When you Leave a Narcissistic Relationship and go No Contact 

I left in the morning when he went to work. Left everything behind. Changed my number, work from home, no social media. I have been no contact for 6 months. What an amazing healing process this has been. I just found out that he moved someone else in 2 weeks after I left and they are "married". I feel nothing.....no anger, no sadness, no feeling of revenge. It only shows that the years of begging to let me go bc of all the cheating, was true. It shows how much of a piece of crap he is. The new victim will eventually see his true colors once the love bombing phase. He will never change and I can only imagine the stories he told her, but you know what, I don't care bc I know the truth. My motto has been, "The truth shall set you free."

Not only will things not change when they come back, it will likely get worse. Go and stay no contact. It really works!

Don't tell them your leaving. Just go.

I am no contact with my narcissist going on one year, we have a 3-year-old daughter. Our s*** hit the fan at her 3-year-old birthday party, Halloween. All the manipulation, gaslighting, everything came to a head, all the beans were spilled. The truth finally came out about everything and I've had nothing to do with him ever since. I am currently seeking child support. I have no desire on looking at this man outside of a courtroom and I still don't know exactly what all I'm doing day to day, but I'm doing it for my peace, sanity and happiness. So now all I can do is work on being a balance parent so my daughter doesn't turn out the same way.

If you love this type of personality then you obviously dont love yourself.Stay no contact, if you keep going back you go from victim to volunteer.

He discarded me...didn't know how to proceed, felt/feel stuck, but I've blocked him. I've come to the realization that although it hurts, I rather not hear from him ever again, hurts too much.

Yup, my ex immediately put up an online dating profile, which was up WHILE he harassed me to get back with him. Can't figure out why he thought that would work.🙄

Why are we listening to a self described narcissist? We are still victims if we do this. Just go ahead and heal! Be done with them. You are still trying to figure it out and that means the narcissistic personality is still in control! Just admit you fell for it and move on! It happened. Learn and leave. Dont go back!

There is only one way out, once you know, you go, you get out and stay out. This advice comes from a self aware Narc on RU-vid. Don't even give them a warning or indication that you are leaving. This is the best decision you can make about caring for yourself. It will take time to heal and every time you remember the fake artist, remember the bad they did to you and how could they when you gave them everything you could give them. No contact is the best injury you can give the Narc.

The thing that bothers me the most now is I keep thinking about what he's thinking then losing track of my own thoughts. There are times when I do manage to bring myself back to the moment and it feels good.

I was with a Narcissist for 3 years. I didn't even know what it was. I ended up packing up and moving closer to my family. I didn't tell him. I went no contact. He was already with someone and posting it on FB. I blocked everything but my phone. Big mistake. He tried to reach me and I never answered. It was hard but I was proud of myself. The damage this man did to me mentally is unbelievable. I went almost 8 months no contact and a few days ago he sent me a text with a song. The song was something that remains me of my son's death. What a horrible man he is. I waited a day and sent me a text stating he's up to his old games and now I'm the ex he's messaging (we all know they always keep messaging the exes) I told him if he messages me again I will screenshot it and send it to his new gf. He changed his tune and stated it was just a song I told him about. I know he was trying to mess with my mental health again. PLEASE NEVER BREAK NO CONTACT EVER!!! Some how that one or two messages have dropped me back. I thought I was strong and could handle him after 8 months and working with a therapist. I can't stop thinking he thinks he won because I answered him. When I think this I keep telling myself I'm not the same person I was 8 months ago. I have goals and I'm not going to let him get me again. Go no contact and never look back. You can't be nice they always have an evil motive to hurt you.

The very best way to deal with this situation is to understand NPD. The next very important step is to work on you. Explore the reasons why you may have attracted this person into your life. That’s the even more powerful than no contact. If you can not have no contact because of circumstances and kids. Work on yourself and use third party or email communication and stick to the topic.

Over a year after a very nasty, abusive break-up in (of all places) Hawaii, my ex called me, needing help. He'd had surgery and no one was there to help him. (Yes--he'd burned so many bridges that even his family wanted nothing to do with him.) I went to the store and got what he needed and took it by. his house. He was "so appreciative" and tried to be "so pleasant." I left and did not accept further contact. His pattern of acting nice then turning on me when I let my guard down was something I couldn't endure.

Mine kept saying he was trying. 4 days. It was 4 days of trying then not and that became the cycle and every time it happened over 2 years of marriage and 5 years of being together I was supposed to believe the “trying” through all the lies, manipulation and cheating and all the other narc tendencies.

I just got hoovered by a narcissist I had dumped in 2009. Unbelievable. Over a decade later. Of course it was because things fell apart with the previous source. I entertained them for a few days bc I wondered if maybe they weren’t a narc, but I’m convinced they are and i went no contact.

