There is compliments that people say, that something is "painting every frame", which is a overexagaration, not literal... but this is literally a painting every frame, incredible.
Lmao I thought this is a Kou Yoshinari animation at first but then found out that it's not. This is my first time of witnessing someone that replicates Kou's animation style and they did it absolutely perfect!! 😭🙏
I really want a full story with these 2. It really captures a vibe that very few pieces of media that I've consumed really have. I care so much about these two already
The moment when the blonde girl looked at the sky and it was so vast and vibrant and it literally took my breath away and maybe life is worth living after all and maybe I can be happy again someday and experience things that will actually make me want to continue living on- Thank you. This is so special and so close to home. The bruises on the girl too… I felt this so much
There are so many beautiful things in this planet for you to witness, you can look at a plant or a small animal. They're pretty, humans can be pretty too, by small gestures such as saying sorry after bumping into you Please don't let the bad things cover your eyes, not allowing you to look at a brighter picture
I was scrolling through the comments, looking for someone who'd mentioned that exact moment. My jaw literally dropped when that happened. Kudos, animator 👏
Animation itself is already difficult you need to keep the drawing looks consistent in every frame , but you painted and rendered all the frame with heavenly lightning and colors , lot of brush variations its just so peak so much hardwork you put into making this masterpiece i love this!
Good luck with that LOL, this is actually hand painting every frame, with some minor motion tweening. Super super time consuming, the closest to this is 3D painted style like arcane or something
@@spoony8485they did use hand painting way back. Well the very old animated movie like snow white is hand drawn (or more like cellshading). With technology pretty sure you just need to find a good team to pull it off. And that part is the hard part 😭
HELL NO THATS TOO MUCH WORK!!! I would love to see something like this but it would be TORTURE to produce a series/movie with this painting art style, i preffer just this for now lol
@@JaliceTheShort you need an expert team to pull it off. Semi recently there was a movie with a bunch of very specialized painters that was a documentary about Vincent van gogh’s life, and every frame of the movie was hand painted. It took a VERY long time, it is definitely possible but the amount of skill and effort needed to pull it off is immense. And keeping that up for a full TV series is nearly impossible, unless you want to spend 20 years making it. Ofc, though, people do stuff like this through 3D modeling and software, like spiderverse 2 (Gwen’s world), puss n boots, arcane, and a few others. But pulling it off without 3D models and actually legitimately hand-painting every frame, it would be UNBELIEVABLY hard.
The unique lighting and colors for every shot have me transported into another world. Every frame is done so meticulously... its evident you put a lot of work into this. There is something so special about the little moments that you spend with someone close, and I feel ALL of that here (especially with the vertical phone format). The way nothing matters except for you and someone else... and based on the title and character designs, it seems like they've been through a lot. This is why the scene with the car by the ocean makes me so, so happy. I feel the same relief as the blonde hair character does. I feel the wind in my face and the smell of the sea. The sense of freedom and nostalgia for a life that's not even mine. Amazing work. One of my favorite artists always and forever
incredible, soul-healing, simple but powerful imagery, themes, story, fucked up amounts of solidity, 3d knowledge, and understanding of human movement and stylization, not even mentioning the brushwork and lighting, and the way you play with the frame, insane work.
-im so jelaous people actually have friendships like this while the first time i ever felt (what i think is) the comfortness of the feeling of a friendship was in a dream at 15 years old- appreciate your friends yall 😭
@@AtenaHena and i hope you have a great life, i genienuely loved this and even 28 minutes after im still looking at this 😭 good luck with whatever next projects you have!!
This almost made me cry; I literally dropped my jaw because of how beautiful it is. It really looks like you put your whole heart and soul into this; it looks like a collection of paintings that came to life. Stunning.
I can't deny the fact that this is now one of my favorite works of art. You have achieved something amazing and I hope to see so much more of your future work
I genuinely can't even fathom the amount of time and skill to paint each frame with such a level of detail and depth, quite literally moving illustrations, this is incredible
I literally didn't know this until a moment ago, cause I was redirected here from Twitter. just commenting for boosting the video cause I found the animation likable
wait ONLY ONE PERSON ANIMATED THIS?! It’s so incredible! And the style, camera angles, and quick cuts in the beginning really make it feel like a series of memories
I think I first started seeing your animations in 2018/2019? I got dragged in by those Mob Psycho 100 vids, and then haven’t left since- And I cannot say enough how incredibly cool it was to see your art evolve so incredibly much over the years! I was already incredibly amazed back then, and still always and incredibly moreso even now. Everything about your animations and art are so lifelike and impeccable, and this one especially is so incredibly unique. You always know how to make the characters move so lifelike, the shots and environments feel full of it, and I can’t imagine how much time and care went into painting all of those frames here?? Wishing you much much success with all of your current and future endeavours, I think you were, and will always be one of my favourite animators ever :)
As an artist, I've been trying to draw this perfect blue sky for a while and every time I try, it always feels bit off. Glad to see someone who found their ideal blue sky and made this animation
Absolutely generational piece of art. I don’t think a single other animation exists that looks anything like this. Equally amazing that you yourself haven’t made anything like this before (at least publicly). The aesthetics so perfectly capture such intense and raw emotions. The opening of the car sunroof is incredibly well done. Just unreal. You deserve everything good in this world.
I didn't even recognize the channel until the name popped up at the end. I can't believe a channel I've been watching for 7 years is still posting bangers. This work was stunning!!
You have chosen such a complex graphic style to animate with all these brush strokes and color gradients, it's pretty impressive. The work on the lighting is also amazing, well done!
I was feeling so depressed today and then the shot of the beautiful blue sky completely snapped me out of my funk. I'm so happy I'm alive to see works of art like this.
Wow this is incredible idek what to say!!! The painted animation style, and how realistically everything moves... all the details... absolutely incredible holy shit
My words aren't enough to express how much Joy I got from THIS! Thank you you've blessed my morning and my day I'll keep rewatching this Alot It's Breathtaking
From the first few frames I was enthralled, my eyes stuck to the screen like they haven't done before in quite a while, and for this I thank you. Your short film is a visual feast with each scene being beautifully crafted. I love this and consider it apure work of art! Keep at it, you'll achieve great heights!
I love this so much and I want to offer my thanks to you for putting this into my eyeballs. However, when they were in the car, all I could think was "PUT YOUR FUCKING SEATBELTS ON!"
I don't even know where to begin, this is so insanely stunning - each frame has so much love in it, and I love how we can understand the story through just a series of shots! Such a beautiful short film, thank you for gracing us with it! It's always exciting seeing your work!
IM SORRY WHAT??!? BRO THIS IS INCREDIBLE!! the fact that every frame of this animation is just a whole rendered painting is CRAZY!! that must have took u alot of effort to make, u could literally enter a competition with MAPPA animation AND U WOULD WIN!!
