@@warikoosir I'm a salaried person started only equity, ETF investment since from 1.5 yrs and my portfolio's returns are almost more than 50%. My purpose of investing is for future perspective for 10-15 yrs. I've no clear such plan for for withdrawal right now. cn u please tell me that whether I need to book a profits ? If yes how? Which strategy should I use ? Quite worried bcz Nifty is at all time high, it's above 25000 I'm ur big fan and following u since 1.5 yrs rather started my share market journey after watching ur valuable videos. i don't understand what profit will remain in our hands after paying 10% of tax. 😕 annual increment is 10% and tax on withdrawal is also 10% then the money remains the same in our hand. it's same as an FD 😕

Thank you so much you always come up with Great things. But after watching this video I have two questions 1. Can you please help me out that how can we withdraw funds from Smallcase. 2. As you told that after 10 years if we had almost 15 lakhs in account and we withdrawn all the funds for the marriage then after that our Investment will be Zero, no compounding as we have sold all of our shares for the 1 goal. After that we need to start from the beginning? Please show some light on this one.

LTCG 10% on profits earned from equities but no need to pay tax on initial 1 lakh amount of profit in that particular financial year. So for example: if you earn a profit of Rs. 80,000 in a particular financial year, no LTCG but the profit is say 1,50,000 then initial 1,00,000 amount of profit , no tax and rest 50,000 pay 10% tax that is ata. 5000.

I didn't get the 3rd point in the exit strategy. When you reach a point you realise that you have not reached your goal amount you can't go on the past to fix things. Secondly the premise that the market will behave the same way for next so many years may be totally wrong. Lastly after you pass the 1 year mark for getting benefit of ltcg which indicator will tell you that the market is high to sell. Can I not look at something like pe ratio and then decide to book profit and then reinvest?

Dear Ankur Sir, In the month of June-2021, I have gone through this 'investment & exit planning'. but the way you explain, in this video is awesome. I will change in my planning schedule. & Sir tell me if I am investing in different different ways, like EPF, Sukanya samruddhi(POST), ULIP based policies,(when I don't know about MF), LIC policy, how to achieve my target of annually 27-30% increments? If you are interested and enthusiastic about analysing company's fundamentals and financial reports then you can do your research and invest in individual stocks. If not, then let someone else(Mutual fund manager) take over that task in which case you can check the mutual fund's past record and investments and select whichever you feel is good for you. For any capital which you might need in the short term(Less than 3 years), it's recommended to go for debt mutual funds which are of several types, the suitable one depends on the tenure of your short term need. For the capital which you'll need in the long term(more than 3 years) you can go for equity mutual funds which also has several types depending on your risk appetite.