When I was 16 I finally got out away from an extremely toxic and abusive narc.. no contact. He stalked me for 20 years until he died by sweet talking my grandmother for my contact info. I asked her over and over not to give it to him but she couldn’t say no to him even though I told her about how abusive he was.

I went no contact because the yo-yo with my emotions between love bombing and then no demonstration of love was crushing my soul. He changed the locks on the house, filed for divorce and wanted me served at my work but had the address wrong. This was just after promising me change and future faking. I'm crushed. Ridden with guilt. I'm wanting words back and feel insane. He never demonstrated but I am lost

Ya,,, stay authentic and true to yourself..... The narcs are good as trying to create doubt in your mind, but stay in your authenticity healthy self expression shine your light and keep healthy boundaries. The narc doenst care or love you they are looking for supply and someone to use, and devalue, and then leave once they have another supply. We've got to love ourselves, and see those redflags, have commitment to stay true to ourselves. This goes with narc systems, too, some systems are set up with a couple narcs, and a couple codependent people as well, and you can want to be friends with the non narcs, cause you see the red flags. But if the enablers are too loyal to the narcs they'll back stab , and we've got to choose ourselves, i got to chose to stay true to myself and not tolerate things like triangulation or narcisistic dynamics. Even if i had clear boundaries with some narcs , sometimes the people that aren't informed about narc abuse they are too enably. So i gotta keep choosing myself, healthy boundaries and ofcourse communicating. Part of thriving is connecting with healthy people, in healthy ways, and specially a healthy relationship with myself also, I love fútbol so much, get back to school and finish that. Maybe start a youtube channel about fútbol or the things i love. Keep connecting and listening to my inner child, keep him safe by being his voice, and also nurturing him and having fun with him, connect with healthy people realize, we dont need , at all, places that have become toxic. They actually weigh us down. We dont need no permission of a narc or a narc system, to shine our light, take our space, share our voice, talents, passions, with world authentically, assertively, and in a connecting and loving ways with safe people, We dont need no narcs permission for that, we can shine anyway , its our birthright, its our bill of rights, to stay authentic to shine, to take our space, and let em, get the narc injury or whatever , or try to project, we're informed about narc abuse, have a healing journey, and have integrity towards ourselves and healthy boundaries because of people like them that are jealous and want what we have out of entitlement. Lets keep healing, knowing our authentic selves, allowing them to emerge more, by honoring them , and protect the authentic self, and nutruing them, with the help of the communities, and God.......... stay away narcs! slowly and gently , we are getting into thrivingg :) by honoring our inner children, staying true to ourselves, having gentle self compassion, and self protection , and living life, and going through the states of healing ... badabing badabannnnn

No contact? :) I think i tried No Contact probably like, at least a dozen times. I couldn't do it. I was like an addict. It was so sad, really. I just couldn't stay away from him. Until now. The light switch had gone on recently, when i realized he was ashamed of me. The moment of truth for me was that moment. I was like: "WTF?!??". I had to tell myself at least 50 times that i didn't need his shame. I might have mentioned this before, but i sent a letter to his family as well, telling them who i was, in case they didn't know he was seeing me all these years. I don't case now if he has someone else, what he wants to do, who he's with - I truly don't care anymore. I am SURE he will play the victim. I only feel sorry for the next woman that falls into his trap.

Ive been struggling for years now with my nar husband. This week I finally just realized its hopeless, he will never change or even give an inch. I finally told him I was done and have been fighting all week with him. I just blocked him. I tryed so hard and I am in so much pain right now. The worst part is knowing hes going to go lie and smear me to his Mom and friends and anyone he talks to. Hes blaming me and even accussing me of cheating. Hes the only cheater. I would never. It just hurts I wish the truth could be acknowledged by him privately even. Whats really sick is I believed his lies ab his x. Now hes going to do that to me and another woman will fall for it. I left my ones music label in Atlanta he acted like things were getting fixed and ghosted me for revenge after saying I love you on phone & text after I first left. He lived a double life treated me like shit thinking I’d never leave even cheated with a new supply and had the hidden fiancé. Bought a Fake Christian Dior bag too to win me back once new supply left once he used her for a 3sum I refused. Never again hate him but he triggered me to write 3 potential hit songs one Superstar that comes out March 3rd unmasking the loser.

I did not blocked him just refused to meet with him than started the blaming process an started threathen me, than I told him that I never want to see him again. That is so disrespectful, and blocked him. For me easier if I am telling my opinion about his behaviour, I am tired of eggshells...When is life danger than I am disapearing and blocking him everywhere change the location , identity.

I left my narcissist boss after 21 years. His parting words were I was terrible at my job, which I know isn't true. He was just trying to guilt me and get a reaction out of me, which I didn't give him. I blocked him on my phone and Facebook. My life is and will be better without him in my life.
