This is exactly how it feels to build a team. One moment you're thinking you are a genius with the cheesy strategy and loopholes you found, the next moment your tank gets one-shot, the loophole actually doesn't work, and you realize that you forgot to put moves on 3 of your pokemon.
Hey guys, did you know that in terms of human-pokemon companionship, Vaporeon is a very compatible friend for humans? It keeps all of Eevee's perks and adds a couple more. Since it's a Water type, Vaporeon is the most friendly and playful one of the Eeveelutions (and some of them are also really calm and relaxed, so there's variety too). It's also the only one without any fur, so you don't have to worry about it. This bad boy/girl also can pack a pretty wide moveset, and can protect your loved ones when needed, and don't forget that it's a Water type, which can carry you around with Surf or make sure your kids are safe when you're at the beach. But that's not all, it can also learn moves like Scald or Ice Beam, which, with a little training can come in handy if it's too hot or cold outside (think of it like a sprinkler). And last but not least, it's super squishy to the touch, and nice to hug.
Did you know that Jolteon and Vaporeon are mates? Jolteon is fast, spikey, and fragile while Vaporeon is slow, bulky, and smooth. The perfect couple 💛💙among Pokemon.
This is probably a field guide to actual fails he's battled before. I vaguely recall him once swapping an Assault Vest to a status tank from a Klutz Lopunny and getting accused for cheating when they happened.
You need a niche in a good team. Covering weaknesses is good but dont rely too much on a single mon. Stat boost moves may work but dont spam them as you can easily get phazed easily against a good team. Choose natures/ev based on the meta/threats a pokemon mostly gets, dont rely on the auto EV generator too much. Try and get hazards on the opposing team first- remember, ROCKS ARE META, YOU FOLLOW THE META.
I was hoping for a serious video since im genuinely interested in competitive battling because of your videos but you've always been more comedy orientated so it's a given.
*Deletes legendaries* Okay... *Keeps Tsareena* Makes sense. She's a powerful Pokémon *Adds Loppuny* Not my first choice, but not a bad one either *Adds Gardevoir* I'm beginning to see a pattern that I'm not quite sure I like *Adds Vaporeon* HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM *Adds Deoxys-Attack as a wall* You've gotta be kidding me.
This helped me realize the importance of walls and working around the weaknesses of specific pokemon which you plan to use. That was all I was missing on my way to become the pokemon champion except that I should look at type charts and do proper damage calculation.
Inside of you, there are two hungry Lycanrocks. One wants to teach the world how to anger legendary spammers using team balance and game mechanics. The other wishes to guard such ancient secrets because it honestly takes some time to learn to stunt like this and nobody handed you a handy dandy video guide back in the day. Which will you feed?
The Lopunny strategy is quite a unique one, I'll have to try it out! Whether your actual favorite pokémon is Lopunny or not, I heavily appreciate her appearance and usage.
Non-mega lopunny usually utilizes its Klutz ability with Trick. You can use status moves with vest or you can use more than one move with choice items. Good at stopping those leads relying on status.
About time temp realise he is a good player and should make such a video to help those like me who just use stall :^). Nah who am I trolling? Nice bad team.
I did it, temp, I did just as you asked! I took another mortgage, sold one of my livers (since you told me I only need one to survive), sold all the children‘s toys at yard sales and divorced from my wife, following your advice that they don‘t help me getting any better at pokemon and are just a time-and money sink. I think I can now afford the ultra deluxe premium pack of steps in the guide you were talking about. I was a bad student so far, but I‘m SURE I can win a pokemon battle with what I‘ll learn this time!!
Hi Temp6t! I started my first Pokémon game, X, back in March. I really love games where I can collect things, and that's what attracted me to Pokémon. But... I'm at 717/721 available Pokémon right now. I have almost a full living dex in my PC boxes, and I've moved on to collecting every kind of mega stone, berry, and held item. I have an entire arsenal and no idea how to use it 😅 I didn't even think of looking up a weaknesses chart before seeing this video. I'm excited to finally start battling people, and your advice is very helpful!
This video helped me so much thank you!!! My team ended up being pretty similar to urs being Lopunny, Tsareena, Gardevoir, Vaporeon, Salazzle, and Mewtwo. Thank you for the tips
Very funny video. Seems like you had your favorite picks for the team. Jokes aside, would you consider making a video on how you compile your teams? You always manage to make it look so simple with what your teams are set up to take care of.
My face passed through all the phases of "X becoming uncanny" the more Pokemon you added to the team and it dawned on me what kind of team you were making. And then you chose Vaporeon.
Wow. I have realized from this video that you have evolved, become beyond the meta, and are truly my successor. Congratulations, I can now peacefully retire from Pokemon knowing that the game is in good hands.
I like Pheromosa in terms of look and she got a good shiny, despite her defense stats she carries me in Nat Dex AG and Doubles OU on the ladder, accurate guide 10/10
Oh man, it's videos like this that make me really tempted to get back into competitive pokemon. But I've already had years taken off my life from the last go around with that :)
Making lopunny female is actually optimal, since it makes it immune to cute charm. Good on tempt for recognizing this matchup. What unparalleled genius!
This is how I made my team that wins most games, find videos where temp sweeps with 1 Pokemon and add that one to your team until you have 6 mons, 6 busted sweepers is almost a guaranteed win, without all the legendary spam. You can also add in a set up pokemon like mew, Shedinja, etc or one of your favorite Pokemons
