And who tf did come up with the idea of including Quick Time Events in cutscenes? Soundtrack: Silent Hill 2 - True (Akira Yamaoka) Footage borrowed from: • Assassin's Creed II - ... #assassinscreed
I actually think I turned off my ps3 knowing I could corrupt my file to do it again. No universe of mine was going to exist where Leonardo didn’t get a hug
Just headcanon it that they hugged, but Desmond didn't need it for synchronization. Trust me it works everytime, and shows that Desmond is the true monster here.
I wasn't expecting a quick time event here so I didn't realize until it was too late and when I saw his reaction I felt bad. Then I tried to replay the mission but that's when I realized you can't actually do that in AC2, which only added salt to the wound
it was a small detail i caught in the scene where ezio and cristina meet at first of game and did same throught out whole game when ever game told to press button while playing ac 2 years ago
Adding Quick Time Events to cutscenes is just stupid, I mean you're supposed to watch the thing (maybe eat some snacks), not to be constantly worried about pressing buttons lol.
@@DamakriaStudios they be showing some weird ass heiroglyph expecting me to know the keybind immediately like i need 2 seconds to even make it out what symbol that is
Yeah same here, the dude fixed your hidden blade, modifies it with poison and a freakin gun AND gives you a second blade FOR FREE Bro deserves a hug and much, much more
this is exactly what i did; was caught off guard and missed it the first time, then went through the whole tour of venice again to get it (and took some screenshots for good measure)
I have to confess, playing first time, i had to exit the game to the menu, to resset the mission and start over, also mention about symbols as hand in red blackground to press the shift on PC . And it took me like three seconds to realise that i am supposed to press a button, hard to realise what to push, and miss most of cutscenes. Since it looked soo sad to me, i just had to remake it right, to actually find out what will happen, and it had zero consequences on character´s story, but it feels rewarding, how the scene goes, when you make it right.
so cringe with how everyone here just looks at things from a surface-level in terms of how a certain action will make you feel better or fill that void inside you... there's no matter of taking things into a perspective or an outlook onto different perspectives based on Ezio's characterisation if he decided to not hug Da Vinci.
I swear ubisoft just gaslighted people into replaying that save just because of how unexpected that prompt was, it disappeared as soon as i read it when it appeared and it left me depressed as if i just left Leonardo on a sad note
I put my controller down to watch the cutscene and drink something, but then it happened and just as i was on the square button it stopped... Never felt worse
there is something else. remember when leonardo ask ezio for money to buy that wooden doll? but npe there is no option or mission for us to buy that doll for leonardo. damn ubisoft
I didnt hug him cos it poped and left as soon as i noticed it, its like AC3 having to press the two buttons in a short time when getting attacked by wildlife. ac2 had so many quick time events i swear
I got distracted one of the times i played through the game and forgot to hug leo 😢 i deleted the save file and restarted again just so i dont miss out on the hug
Yeah I played the trilogy on both console and pc, and I can confirm those button icons are extremely irrelevant and hard to memorize (let alone quick time events)
