I've seen a lot of free access to beaches and river around the country. as for paid beach I have no problem because at least I know it's clean and have a lifeguard, my taught if it was free people would be dumping garbage all over the place like what they do on the streets and throwing garbage through the car windows.
70% percent of Jamaicans are just nasty, you build a beautifil beach in the area and come back in six month. It will be a totally different area, to look at.
Here's the thing access to shores of the beach for navigation (walking through) and fishing is unrestricted for miles. It takes money and effort to maintain the beaches. When people need access, what they really want is maintainable spaces with amenities. It takes financing to do this. When the nation start producing more, in order to get income from external sources (exports and tourism), then there will be fiscal space to develop these areas. Even when they are developed both private and public spaces need to be regulated so that many others can benefit from the space. So, people ranting over public beaches need to bear this in mind.
I can’t understand why these people always saying there’s no more free beaches Jamaica 🇯🇲 surrounded by the Caribbean Sea 🌊 people could volunteer and clean up some of these beaches and use them up instead of bashing the governments about their no more public beaches
Nobody is blasting the government, but did you know that Fort Clarence, was run by the government and cost about $200 dollars to enter until it was lease to Guardsman Group, and we now have to pay $1000 Jmd to enter. That was my chilled spot.
@@droneviewja wow that’s crazy I see a group of people protesting about that there are no more free beaches all the hotels owners take them over by building these hotels
Please sir stop putting out propaganda. I read that the government will be doing some development in the Portmore area simular to Harmony Beach Park. Guys we are not a rich country, Kingston does need a place like Montego Bay. We use to have a b😢each in Kingston called Gun Boat Beach, that closed in the 70’s. But it’s coming.
