It changed my life, healed pneumonia, stopped pre-diabetes symptoms, healing varicose veins and I take it with K2-M4 (for heart) & M7 (for arteries), it is reversing arterial sclerosis AND am losing weight, probably cause my arteries are unblocking so liver will heal. Kidneys have begun to periodically ache after 3 months on 25,000IUs and now having symptoms of viral attack so it's time to halve my dose to 15,000IUs a week many thanks for the advice I didn't know the correlation of viral attack with too much vita D. Important to know so we can know when to begin reducing our intake to a maintenance dose.

K2 deals with pulling calcium from soft tissue and putting into bone. Critical to take K2 if taking high dose D3.) (Make sure it is D3.) Ratio, 250 mcg D3 to 100 mcg K2. (10,000 IU = 250mcg). Research for yourself. (not K or K1: must be K2). (K2 is not potassium).

Thank you! I love your videos and have been binge watching them, trying to find out why I feel like I'm closing in on death. I just removed the D3+K2 supplement from my weekly supplement boxes that I fill every week. I put them back in the bottle and I'm going to stop for awhile and see if it helps. I used to take a 5000IU twice a day, morning and evening but recently went down to just one in the morning since its summer and I've been getting more sun lately. From your videos I have come to the conclusion that I have low stomach acid. I don't have any of the symptoms of slow thick bile though. So I just bought Pure Encapsulations Digestive Enzymes Ultra with (500mg) Betaine HCL. I've been taking it for about 3 days now. I hope it makes me feel better soon.

@KickItNaturally
@KickItNaturally Год назад
i agree. On a PPI a person can't acidify their food properly and break down protein and that can affect a variety of pH levels in the body. A urine pH of 8.5 can be quite problematic so great job getting that corrected. With a urine pH of 8.5, that dose of vitamin D could have been magnifying problems, but I would not expect that dose to cause a urine pH to go that high by itself. And your current urine pH seems to indicate it's currently a good dose for you if we're just looking at urine pH. and great job eliminating the need for a PPI. Love to hear those stories.

You are correct, I have reduced my initial D3 dose to 1000IUs a week with K2 M4 + M7 double dose daily, it has been healing my pre-diabetes symptoms and unblocking arteries, restoring pancreas, liver, kidney function and heart. The K2-M4 for heart & M7 for arteries are vital with D3 as is magnesium, citrate is the one I use with mag oxide if I am irregular, but I have increased the daily dose which has been a game changer too, its restoring tissue (muscle etc.) flexibility and enzyme production at age 60.

@@KickItNaturally Yes, I took high doses for 3 months till I reached saturation point (I began to stink) from the calcium. I then stopped the D3 and took double doses of K2M4 & M7, magnesium and Epsom salts baths once or twice a week till the reaction died down took 3 weeks. Now I am on 1000IU D3 a day, may go up to 10,000IUs a week but am monitoring cause I want to return to the pool to do laps an hour a day in summer season 8 months, Brisbane, Aus, is sub-tropical hot. So I think I will keep the dose low, no more than 10,000IUs a week but the K2 high, 3 capsules (regular doses) a day. Have noticed it slightly lowered the blood pressure unblocking everything, so I'm also on multi-trace mineral sup. The small white spots on my arms are fading (immune) because of the D3 and the fine veins in the legs are fading too because of the K2, praise Jesus and I am restoring my thymus with Colostrum lozenges to dissolve in the mouth (growth hormone) that has worked amazingly well too. The Colostrum and K2 work fairly quickly within weeks, but the D3 will take months even on high doses doesn't make it work faster. Should I test for calcium levels in my blood before upping my Vitamin D? I take MyKind’s vegan D3 made from lichen. It comes in 2000 iu tablets but I only take 500 iu a day as I don’t know exactly what it is doing for me. I eat plenty of kale and spinach for Vit K. My Vit D levels are very low and the 500 iu a day isn’t making it higher. Any suggestions? Also if you look at Okinawan people who are the longest living people in the world. They do not take Vit D. They eat plenty of seafood. The weather there is not sunshine all year round either. It rains a ton there. I grew up there so I know! I truly wonder if the Vit D craze is a fad.
@KickItNaturally
@KickItNaturally Год назад
I don't view it as a fad, as much as just a mistake. Testing blood calcium can also be a little misleading since the body will make adjustments to make the blood where it wants it to be and then other areas can be going wrong. That is why we suggest testing the things like urine pH like we talk about in this video. You also want to know where your fasting blood sugar is, because if blood sugar is high, that will be the reason that vitamin d levels are low.

