The name gives it away... all the angels are named after alcoholic beverages Whis-whiskey...korn-japanese alcohol... Mojito, cognac, cuckatail... the name MEERUS resembles Merus, which is a japanese alcohol as well... this guy is definitely an angel
With everything thats going in with the english voice actors and vic mignona suing Funimation they can coninue the japanese for dbs but as of english its gunna be a long while.

Finally, some diversions between Goku and Vegata. All these unique techniques are much more exciting than just power levels that has been the only thing that matters since DBZ started.
Merus is probably an Angel of one of the universe that got erased. Since his universe got erased, he has no universe to watch to, so instead he joined the galactic patrol incognito. That would explain why he didn't participate in the TOP , and also, hes not bound to any universe. When Zeno erased the universes, everything was wiped out, exept their angels. Also, they said UI was really hard to master and no mortal have attein it. And Merus knows a bit too much about UI and seems quite wise for a mortal. Just like an Angel.
To be fair, Goku was also on Yardrat to better understand his super sayian form. With that in mind, plus Vegeta’s determination, I don’t think it will take Vegeta long to learn spirit control.
Given how Vegeta has learned things formerly thought of as un-learn-able - like suddenly having god Ki, controling an uncontrollable state of mind (Oozaru) and even improving the SSB form, I think he will learn quite a bit from them. Also he has a similar understanding of Ki like Goku does, if not more so - while Goku changes Ki forms (seen with his variable uses of it), Vegeta more so controls his own Ki, making him stronger (his SSB version), buffer (Super Vegeta, what imho counts as a semi-transformation) and even manipulating his Ki to withstand Toppos Hakai Energy. He already knows how it feels to be teleportated (by Goku) and how to increase his size (Oozaru), so I guess this increases his learning as well. The interesting part is, how the yardratian giant and split form interracts with one's ability to fight. Do increments in size or number lower speed and power, like Piccolos giant form and Tiens multiform technique, respectively? Or do they really make clones with the full strength with this? Maybe Vegeta coulddo everything at once - create an group of himself (his ego clearly is enough for all of them), everyone teleporting like crazy and attacking from everywhere, while using the different advantages of smaller and bigger forms ... you know, when Vegeta chooses someone to be his mentor, he does this for reasons. And the benefit will be awesome, 'cause he's Vegeta - the Prince of ALL (now 3) saiyans!
as cool as 100 full strength Vegeta's would be. I believe if he does get any form of copies or cloning, it will be very similar to most other cloning abilities. Even in Dragon Ball, the laws of equivalent exchange exist. He will most likely have to portion his power out, but gaining improved control, he will most likely be very good at it. I don't think he will get some beyond broken ability but he will for sure be able to fit his mantra of improving his base form and base control, Vegeta almost always trains in his base form because he understands that the transformations are multipliers of his normal body. I still want a scene of 100+ Vegeta's using final flash or big bang... that would be really cool lol
@@dantuu1648 since they are the favorites of most fans, we get more and more saiyans. Goku Vegeta Broly Tarble as full blooded, Gohan Goten Trunks FutureTrunks Bulla as halflings and Pan a quarter saiyan. I quite expect DBS to introduce even more, like or did with Monaito. Heck, they could even roll with some fan service and let those saiyans explore their roots by visiting the ancient saiyans in hell. Saiyans fighting demons would be a banger!
I honestly wish we’d get a special of goku learning from him after namek blew up. There should be a gag where the elder shows goku spirit control by making tons of copies of himself, but then goku does after image technique while in ssj and is so fast he actually tricks the guy into believing he already mastered spirit control. So they just move onto instant transmission. Haha
I like his videos I also like 1h videos or so for when I'm working out or doing stuff around the house or something like that, but these 5min videos are great for when you're just taking a small break from whatever you're doing Anyway, have a great day man

If you notice too, merus has the same stance in the H.T.C as whis when he was training goku and vegeta and teaching them about letting their bodies move independently of the body

Vegeta will learn spirit control way faster then goku did. He already has extensive training on spirit control do to ss red and blue so vegeta will have a huge learning curve compared to base ss goku. Vegeta should be able to master spirit control much quicker. I give him 3 months to a half of a year. On top of that vegeta is way more dedicated to training then anyone in dragonball.
Doesn't matter if super is back or not, this man has always had like 4-5 minute videos even with super being in its prime, that's just his style of making videos.
Short, concise and to the point is much better than those that lasts for 15 minutes and is about nothing. There has obviously been more effort put in Expertgamerz vids. That is why he is the best DB youtuber.
Yo ExperGamez my man, loving your vids always clean, informative and entertaining, however, Merus's skin is more purple than light powder blue like that of the angels. Legit tho still think there's some merit to your theory. Sorry to nitpick, big fan of your work. 8)
Image this you know when the universe gets destroyed the angels don’t suffer right so when universe 13-18 got destroyed mirrors could actually be an angel in that universe but since he had no where to go he joined the galactic patrol
Random Gamer, but it was also stated that the angels become non functional a.k.a they no longer remain as strong as they used to be,so its unlikely that meerus is that strong if he was a former angel....
However,I kind of have a continuation to your theory- Maybe since 17 wished back all the universes,so universes 13-18 also returned back,along with their gods,and hence,the angels got back their powers.....Who knows,we can all just make theories😁😇

Calling it now Vegeta is gonna learn some other technique that goku doesnt have. Might be the clone thing but tien already does that. Gigantification isnt great piccolo and oozarus do that. I'm betting hes going to learn the spirit control or whatever and find something that suits him

So Goku is once again taking the lead(to be expected) but at least it finally looks like Vegeta is becoming a proper support class/type instead of being the rival who can never catch up. This is just more fuel to the fire of Vegeta becoming a GoD and Goku becoming his angel?

I think that if vegeta can control his ki like Goku his potential just opens cuz vegeta's rage gets in the way of better transformation since when u calmly transform it feels like they mastered the transformation and ready for the next step
