I wanted to know something. Lets say u are riding in 4th gear on an completely empty straight road. u dont want to change gear and maintain the speed at 4th gear. But at 4th gear u accelerate up and accelerate down several times. So when using acceleration do u use half clutch or not when accelerating down and up to avoid slight jerking. I see 2 types of riders some use half clutch in this situation and some prefer not using the clutch. Generally i like using clutch to avoid even slighest of jerking.so just wanted to know.

Aap jo jerk ke bare mein bol rahe ho yeh hota hain jab aap high speed pein down shift karte ho. Iska solution half clutch nehi hain.jo technique kam hata hain use rev matching kahete hain.jab bhi high speed pein downshift karoge clutch press karke 30 to 40% throttle dena fir clutch release karo ,jerk nehi hoga.

Thank You Baban for replying I got your question Dipesh.. The problem you have asked me that I face everyday but here you don't need to press clutch of half clutch this called throttle control. Here you need to control your throttle with just only that you can slow the speed little bit but according to gear not less then that for example you're riding on 4th gear at 55kph and then you just start releasing your throttle without even holding your clutch your speed decrease to 45kph (don't go below 40 because you'll get jerk, same for 3rd gear not less than 30kph) then again you can start accelerating... so this was the problem ,last week i was passing downhill type road , speed was around 60-65 , had full clutch pressed , saw traffic ahead so i pressed rear and front both break , but bike didnt went slow fast , so had to hard press front break at the very end to stop it right behind a car .... so downhill situation - full clutch not safe

@PraksBikersGuide Sir I have a question ? @ 1:31 your speed was reduced to 42 kmh, but you did not downshifted to 4th gear and continue riding in 5th gear @ 3000 rpm. Then you just increased your throttle to increase speed without downshifting. Q1) Doing this practice is safe for motorcycle clutch plates, sprocket set and gears or engine itself ?

Bike konsa hai aapke pass? 15-20 mins ka break lo har 100-120kms me and try karo cadbury, chocolate, coffee, cold drinks jaise chije carry karo ride mat khana usse nind aayega.. Jaldi niklo subah and 9-10 baje ke bich me break le kar ruk jao dhup me jyada bike mat chalao fir 4pm ko start karo and 7-8 baje tak chalao raat me mat chalao risky hai. Good luck and ride safe.

Koi bhi bike par ja sakte ho.. 100-150cc time jyada lagega and speed kam hoga(Like aapko 5-6 hour lagega 300kms jane main) Breaks 50-100kms main lagega.. 200cc aap achi speed se chala sakte ho(Like aapko 4-5 hours lagenge) 300-400cc par aapko 3-4 hours without break chala sakte ho..

Sir, your bike is 150cc and it can reach {50 km/h in 4th gear @4000 rpm}. So, you shift from 4th to 5th gear at 50 km/h. But, I have 125cc bike and it can only reach {40km/h in 4th gear @4000 rpm} and {50km/h in 4th gear @5000 rpm}. So, can I shift my gear from 4th to 5th at 40 km/h or I have have to rev my bike to 5000 rpm to gain 50 km/h speed and then shift gear from 4th to 5th? Reply Please! @PraksBikersGuide

Your motorcycle will jerk if you do that try to press and hold acceleration lightly and change after 25kph..
