i worked with a dude that was always calling out, one week he only worked 4 hours. He grabbed his check and sat at the table with us and opened it, and i watched his soul leave his body in 4k.😂😂😂

It was more I was mentally disconnected from the job than anything and I just kept calling out. Hell all 5 of my granparents died within 6 months at one of my old jobs and when I went to the next job the hiring manager said "So I made a few calls and just hope that there isn't anymore deaths in your family" and left it at that. I immediately knew what he meant without saying it. If I call out I'm done basically. This was back in 2019-2020. Now I am there everyday on time and even have been coming in a hour early just to prove a point. Don't be 7 dollar guy or me. Put in the hard work and when you see them checks at the end of the pay period BBOOOOOOIIIIII
