U.K. This song has send me back to the 60s when as a student. We don’t hear of these soul inspiring songs as it was in our youth. You hear them in schools, in the churches and at home. The devil is truly the god of this our present age. But the Lord Jesus Christ would prevail as he conquered death and hell some 2000 years ago. May the Lord strengthen and give us, those who know him, courage to proclaim His Word. Our God is Love.
This is my Society hymn, chosen by me years ago. We sing the Its and last verse as sung tribute at members funeral. A much loved hymn by me since Sunday School years. I will by God's grace turn 80 next March. Beautifully sung.
i just discovered this song today and its now on repeat mode God bless everyone and may we trust and obey,,,,,follow the footsteps of jesus and his teachings
I read revelations and envisioned heaven and I am preparing myself to enter through the gates of heaven. I am tired of all the pain and suffering now. I am trusting and obeying God. I am not perfect but I am staying in prayer and asking God to guide and give me strength to carry on. 🙏
The words of this song flow like honey - we give Almighty God the glory and honour for his faithfulness towards us each morning that we wake up. And every night before we sleep.
To trust and obey is the wises thing a person can do for when a person is in God's will nothing can harm them unless itis in God's plan for their life.
I absolutely love joining in singing with you. I wish you could transplant yourselves to America where far too many churches today sing repetitive, touchy-feely lyrics with loud rock bands.
It's the pastors and music ministers' fault. They think they have to do that do appease the the congregations - especially the young people. They do not get it at all.
Amen Amen. For the whole of this month of October, God has been ministering my heart through the words in this Hymn. Av been trusting and waiting on God for some breakthrough and it has not been easy waiting, but God has been speaking to me in this season that in the midst of waiting, I must be Attentive, Obedient and Humble. May the Lord help us to Trust and Obey.