Erythritol makes many people very sick and during the T administration the warning label that had always been prominently displayed on the FRONT of the package dusappeared aand I ate something that contained it and got extremely sick. I went to the hospital but no reason for the illness was found. Later, I discovered that the warning label I had relied on all my life was gone and all sorts of sweeteners containing erythritol did not have that labeling - like Swerve for instance. Berg and lots of other people began pushing it on their keto desserts channels on youTube. Then I saw that his own son is not a big fan of his and through the son, discovered he is also a scientologist. I d not care whst piritual path someone follows as long as they do no harm so that is not important to me, but pushing a product hat is harmful is wrong in my opinion. Berg is by far not the only RU-vidr who was doing this - their were many others. Personally I use stevia which is a natural herb and it works well for me. On the other hand - I did learn aa great deal from Berg over the years, that has made me healthier and still very strong at 79.

RE-visiting this video in regards to the immune system. So is that why the coimbra protocol works? The mega doses of vitamin D pull the calcium out of the tissues and then the inflammatory condition improves. But once the calcium comes back in again the symptoms might return. Though I do know of one person who has been free of psoriasis for 8 yrs as long as she maintains about 10,000 IUs vitamin D, 100 mcg K2, and magnesium. She did the mega dosing only for 6 weeks to pull the calcium out of the tissues. It is also recommended to avoid dairy and calcium supplements so as not to cause high blood calcium. And the kidneys need to be protected during the 40,000 IUs as they will be dumping calcium. But what would you do to solve a body wide condition such as psoriasis? I have one patch in my groin for 6 yrs, its mostly just annoying and itchy, but recently after a strep infection I got a few more spots, Dr Ely believes strep causes psoriasis, so that explains why mega dosing vitamin D cures the patches because the immune system isn't over reacting to the infection anymore. I will be trying out BLIS K12 which is a good strep bacteria to help counteract the strep infection in my body. But it is very tempting to try the mega dosing. Just don't want to mess up my already low breath rate.
@KickItNaturally
@KickItNaturally Год назад
Yeah, @JanelleH , that's how I view it. The psoriasis, like most autoimmune issues is a response from the immune system. So if you turn off the immune system, you turn off that response. But guess what, you also just turned off the immune system. Oops. The best comparison is how people use red rice yeast extract to lower their cholesterol naturally. Well, red rice yeast extract restricts liver function and the liver makes our cholesterol. So they see that number go down, but they don't realize they didn't really correct the problem. They just turned off the ability for their liver to function correctly. That doesn't mean that maybe there isn't some other mechanism with high dose vitamin d that I don't understand, this is just my take on it. But with all the warnings they give you about watch out for all the calcium the body is going to pull from your bones, and pee out and cause kidney trouble, it sure seems like they are agreeing with me and just choosing to do it anyway. I think they are just viewing the autoimmune issue as an immune system that isn't working correctly so just give the body more vitamin D to get it to work. But instead, they are just turning off the immune system and assuming they did the right thing since the symptom stopped.
@inchristalone25
@inchristalone25 Год назад
@@KickItNaturally Thanks for that explanation. I am really trying to understand . I did a search on whether vitamin D pulls calcium from other tissues besides bone and couldn't find anything. I did hear someone say they are pulling the excess calcium out of the skin, but I can't find any proof of that. In fact I am finding the exact opposite happens, that too much vitamin D calcifies soft tissues. It's necessary to absorb calcium but too much brings too much calcium into the bloodstream which leaves deposits in the arteries and soft tissues. So I am curious where did you get the information that vit D pulls the calcium and shuts down the immune system?
@KickItNaturally
@KickItNaturally Год назад
As I mention in a lot of videos, we learned this from Carey Reams. He's one of the founding fathers of understanding the terrain of the body. And you might just be looking at the info you're finding a little sideways. The reason the excess vitamin D causes calcification is because the D pulls the calcium out of tissues and places where it should be and into the bloodstream, and then that calcium can get dropped in the wrong places and that forms the calcification.

