Or how Mai from iland2 was always portrayed as this poor little girl who practiced alone at night, it is all carefully crafted for the public to sympathize with her when in reality she was always supposed to be in the final line up. Any many more examples, it's all just so planned there is a very little place for authenticity and that doesn't even come from idols but underground artists who are criminally underrated.

I mean pretty sure she has issues with her look and not just because she’s went under the knife. I recall in the BTS video for their MV ugly, she was literally crying in a car over the lyrics, if I’m not mistaken. YG (and by extension K-Pop in general) I think really have caused her emotional pain (let alone she had issues with that before she became an idol). I wouldn’t doubt if she is really crying her. I barely cry, so sometimes I look kind of like this.

I miss them, they were the ONLY kpop group that I can tell who's which, and they look healthy (unlike others who look underweight), and I love their music, and they were amazing with fans, unlike others who just perform. They were, and still are the queens.

Not all idols fake cry tho. I don't know but for me 99% of the time I can always tell when idols are genuine and when they are faking emotion. It comes easy to me but maybe thats cause I am more on the intuitive side of the spectrum so I am very observant when it comes to body language and feelings, and trust me the body never lies.
But her eyes actually do look teary/tearful tho!!! if you look up close, like there's some water in them. It looks real, at least to me... 🤔🤷♀️ but if it's fake, then shes really good at acting 😂
