Lvl 60 now, in yet another playthrough, still haven't meet Delphine in Riverwood. 😂 But got ALL the houses including CC. I love this game, been playing since it's initial release over a decade ago.
Alduin saves your life and then chills the rest of the game until you start messing with his plans. Chillest antagonist ever. Just live and let live and you're cool.

Honestly, vampirism is the only time I make sure I don't have a disease before arcadia has a chance to ponder the fact of how I'm even alive whenever I walk into her shop
Imagine the chaos with all the aedras and daedras trying to claim the Dragonborn's soul only for Akatosh to reclaim it back because the dragons are literally a piece of him
@@thedukebelmondoi just did the hermae mora stuff in the dragonborn dlc, he doesnt ask for your soul like nocturnal does. Same for auriels bow. Both quests give you the same deal with hermae and its basically “this is a trade, you will accept this trade if you want to further your goals. I have my own stuff to worry about.”
@@mashur4880 Mora literally tells Miraak as he's killing him that he found a "more faithful servant" and afterwards tells you to, paraphrasing, don't get any ideas of betraying him or you'll end up like Miraak.
This plastic armor makes me remember my carnival kindergarden 's costume ... I had this plastic armour with also a cool golden sword and big grey shield ^-^
the problem is some things end up feeling samey. every version of some sort of spellsword, eg, paladin, cleric, warlock, battlemage, ect, all feel the same gameplay wise and all level up mostly the same things. in games with dedicated classes all those playstyles feel much more unique and have more depth

To be fair. On the others their leader died and what you call it "candy bar on your way" is saving their hide and doing quite helpful things for their faction. Also... I'm sure you didn't count them for some reason(which might be even good), but for nitpicking, you don't get to be the high king in vanilla skyrim if you either the imperials or the stormcloaks.
The best part is that the Last Dragonborn is all but confirmed to be a shezarrine, so when/if he dies, none of the daedra will get a piece because that soul is on an express flight to Aetherius

That's why I hate videogames, it appeals to the male fantasy. Male fantasy: being desired by like 20 psychopaths. I have to admit that some (like mommy azura) are quite easy on the eye, but some people are just down sick for being dominated.
@@eraimatteiwell then the guild had a few speakers. Because last I checked multiple people talked to people then they also made you go talk to people from time to time. Being the listener just seems better because nobody else is doing it.
Wherever akatosh is, technically every dragon is a part of him including the dragonborn, although the dragon part of us might get separated and our character might just go to whatever afterlife their race believes in
It's a lie though. You start the game with 2 and at the start of the bridge in winterhold you're asked to perform a 3rd which cant be flame or heal (You're always asked an apprentice or adept spell and those 2 are novice level). And to progress the quest you are given a lesser ward by tolfdir. To manipulate the mechanism that shows the map you need flame and frostbite spells, so that's a 5th. I might have forgotten some more, but you know at least 5 spells if you're an archmage.

When I first played Skyrim, my dad walked in when I found her beacon. I asked him what it was. He just gave me this stupid grin and told me to take it. He fricking knew.
@NightQueen we need a mod that makes respawning adventurer npcs and makes them aware of where the beacon is, and if they touch it, it goes to a new chest and everyone in skyrim hears the line, forcing the player to actually do the quest or hear her babble

I'm gonna level with you. Your father wanted to catch these hands, no magic, no weapons. I accepted his request. Then he decided he wanted a real fight, and pulled out a knife. I was hoping he would just get tired of slashing at me, and you know, I hit him a couple times, still fists only of course. I waited for him to yield, you know, but then he fell over and just, didn't get back up. Karma for not fighting fair if you ask me.
when you do every sidequest and reach the top of (or defeat) every faction in the region before ever touching the main story and then still somehow waltz through the thalmor embassy, the home of the most comprehensive spy network in the lore, completely unrecognized

@@horizonlight4263 It's called Meridia's Beacon. It's an item from one the Daedric Prince(ess) Meridia's Temple that starts a quest for her. It can show up in any chest from Level 10 (12?) onward, and when you pick it Meridia quite LOUDLY starts speaking to you and telling you to go clear her temple out of a necromancer who has defiled it.
For the "normal"(not crimson) nirnroot you can go to Sarethi Farm in the Rift. You can get the crimson nirnroot there, but only *after* doing the quest about collecting them
I like starting the main story, going to solstheim to start Dragonborn, finish the civil war, do main quest, then do Dragonborn. It makes Alcuin feel like the mid game villain, and Miraak steals dragon souls occasionally making Alcuin a stepping stone before you go after the true villain.
I got halfway thru the civil war and my glitched with white run in ruins, and after having to revert to a save from before the war, I vowed never to do it again.
I get sick satisfaction the more daedric quests I complete and tell I’m dedicated my soul to them. I may not say it aloud, but the devil on my shoulder gleefully cackles, “Have fun fighting over it when I die. May the fuckiest fucker of fuckery win. Meanwhile, ima slip into Sovngarde.”
@@infinitechumbucket Akatosh yes, even though it's stated that Akatosh did create the dragonborn, it isn't that they go straight back to Akatosh. Whereas, Tsun does. Also Akatosh is a combination of Shor and Auriel.

I’ll only do it early on in my gameplay for that sweet ass sword she gives you I remember the first time I grabbed it. I had a headset on and when she said *A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON* I literally threw my controller. It was so loud and unexpected 😂

To me, he was never a fun fight. Just a slightly more powerful dragon. They should've made him way crazier to battle. To me the best dragon fight I've had was the optional one where you fight the twins
On the other hand, I have a buddy who isn't very versed in these types of games. He tried RDD2. He spend 16 hours playing the game seemingly aimlessly and when his friend asked him what he thought of the first couple quests and mentioned what they entailed he went, "I have no idea what you're talking about," and realized he didn't even do any of the main story. He quit after that.
