I can't f*cking imagine what the animation would be like, giving birth to mice and the new born all smacking the enemy in the nuts? Like the animators finna sweat now.
@@funninoriginal6054 I start with Mystical Fire, then it drops the substitute, it works almost always because they do the exact same shit and because wisp isn't 100% accurate. I only lost matchs vs people that did different or the wisp missed. I think that's like, 4-5 losses
It's amazing how all it takes for people to grin ear to ear is add a meme sound for each hit of Population Bomb... This is why we should hope and pray to Arceus we get a Bulletproof ability mon to deal with this.
Ok, so a couple things: 1 - A Dragon Dance that removes hazards is... weird, but cool. And also powerful. 2 - I have no idea what Population Bomb even looks like in S/V, but combining a 10-hit move... with KING'S ROCK!? That's just pure evil. And I'm all for it.
It's not op, this guy doesn't understand math. 10 hits are ensured with hone claws baton pass onto maushold. So each hit has 10% to flinch with kings so the chance not to flinch is 90%. So to not each from the whole attack is (90%)^10=~35% not to flinch overall. Therefore making it a ~65% with is hardly better than serene grace with air slash. Just clickbait.
@@jordanbuck7363 The damage of the move is what is so strong. Stab + Technician + Tera normal makes it go from 20 power to 68. Hitting 10 times means 680 power, plus the chance to flinch with kings rock.
It's not quite a 100% flinch chance, because King’s Rock doesn't work like that. It works more like a 10% chance to flinch with each individual hit. Therefore the actual flinch chance of the move is 1-(0.9^10), assuming it always lands 10 hits. 1-(0.9^10) 1-0.3486784401 About 65% flinch chance Still kinda OP
So if I understand correctly, it's Population Bomb, 90% accuracy, 20 power, hits 10 times. Then King's Rock for 10% flinch each hit. Online Probability Calculator says its about a 61% Flinch chance each time you use the move.
@@juanfransanchez3514 it's 10 hits that independently roll accuracy and stop any remaining hits on the first miss, similar to Triple Kick/axel. It's not 1-10 hits like a beefy Fury Swipes
guess what? I just ran gen 9 ag with 6 moushold with all coverage moves I've got. with 2 king rocks, 2 sashes, a loaded dice bullet seed, and a wide lens. And as you guess, I bring everyone to ruin. Tips: predict their fighting move and jumpscare tera ghost them.
@@Gspoink How did you deal with enemy ghost types tho? Best maushold has to deal with them is Tera Blast and Bite (for the tecnician boost), which isn't nearly enough to counter the new ghosts this gen
@@RichterTheGoat chill, this just reminded me of using stun spore and wrap in gen 1, which is another strategy which stopped the opponent from playing the game for several turns until the mon fell, that's all.
I showed this to my pokemon fan sister who hasnt played SV yet and now she's researching Moushold and looking more and more horrified the more she reads lmao
I just looked up Population Bomb's mechanics, and 😲 wow is it strong. 90% base Accuracy for each individual hit capping at 10. This Pokémon can have Technician for it's Hidden Ability too. Definitely a good 'mon to Baton Pass to.
Orcorio + Volcorona is still my favorite combo, it allows you to attack 3 times in a single round, and fiery dance has a chance to raise your sp attack, I've been dominating in S/V 2v2 as of late
Move is called "population bomb" and hits up to 10 times! Accuracy of 90 and ends once it misses, but with the extra accuracy from hone claws it doesnt. Oh, and its a 20 power move but maushold has technician to boost it to 30 power, effectively making it 300 power before factoring in attack increases. Insane. (also multi hit so each hit has a chance to proc kings rock, god its so good LOL) (btw hi raylight)
I know that Pokemon SV was rushed but what were they thinking. A mouse (obviously) Pokémon who has technician boosted Population bomb which has a base 300 which has a 90% to hit all 10 hits (with wide lens). To top it off it has a dragon dance which removes hazards and substitutes. What were they thinking.
They were thinking: "This is a childrens game and kids like moves that make them feel powerful." And all the competetive autists were like: "NOOO STOP CATERING TO THE KIDS YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE GAME FOR MEEEE!"
I love that half of the team is just Kartanas dedicated to Defog and Knock Off (I assume) Edit: Nevermind, they're just dedicated to use Tailwind, that is even funnier
Kind of. But unlike the Skill Link version, here you're down to the whims of the RNG. It *can* hit up to 10 times but it can also hit as low as 1. Also if it ever misses then the chain ends, and with a 90% accuracy that's not too unlikely
To everyone who says it's a 100 % flinch chance, it's not. Because of how percentages work it's actually only roughly a 70 % flinch chance (couldn't be bothered to calculate it exactly)
Hey Temp, love your videos although half the time I'm not fully sure what's happening! Any chance you can explain your strats, either in video or in the description?
As well as doing what Yu-Gi-Oh does where they add new gimmicks every new series. Yu-Gi-Oh: Fusion -> Synchro -> XYZ -> Pendulum Pokemon: Mega Evolution -> Z-Moves -> Dyna/Gigantamax -> Terastilization
King's Rock, it doesn't have an innate chance to flinch. Also, I think it's supposed to be 1-10 hits but it's bugged in S/V and always does 10, and showdown just kept the bug? *EDIT* It's actually not bugged, it just has 90% accuracy and once an attack misses the move ends, so if you have accuracy up you can pretty much guarantee 10 hits. *EDIT 2* Lmao Rocky Helmet
I like using Hyper Fang to halve the HP, then either Population Bomb or Beat Up lmaooooooo. Only done it on NPCs so far, but it still cracks me tf up that this mouse nest is such a terror
Why not try gen 9, we have. 100,flinch chance. Suicide teams/ghost dogo. An invincible Pokémon. stronger versions of pre existing Pokémon. 2 motorcycles.
I knew this Pokemon was gonna be my fav that's so annoying but yet adorable with some irritating or underwhelming strat like that with a crazy 10 hit beating lol
Btw, use this with anihilape in doubles after skill swapping scrappy on it, then, assuming it doesn’t die(so bulky anihilape and 0 iv ev attack maushold) and rage fist gets a 500 power boost if I understand that right
Ofc it doesnt. Just for simplicity, if i use s move that Hits 10 Times and my flinch chance is 10% that doesnt mean i always flinch the enemy. It means that each of these 10times(so every single time ) there is a single check weather or not the enemy gets flinched. This means for simplicity that even if i get hit 10 Times there is still a pretty Big Chance for him to Miss, namely 90%. Even if the check only needs to hit once you dont just stack the 10 on top of each other and call it a Day. And if you want the math behind this just ask😉👍 fair warning though its gonna be a Long ride
I haven’t gotten to try this yet I’m so happy to see it works. My literal favorite Pokémon is kings rock Cinccino, and they just made a more broken version