I see. Well, it's very common for someone to be told to take 5,000 - 10,000 iu or more per day. For most people, that is very high and can often be problematic due to what we explain in this video. Hope that helps. That doesn't mean those levels are never appropriate. They just don't seem to be for most people.

@@KickItNaturally Thanks. I agree that "correct" dosages must be determined for each individual metabolism. In that effort it is helpful to have an upper upper limit to start the process.

right, it can depend on a lot of factors, but it's pretty rare that I have a client that would be taking more than 2000 iu per day. Our free digestion course can show you how to look at your body chemistry to get a better idea of the supplements and such that would be best for your unique chemistry. You can find that free course here: kickitnaturally.com/course Let us know how it goes.

8:16 - so, the urine test.. if ph is too high, does that mean vit d2? d3? im hearing there is a difference in the 2 and that d3 is better, so, does it mean any vit d has to be cut back?

Correct. Any vitamin d. But yes, I do prefer d3.

me again, also, what is considered “ a lot of vit d” and again, are we talking d2, d3? this if a great topic so thank you for this as my dr used a very old scoring system, when she took my blood test.. i had to ask for her to include vit d levels.. she said it was just a tad high. but then i heard that now days, vit d3 at least, needs to be higher than first thought.

I really can't give a number, because it depends on all those factors I talked about in this video. But it's pretty rare that I have a client take more than 2,000-3,000 IU a day. From my experience, most clients don't even need that much.

@@KickItNaturally ok, good to know. i had been hearing that the old ranges for vit d are outdated and should be higher, so i dont know what to believe. i was taking just 2500 per day, but then took the whole pill, 5,000. it put my labs just a tad over the max value, but again, thats old ranges from back in the day. but i may cut them back to 2500. im out in the sun a lot when its nice out, doing yard work, getting that vit d then, but now that its winter, not out that much, so maybe 5,000 is good. not sure, but thx for all the info and all your videos. :-)

Yeah, they have also changed ranges on cholesterol and such too. they to this because they view it like, well, we are bringing down the cholesterol number, but people are still having heart attacks, so we must need to bring it down even further. They don't stop to think that there may be other issues causing the heart attacks and it's not just about the number. Same idea with vitamin D. they feel like it should osteoporosis, so when it doesn't, we must just need more.

Can too much vitamin d3 cause frequent urination at night even when taking k2. I am currently taking 10kiu d3 and 200mcg of k2. Previous dose for months was 40kiu and 400mcg k2 pushed my level of vitamin d 182.1ng/ml Peeing 6 times a night basically every hour. I am doing your digest course but have not gotten to the answer of my problem. More than likely I leave heavy toward the anabolic state. I need to find something to fix this as I have bad insomnia on top of it. Thanks for any quick tips I can implement immediately 😢

I tried supplemental vit d at 1,000iu for very very short time and all my muscles get very tight. Going to try a vit d lamp instead. I like pancake syrup on my pancakes I still follow the ice cream truck but the prices are insane. Love how TC kicks those squirrels in the nuts.

Yeah, you may need to try a smaller dose, but then also use one of those tools to help push calcium down to the right place. Let us know how it goes.

Vit d depletes potassium so explains the tightness.

HI Partha, there are a lot of people who feel that is a good range. But sometimes it can be more about how the vitamin d is affecting calcium. I'd be interested in knowing what your urine pH was with your blood tests at that level. Always fun to look at different correlations.

@@partharoy6077 That's a pretty good range for most folks. If you get low tissues calcium symptoms with a urine pH at that rate, you may need to take steps to bring it down. But if you're not having any symptoms, it's probably pretty good.

@@KickItNaturally Sorry my brain fog causes me to forget my questions. I was curious if supplementing with calcium along with D3 could prevent it from taking it from soft tissue and bones and depositing it in blood stream. That way it utilizes the calcium that is available? Or is that still a problem since it will still have to deposit it in the blood. Sorry if I'm not understanding it fully.
