desires is only something that satanists and atheists promote. They don't believe in God or an afterlife so they don't see any reason to think with their brains rather than their hormones.
hey we dont know each other but i hope ur doing well and I wanna say that GOD still loves u and wants u to be with him all u must do is trust in Jesus (dying for our sins on the cross) and repent of ur sins. GOD loves u more than u can imagine.🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
