The Jack doctor theory I think has largely been debunked now. It’s based on some of the first autopsy reports on Mary Anne Nichols. Most of the later autopsies have the attending doctor state they believe the killer had incredibly limited medical knowledge. The main evidence in support of the doctor theory was the incredible speed in which the killer removed organs IN THE DARK! The main theory is that Jack had some sort of anatomical knowledge as a butcher or a similar profession. Which would explain both the skill with a knife and the speed

One thing I’d like to point out is the Aaron Kosminski in the video is likely not the one they accused of being Jack the Ripper. Instead Aaron was probably confused with “David Cohen” who’s real name was Nathan Kosminski. Nathan was described as violently anti-social and suffered from syphilis. He was sent to a mental asylum about a month after the last murder.

I think the key is that last murder related to Jack, it seems like such an odd trendbreaker. Significantly younger, and found inside her home. Her murder may be completely detached from Jack the Ripper, as he killed older women who were prostitutes and had surgical precision when messing with the body. It just doesnt line up on that last one.

I do agree but multiple of them had their organs mutilated and throats slashed deeply, so it's possible because he was inside he just went to town on her. Her age does seem to break the trend though. Imo Charles Cross seems the most likely but Tumblety leaving for America and the killings ending also seems plausible (edit: he was apparently 55 during the killings, a bit too old by the descriptions of Jack).

It makes sense after Elizabeth Stride, the third victim. Jack was interrupted and almost caught, and only escapes due to a complete fluke of luck; the horse stopping and the man deciding to check the body rather than check the alley where Jack must have been hiding. The absolute brutality then ennacted on Eddowes, the fourth victim, shows a man who is frustrated at not being able to exercise his urges. Catherine Eddowes was also murdered technically out of the jurisdiction of the City of London police, who covered the other murders (as I recall), and was instead under the jurisdiction of the MET. The distance and the strange change suggest a killer who is escalating in brutality, but taking more steps not to get caught. Mary Jane Kelly then makes sense. Still a prositute Owns a house Away from the streets where police and vigilantes were out looking for him. Kelly gave Jack the ability to escalate the brutality and reduce the chance of getting caught.

In 1888 Charles Lechmere would have been 41, which means he wouldn’t have been too old to be the killer, but, of course, this is just a theory.

I think you should watch a video of the "Monster of Florence" it's similar to Jack's story, it is maybe the most infamous serial killer in italy and the story is very particular and misterious. Also the location of the book of Hannibal Lecter was inspired by the this case. While preparing the book, Thomas Harris traveled to Italy and was present at the trial of the main suspect, Pietro Pacciani, where he was seen taking notes.

If you look at the photos, you actually notice a progression in violence. There is theory that jack the ripper was increasing the violence to have a more arousal. Sorta like junkies and using higher dose for same effect, it could be the same thing.

There's a physiological truth about the diffusion of responsibility. It's very possible that people heard the murder from the windows, and believed other people would report it, resulting in nobody commiting to a course of action.

Jack the Ripper seemed to have a massive ego. Instead of being horrified of him in the press, they should've ridiculed him for being the luckiest killer ever, and that his murders were spontaneous and unplanned, only able to get away with the murders on pure dumb luck and panic. He might've gotten angry at the papers for painting him as a lucky idiot and come forward in some way saying that every murder was perfectly planned. The likeliness of him coming forward is incredibly low though, and this could've backfired in some way. I'm stupid lol

I think Charles Cross is most likely him as well, though Tumblety leaving for America and the killings stopping seems plausible too. Kosminsky I'm not too sure of, disregarding the blood DNA thing, his doctor said it was definitely him, but why wouldn't he have him arrested if that was the case.

I was always under the impression that it was Charles Cross, AKA, Allen Cross I believe. His work routes put him at all the locations at the right times. Additionally the murders outside of white chapel that took place on the weekends were along the routes to where his daughter and mother lived. He worked as a butcher making any blood found on him look normal. This also gave him the precision needed to butcher the victims. There is a documentary on this that covers it better.

@@porucznikfachowca Man I really do like that kind of idea. We already do have an "edgy" mod (TNO), so a Necrocracy type of Britain under Jack the Ripper could work. The focus tree could be incredibly expansive, with certain branches resulting in either fulfilling Jack the Ripper's ultimate dream of "cleansing the world" and "ripping apart the enemies" after taking pretty much all the nations. National Spirits could range from something like "Resurrected Evil" which decreases stability, but skyrockets political power gain and provides insane buffs to offensive abilities on enemy core states. Another could be "Dark Age?", providing war support bonuses, recruitable population increase by 5%, and finally, the most broken of all; "Ripping Our Enemies", which will decrease resistance growth by -60% in occupied states- BUT- population over time will decrease until they become core states.

Kozminski would have been 22 or 23 during the murders, meaning that he was close to the right age and he had a small or fair mustache, matching description by some witnesses.

The Fate anime had a couple good ahistorical takes on Jack the Ripper. There's 3 "entities" known as Jack the Ripper, one is a destitute homeless little girl, who killed the women due to them being prostitutes and bringing more children without mothers, like herself, into the world. The second was the typical depiction of Jack the Ripper, a wealthy doctor and businessman with a stovetop hat, and large black coat, who killed for purely satisfying his urges and his fascination and curiosity of the human body, he felt no one would miss a couple of prostitutes'. And last but certaintly not least, the third and final version, "The Idea of Jack The Ripper" a formless, unknowable shadow, that kills for seemingly no reason at all, it inhabits an entire city at once, and causes the gruesome deaths of any woman who find themselves outside on a foggy night. It can't be heard, seen, or felt other than by the gruesome murders themselves.

I get why you watch them on stream but im not a big fan of you posting the reactions of them on youtube. Even though the viewers are definitely missing pieces of the original video by far the most important bits are shown. To me it just feels unnesecary to post the reaction vids to youtube
