Why use Panel Lights?
Panel lights have become super popular and for good reason.
These PavoSlim's from ‪@NanliteGlobal‬ are super thin, lightweight and nice and quick to put up.
As well as being full colour with a great effects library, they serve as a fantastic solution to a lot of creative and technical filming demands.
This commercial we shot in a bathroom is a perfect example of what makes these lights so good.

These lights are pretty solid but man are they expensive. The 240 B pavoslim is around 1200$ USD for the kit with eggcrate and softbox.

I think they're fairly well priced given they're full RGB and super bright. What are you comparing them to? :)

Big problem is the non detaching power cable , not great for transport and an accident just waiting to happen .

Non-detatching power cable? You mean from the actual panel? One of the great things about these lights is actually how easy they are to store, the cases they come with are awesome!

@@kitherco Yeah but its going to bend , get bashed , much better if they design one that unplugs from the light , its going to cost more but rental houses might buy them . Every other review Ive seen mentions this as a con .

@@robinprobyn1971 Interesting! As a production company, I can't see this being an issue for us at all! I've actually been using these for a few months and didn't even consider this being a problem. Also our local hire houses have jumped on board with these lights and love them! I can see where you're coming from though, I'll let you know if it's starts to show signs of wear in that area, but from the use we've given them so far they're like new.
