E-BIKES PART 1.5 - WHERE CAN I RIDE? 🚴♀️⚡ You heard it here folks! E-bikes are allowed wherever regular bikes are allowed!
1️⃣ Unless there are signs specifically prohibiting them.
2️⃣ If there’s a bike lane, use it, unless you are making a left turn, passing, or approaching a place where a right turn is allowed.
3️⃣ You may not ride on the sidewalk with a willful disregard for safety. If you must ride on sidewalks, do so at a walking pace and yield the right-of-way to pedestrians.
4️⃣ You must travel in the same direction of traffic and have the same requirements as any slow-moving vehicle.
🚳 Per Anaheim Municipal Code 13.08.120, you must ride on designated bike paths. Class 3 e-bikes are prohibited from being ridden on bike paths.
Check out our previous e-bike video “ELECTRIC BIKES PART 1 - E-BIKE CLASSIFICATIONS” to find out what class your e-bike is. Knowing the class of your e-bike will tell you where and how you can ride! 🚴♀️
