Watch the IWF World Cup | www.weightliftinghouse.tv Rahmat Erwin Abdullah snatched 160kg for reps, Tian Tao and Liu Huanhua squatted to a max, Team Philippines, Brazil, and Venezuela turned up, and we are now up to 10 new world records!
Seeing Tian Tao and Liu Huanhua @4:56 has caused me to question what is the max weight a barbell can carry? And Lee Sang-Yeon really did add on some pounds. He's still proportioned as the last time I've seen him though. And it was good to see Shi again. The last competition that I saw him in he was in obvious pain.
Lasha did a 594 lb. clean and jerk in training. Poland's Krzysztof Wierzbicki who achieved a 502.5kg (1,107.8lb) in the deadlift. Does this answer your question?
after trying it out myself, I walk out forward whenever the circumstances allow it. Give it go you will feel the difference. It's not a huge difference but it's a bit easier to set up yourself when you walk forward (because that's what we're used to). Another thing - albeit a little thing: when walking forwards and stopping the bar's momentum is pushing against you not away from you or against your hands (in the back squat). Walking backwards with weights is a bit trickier so it's better to use that for the rerack where it doesn't matter when you stumble a little.
