It technically does increase his power level since power level isn't the calculation of raw power, it's how well someone can use that power too. It takes in account weapons, technique, and all. Ultra Instinct doesn't just allow you to dodge faster, it allows you to FIGHT faster. Every movement you make is sudden and at its highest speed. And heightened speed also means higher power level, so yes it is a power boost. Now stack it on Evolution Blue.
It wasn't Mastered Ultra Instinct, it was only the Omin version and as we saw in the Tournament of Power, Mastered Ultra Insticnt is leaps and bounds more powerful than the Omin version

You do understand that UI Goku pre MUI is above SSB kaioken X 20 Genki Damma. And that SSG Goku in the manga is casually universal, and in the anime in base Goku is casually universal. And Xenoverse Goku is multiversal, and SSB goku scales to that in this NON CANON SHOW!!!!

And way different than trying to control chi while stationary. Not necessarily more difficult! Actually it is probably significantly easier to control chi at higher speeds and/or acceleration levels but without any doubt it is way tRiPpIeR and DiFfErEnT.
If Ui or Mui was a power boost then explain dragon ball super season3 episode 140 through 143 of showcasing the tap into Mui and say its not a power boost

Saying it doesn't give a power boost makes no sense. We've seen goku at full power get beaten up by jiren so it doesn't make any sense to say that he can now fight jiren with ultra instinct when it doesn't boost power right after get mauled in blue just cause he can dodge better
This was U.I omen, not mastered. I think there is a good reason for that, since mastered U.I is very powerful, i think it's kept as Goku's trumpcard like during the Universal Tournament Arc against Jiren.
Theirs so many arguments about "Mastered" U.I not even being a thing. I got caught up in another comment section talking about this. Don't be surprised if someone comes in "knowing" everything.
Ultra Instinct, as we know, is not a form. It is a technique. We've all seen tho the difference between Omen and Fully Mastered UI. If goku had the ability to handle the power of the whole universe with Omen, then I'm pretty sure It's gonna be with ease once he unlocks (Fully Mastered) Ultra Instinct

He did master the technique but he isn't a god , do you remember what happened in ep 130-131? Mastered ultra instinct was too Godly for Goku and that's why it just dissapeared and left goku fatigued.He is not using the mastered Ultra instinct because he is still not a god to fully control it and never make it dissapear
The point of his training was to be able to to “tap” into ultra instinct not utilize and completely master it at full power like bruh one session with the grand priest isn’t gonna just magically get goku to be at his full potential with no side effects lol

What a lot of people don’t understand is that ultra instinct is just goku being able to move without hesitation, it’s entirely different to a simple transformation the only reason he gains a power boots it because he’s using divine ki and he’s using his power with no wasted effort it’s just gokus current power being used the best way it can be
Well, for one he wasn't in Mastered, he's still got the black hair. I doubt Goku will ever have a legitimate final transformation anyway, but that's a pretty big oversight.
But guys you need to think about the WHIS statement in DBS grandpriests Mastered in UI and also they have overwillming next level of transformation. So what it implies that hurts body???? There is nothing at this level. Goku must have some hidden next level power. From the beguning of DBZ TO DBS goku never uses his full power. He tests this limits from the initial start. He use next level once he know this level is not enough to beat the opponent . May be he does the same
I think what is needed to happen is Goku being able to fuse Ultra Instinct with his super saiyan forms. Giving him perfect martial arts and power boost.

Get this, Goku was able to shatter the power of a whole universe, this means Goku has enough power to destroy universes and could actually become a God Of Destruction but that's not DBS.
The complete version of ui is the one that weis has in which she can use it in her full power in her base and it takes no energy, presumably this could be stacked with other forms leading to ussjbui
He is not using MUI because in a minute it will just drain Goku completely like in dragon ball super, Mastered ultra instinct was too much for a mortal body and it simply faded and left goku drained and fatigued.
Ad3l1N well it’s easy to say that Hearts put the same amount of force on him as Jiren. The fact that Goku was still able to stand and Jiren wasn’t is unbelievable
I think Ultra Instinct is good, it's just that Goku hasn't completely mastered it yet. In one battle he went from being completely defensive to being both defensive and offensive. I think it's when he makes the full transformation with the silver hair that his power increases significantly. He doesn't quite have the stamina to hold it, which means he has more tests to endure.
It does sound funny lol but it makes sence.a god at berrus level power can easily destroy a universe so the power of a universe is too much for this technique,but berrus is stronger than that.if berrus ever gets serious against goku,itll take more than mastered ultra instinct to beat him.more than the power of a universe.
tbh ya if anything it's gonna be like the kioken but for technique and goku is probably gonna at some point intergrade it into his base form and then be able to stack ssb + kkx20 on it or some bs like that
In Super, he clearly got a big power boost while in ultra instinct, but I recognize his raw power itself may not have been that of jiren, he was just so much more technical
I’ve always looked at Ultra Instinct Sign as 70% technique & 30% attack increase. Being able to dodge any threats or attack doesn’t mean that you’re personal power is ridiculously high. In that state Goku just changes his fighting style to a more pressure point/ dodge/ counter style versus his standard attack, defend, instant transmission dodge style. Now MUI... that’s a different story
What people don’t understand is that while the guy in glasses threw the crystal he was also using his ability to increase the gravity of one person to extreme levels, an ability you earlier see paralyze jiren, so goku was not only standing up to this ability that forced jiren to his knees but he was also pushing back this crystal
