When We Are Lonely - Dr. Charles Stanley 

even after death he's touching people's lives.

My husband died a year and a half ago and I am lonely. Charles Stanley has helped me so much. I know God is with me, but as a human I am weak and long for my mate.

My heart broke when Charles Stanley died. I cried all day long. I had been backslidden for a few years when i heard one of his messsages and becausecof thst, i came back to the Lord

I’m lonely with people around. I ask for Jesus Christ to surround me with his presence and peace.

I miss my family. But this I do know my best friend my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is always with me. 🙏🏽

I took care of my mother in the house with me for 17yrs. She passed away in 2021. I have no children and I sometimes feel lonely. The Lord said that he will never leave me so that's what keeps me going. Thank God that I can still hear the lessons of Dr. Stanley's messages on loneliness and it passes on by. Amen 🙏🙏🙏🌹🌷🌹

I never experienced loneliness more than when I was a kid I had a very hard time expressing the way I felt and how I expressed myself to others, the stress of growing up with an alcoholic parent and the other parent missing I had an obligation of being there for my younger sisters it was an extremely lonely time in my life.

14:36 - I'm sad to say this, but in my experience it is far easier to build a relationship with Jesus than it is to find any Godly friends here on earth who will not betray me or judge me. 😟 I've only had ONE friend like that in my childhood, and she moved far away and I lost touch with her. These days, people are even more cunning and greedy, and judgemental to the core. Ive had 0 friends for decades now, I just dont trust anyone. Jesus is the only friend I have who will never betray me.

I have prayed to have a close Godly friend since I became a Christian, for 6 years. But my prayer hasn't been answered yet. I hope one day He will bring to me something or someone that goes beyond what I can ask and imagine.

Thank you Lord Jesus for sending this word this morning. I have a family and yes a couple people who claim that they are friends but to be honest I have been so lonely even though I have all these people around me including my family. I have been through so much that I have not ever been able to share or speak about to anyone about my past.All the things you’ve saying Pastor Stanley I am and have been feeling for so many years. I have been so overwhelmed and lonely that at times I’ve thought about just calling it a day and just let go to end this loneliness but I know that isn’t the Father’s plan for my life. I haven’t been able to forgive myself for my past even though I know that the Father has forgiven me. I do wish I had a brother for iron to sharpen iron but I don’t. I’m afraid that if they know what a monster I was and share all the bitterness and resentment that is in my heart the anger I’ve been holding onto for so many years not at others but at myself.And yes Father I’ve cried out to you but I don’t know if you have heard my cries because of the inequities that are deep inside my heart.Thank you for sharing about being lonley amen.

I'm having a hard time trusting God. I've been praying for good Christian friends for at least 10 years and I haven't found anyone. Every church I've been to is full of hypocrites, fake people, people who stay in own cliques, no one is friendly. How am I supposed to believe that God will answer me? I'm so lonely and broken down. I don't understand why God lets me feel so alone every day.

God, thank You for this promise(Hebrews 13:5). In Christ. Thank You Jesus, when we go through these periods of loneliness. Amen.

Being alone is always better than being with bad company... whenever you feel lonely though, just cry out to our Comforter the Holy Spirit, share your heart with Him, he will give you peace and comfort. I been there many times, those lonely feelings do subside, you are never alone.

This message is so true, I'm living proof having stumbled and had to do a reboot of my life staying at two Christian focused homeless shelters I experienced a lot of fear and uncertainty but through Christ he has helped me through.

God I've prayed so much for you to bring my son home to me .I don't know we're he is in america. I live in New Zealand it's been many years as you know God why are you punishing me I can't go on anymore not having my 30 year old son cody in my life

All that's fine, but we still need somebody physically to hold on to and to kiss and to tell them we love them. And they to hear they love us back. You can't hug a spirit or kiss on a spirit. So it doesn't comfort me just to hear words

I've learned that I'm a better friend than they are to me. It hurts. I distant myself from them. I look for genuine spiritual friends and I'm slowing finding them!

My son and I lost his mother ! On the Fourth of July she took her life we both feel lonely 😢

The last point is nearly impossible to implement. I live in one the most atheist countries in the world and there are no Godly friends to be found.
