Fortress is weak vs acid crawlers. A combination of them and storms/melters is a good counter to fortress spam. Works at least most of the time :D

tbh, i think when the fortress with heavy armor gets lvl 2 so early, there is nothing left to do for the enemy. its pretty much gg. Thats 6 level 1 Fortresses worth of HP

I love the various combos you can do for extra value like vulcan summons -> marksman summons -> fangs or in your case Fortress (Guardian for those that change their name) -> fangs It doesn't always make sense but it does feel good getting that value

Just want to point out that Parasitic Ammo depending on the situation can absolutely massacre an opponent. You put it on a carrying unit which gets a lot of kills and it will wreck your oponent especially if he got lots of phonix or marksman. Try it out.

mass artillery ,with some arclights if the dude is playing small stuff to distract your artillery also some melting points in combination and you have an easy time you have to remove the stuff that distract your artillery and maybe recruit the artillery one level higher straight away

Fang Effective against: Marksman, Steel Ball, Phoenix, Melting Point. Weak against: Vulcan, Rhino, Mustang, Archlight, Stormcaller. Fortress Effective against: Archlight, Rhino, Sledgehammer Weak against: Melting Point, Steel Ball, Phoenix

Fang+ignite crush a rhino and fortress+air rockets are pretty strong against phoenix So it's not only a good mix. With the right upgrades they support each other very well. I personally really like using steel balls with mechanical division to distract storm caller, which are an obvious weakness of this combination.

I'm mostly clueless about this game and what units are good together, so take this with several grains of salt: What if you go Fangs and Wasps into Fortress and Overlord? Set up kind of far back, and spawn just a bunch of upgraded Fangs and Wasps as you walk/fly in. Again, I don't know how it functions compositionally... It just feels like you could get a heavy numerical advantage, or rather have access to way more units than your resources can actually buy this way. Are there any other big units that spawn little guys? 😅

Vulcan can spawn Snipers, which then spawn Fangs if you get the upgrade on Snipers (both spawns are a one time thing at the start of the round). Melting Point can spawn Crawlers. It's fun and has their own opportunity cost/counters. For one, I'm not sure where the xp gained by spawned units ultimately end up, but the spawned units definitely give their killer(s) xp.
