Yo these comments are mad often in these type of videos. Why are people coming after small channels. Gotta be bots My fault bro I was unfamiliar wit your game. And your joke sucked to me.
I think the biggest issue people have with The Kid Laroi is how he pretended to be poor, yet in reality he was going to private schools, paid by his dad - who's a known music producer and sound engineer.
you know people go up and down in life right? just because he went to a private school once doesnt mean he was rich his hole life, how hard is that to understand lmao
My fiance is from New Zealand she grew up poor in south auckland and still went to private schools, that's normal in New Zealand and Australia going to a private school has nothing to do with being rich...
Industry plants have been around forever its not a new concept. Before social media almost every label pushed artist from the ground up put them in “artist development” etc
Literally. Artists before social media either had to audition for a label, become famous locally, send demos, or know someone. Still, happens today. It’s just that labels look for numbers over talent.
That’s true but I’m glad they are getting what they deserve now. The industry is evil and they need to be called out and ruin their chances of getting money.
@loogie. Have you been living a rock or something dude? Or maybe you have stunted brain development. Tf you mean"sorry for what"‽I hope all your friends switch up on you too. See if you feel the same
Exactly. There are so many talented hardworking arists out there that we dont need to fake new ones, but industry labels want someone they can control completely.
Well, whe was actually talented, its just like dang lyong about your whole persona is weird, I can't fathom actually going through with tattoos on the face too when you were never like that @@lt3880
@@NickyNicest she was a terrible artist and she had a look that they believed was marketable. She was willingly in on the scam and would have continued scamming music fans if nobody had pointed anything out. She wanted to be famous and was eager to do whatever it took to get there, including permanently tattooing her face. She was committed and failed. She could have taken the opportunity to actually improve her skills and squeeze out whatever talent was available, but she clearly didn’t do that. It everything is on the label and management.
@@Godsbackhand7 i dont like her music but how would that have been a scam lol. Even if they bought tix they'd be getting what they payed for, they'd be buying the music the fake backstory is not what they were selling it was to sell the music
by definition that's what they are. there are two types of industry plants the nepobabies and the random nobodies that gets a lucky shot and gets heavily backed by a label and they try to mysteriously cover up their fake ass came up and make it look "authentic." just bc you're a nepobaby doesn't mean you'll get on. coi leray was put on by her ex trippie, her own dad built then obliterated his own legacy. also, if t.i's son king came out with an album, no one would listen to it.
they most likely tried to copy babymetal, the japanese group with actual talent. the g is before m as well, so it would come up first in search engines.
Back in the day every pop star was an industry plant, someone the labels picked up and crafted. It’s just that now we can see it happening with a little window we didn’t have before.
@@luke8404tapped in with the white boys? I don’t know one melanined brother that bumps THE KID LAROI. Like just by the name you could at the very least infer that.
The way you mention everyone else but yourself. You’re a true gem amongst your generation and probably everyone around you. I assume you have some outstanding and supportive parents. Your video has nothing to do with you or who you are. Yet you manage to show the world who you really are. I wish you nothing but the best of luck, not that you need it.
I feel bad for Baby goth, it's pretty obvious girlie wasn't financially well like Kid Laroy so her state now feel even more shitty. And she has a kid too.
You said industry plants was fairly new with Baby Goth. Hate to break it to you but industry plants have been here for almost a century and probably longer. To use rap as an example, Sugarhill Gang are some of the most well known industry plants.
I guess now we acting like only a few of them are industry plants. Almost every single pop star nowadays is an industry plant. Interesting video though
I performed along side Jumex a bit ago last year and needless to say he fell off hard. He literally left his own album release show mid set of one of the openers
Baby goth wasn’t bad, I think she should of kept making the original type of music she was before the switch. She has a decent voice, I think she should of just practicing and getting to know her sound
i'm actually not against industry plants because I'm middle class. I can't imagine having a kid who has an interest and talent in music and not sending them lessons, and I know people in hollywood even though i'm nowhere near hollywood just from church. Also, it'd be weird and frankly quite painful for any new musician over 30 to not go to school for music. so many people go to school for music in every college and I'm glad that someone in university choir has gotten a singing job.
5:55 “she didn’t have a personality so we gave her one” so out of all of them, you gave her the MOST GENERIC, TRENDING image? Bruh needs to not be in charge of anything ever
now do post malone! also i met jumex and he curved my offers to help produce him, and i think he made a mistake with that. he was just finishing a session and mentioned having a manager. but his story is extremely similar to post malone, who posted his first song on soundcloud, which got tons of views super fast
9:37 What's wrong with her having an Onlyfans page? She is beautiful, why not cash in on that? No artist these days has any integrity, it's ALL about getting that money. What's wrong with her getting a piece? Your judgmental comment is just garbage.
Honestly it feels like if you're signed to a label you're an industry plant. There aren't really any artists that 100% start from nothing without any help.
Alanis Morrisette is a well known one in the 90s. She did bubblegum pop before alt music got hot, and got completely rebranded. Lots of big artists have tried to buy up and destroy old albums.
every single artist who is mainstream under a actual record label, and not independent, is literally an industry plant they regurgitate the exact same shit at least these few artist weren’t about “murder, murder, drug drug, rape, your bitch”
Kid laroi clearly is not an industry plant, he was working hard and grinding music for years in australia, performing shows. Got a very lucky break and got recognition. How is this being an industry plant, thats WILD. He wasn't farmed up, he just was talented and got recognised for it.
im australian and barely knew shit about laroi but id heard that "he's a houso" story and never believed it for a second. if he was really red hot he'd be slinging shard instead of sooking over autotune
BABYGOTH IS ACTUALLY living out here in Las Vegas where I live she’s currently dating a local rapper in the scene who goes to all the parties in my friend circles & he cheats on his on her damn near all the time LMAOO
Apparently her of has a 7 day free subscription, girl is putting it all out for free, Shes naturally gorgeous and she got so much work done fake tits fake ass tummy tuck fillers and looks completely fake now, but she's still bad af she looks good
I saw BG live she was opening for Kodie Shane in like 2019 and it was so awkward like she was tryin hard. Once I looked her up I knew she wasn’t serious about it.
I watched it back, I get it now, it was poorly done, but he was tryna use lil peep as an example of the "original artist" that baby goth copied. its just the way it was done could have been more effective, like a green checkmark or an "Authentic" pop up next to peep, and then a fake pop up next to baby goth when he was showing the comparison
I KNEW baby goth looked familiar. About ten years ago we both went by different names and were mutuals on insta, just egirling it up. 😂 I erased my online presence, changed my name and moved to Miami. She got famous as baby goth 😂 lowkey proud of her though. She worked so hard to try and get up there previously. I remember her wedding and how excited she was when she first dropped music. It's insane how the brain can forget a whole-ass person.
Oh shit, that's sad the label thought she was so untalented... If she had never signed and had just gone thru tiktok she might have popped off somewhat.
The one inaccuracy I gotta point out is being an industry plant wasn't a new concept back when Baby Goth came out. Maybe it was new to emo rap, which was still a fairly new subgenre at the time in general, but labels manufacturing artists and giving them a faux "from the bottom" appearance has been going on for decades. Kid Rock, Vanilla Ice, and Sugarhill Gang are all industry plants from way back.
its like the height of punk in the US. You would always find these people saying anarchy in the UK wearing leather jackets with rinds, a bunch of spikes, patches of popular bands, and tattered and torn shirts claiming to be in a band. I could take one look at her or any of them and know they were frauds.
Nah man you want to look like sexy redd and be known for making dogshit music? Not to mention that your fame will disappear before you know it because of the ever changing music industry?
