Lmao, I was terminated from my last job and I was happy because I had wanted to quit. The great thing was that I got unemployment and when CoVid hit, I got more unemployment so it was actually a blessing in disguise.
The exact same thing happened to me! My boss fired me two days before Christmas 2019! I was already on unemployment before the pandemic and I had qualified for the pandemic pay. It was such a blessing!!!!!
Same. Furlough. Then fired. and they had to pay me a severance, I made more in 6 mths then I did the 2 years there. Then gotta better job making more and I do nothing for the 6hrs I’m there. Rejection is Gods protection

I worked with a manager who had an attitude and barely spoke to us in the morning, but after lunch she was everyone's best friend. Laughing and talking the rest of the day. She would drink on her lunch break at the restaurant like 50ft from the store
When I was fired, I already had all my stuff gone and I shook the dust off my feet as I got in the car. I found out later my firing was a personal vendetta and the man who fired me got sacked less than six months later…for not being able to d his job. God opened a window and I had a great vacation (severance pay)before I started my new job.
This was me on Feb 2 this year. Been there 22 years n he fired me for going off on him because he cussed me out first then 30 min later called the police on me for nothing. Black guy that's a pastor but sleeping with everybody in the job. It was a blessing tho.

This happened to me years ago, light skin dude 6’7 did not like me at all. I don’t believe in working hard, I believe in working smart, that fool turned a whole office against me. Then he got fired, he felt I had something to do with it but I didn’t, he became to comfortable in his stealing, and wasn’t paying attention to the corporate transfer the company made when they moved a new guy to our location. Ole boy was there to set him up. He was to focused on me and not paying attention to his surroundings, he made a mistake and the paid dearly for it. As he was leaving he called me every name but a child of GOD, he tried really hard to provoke me. Had his minions watching me, I started receiving random phone calls at the job from his family.
Look at God! Just told someone at work that most of us won't drum up the faith to actually leave unless we're pushed. To walk into another room you gotta walk out of the one you're in.

😂😂😂😂 Why did you throw Regina under the bus though! Got fired one time and they said they needed to escort me out. I told them thank you, important people tend to have folks escorting them. I kindly took my time gathering my things, put on my lip gloss, threw on my shades, popped my collar and said "Let's go, I'm ready." 😂😂😂 They were so stunned that they didn't escort me out. They stared in disbelief as I sauntered out and wished them a blessed day. God forgive me.🤦🏿🤷🏿😝

🤣🤣🤣This is every medical office Ive ever worked in. One girl..(whose husband was arrested for some drug offense).got fired, went out the back door and keyed the mangers card. The back door was always open. We worked in fear that her husband was going to come shoot us. Medical facilites and hospitals dont lock front doors🤷🏾♀️
Lol! At my last job they scheduled surprise reviews. It was just a scheme to get one of us to quit. But why? Because it was at-will employment and we all knew they were struggling. Just lay one of us off. But they were messy. That review session was mad disrespectful so I went ahead and quit. But it was during Corona, so unemployment didn't even question it. They just sent the checks. Ha! I'd already been planning to leave - my recruiter had offered me a position a couple months before which I foolishly turned down. All's well that ends well. Now I get to work from home making so much more than they could ever pay me. And they're still struggling.
Ms Boss Lady tried to give me a write up for being 3 days behind quota after I got back from sick leave. I said I thought I had a backup, are you going to write her up too? Didnt hear another word about it.

I was once fired with a two week notice so I could get a project completed before I was terminate. Well, the project didn't get completed before I left and I wasn't asked about it until the day before my termination. I laughed when I was asked about it because it was going to take at least 2 months to get the project completed but since no one asked me my opinion on how long it would take, I didn't offer the information.

One thing I learned from being terminated from jobs in my teens and early twenties is don’t start looking for a job when things get bad. I’m a model employee going on interviews.

This is my 12 yr old when she's in trouble, when I accidentally forget to check off a chore for allowance, and when an establishment (more specifically food) has forgotten to give us something we paid for. 😂 That's sad.

A assistant manager at a former job got fired for stealing time from her first job but we celebrated her ingenuity because she literally clocked into her retail job at a big box store and after 30mins she would leave and go to her other desk job 😂😂😂 It was so funny and we all knew but she was recently divorced with kids and needed the money. We were college students and she was a assistant manager who would do the schedule based on what we wanted. She made it a cake job.
I can fondly remember saying on a job when they called me into the office with my supervisor and HR in the room the day I was fired “Are we done?” . Man I was bold back in the day. Signed up for unemployment the same day and kept it moving.
Yup, I knew it was coming when they said they would call me on my day off to discuss a situation. Shortest call ever. And right before I needed my insurance for surgery. Had to scramble and get Medicaid. Place was terrible anyway and I bet the people that decided are not even there anymore. But here I am, doing good 👩🏾💼
