Where did the airlines park their airplanes? // WOW!!!

Victorville California is currently one of the largest airplane parking lots in the world due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In this video, in coordination with air traffic control (ATC), I fly a dramatic low approach in my Grumman Tiger over the closed runway that is currently home for over 400 unused jets. After that, we fly over the peak bloom of the Antelope Valley poppy fields to see an explosion of color in the Mojave Desert.
Background:
Global airline travel has been dramatically affected as a result of the corona virus and as a result, the airlines have been temporarily storing their fleet at select locations to wait out the current crisis. Southern California Logistics Airport (KVCV) in Victorville, California is one of the primary storage depots for Delta, Southwest and FedEx. It is also one of the largest airplane boneyards in the USA. ComAv is the company that stores and manages these aircraft. It is home to dozens of Boeing 737 Max jets as a result of their recall in 2019. In addition, you can find many other jets, including Boeing 747, 757, and 767 aircraft. There are also Airbus A310, A320 and McDonnell-Douglas MD-10 and MD-11 aircraft. KVCV was recently also the home for the next generation Air Force One Boeing 747-8 jets.
SuperBloom
Every spring in the deserts of Southern California, many colorful flowers bloom and present an amazing display across the desolate and rugged landscapes. While usually an extremely popular location for selfies, many of these locations are closed down because of the corona virus and unable to be seen by many.
I want to give a big shout out to the tower controllers at KVCV that were kind enough to let me do a flyover on the closed runway to see all the airplanes.

As a pilot for one of the majors who just deposited a jet to the now full KSBD, thank you for your video. The music overlay and cinematography with controller audio was perfect. I really liked your poetic description of all the idle jets at KVCV. Airline pilots like myself whom often complain about long days, unruly east coast controllers, bad weather, and the hazards of being on the road half of every month suddenly have an appreciation for what we took for granted. Air travel is a true modern marvel and should be cherished.

Nothing like a little pandemic to bring us all back to reality. I think all of us have taken way too much for granted in this country. All the bitching and whining we do everyday should stop. Collectively we should be thankful for what we have.

As a flight attendant from Southwest, it is sad to see so many of any aircraft sitting out there, no matter what airline or company they represent. Like you said, they hold so many stories within the wingspan of each and every one and have so many more to make. They just need to take off and have the opportunity to do so. I have faith that will happen. That is all we have. Thank you so much for doing this and sharing this with us. As surreal as it is to see, it is beautiful as well.

xxx ooo I need to apologize for the other comments.. They Just Don’t Know. Nothing against them or anyone. If you don’t know about Things. You just don’t know.. Like there’s Lots I don’t know about. BUT, Everything that’s happened over the past 4 years. That’s also showed what’s been going on for the last 150 years. Plus what Will happen over the Next 5 years. I’ve researched 18/7 a week for 4 years and counting. Me and actually it’s been quite a few millions of people who knew something wasn’t right with all that was going on Against Trump. That opened up a huge can of worms. Then came Q.. Believe what you will about Q.. If u knew what I know..? You’d understand as well. I’m not here to convince you of anything. I will suggest that of anything I do say.. Research it all yourself.. That’s What Any Real Truther will tell you.. Not your wrong. I’m right. And that’s it. lol. I tell All of anything I ever say, Please do research it yourself. So you too can Factually Prove or disprove anything u hear from Anyone. 👍👍. The reply that the World will not have a Financial Crash. I’ve factually proven is so very wrong. We will be getting a Whole brand new Financial System.. Called the Qautum Financial System. All digital currency. All Fiat (Paper money will be phased out over a one year period) But in order for that too happen, The World, Every Country will have to go Bankrupt.. Thankfully, it’ll only last maybe 10 days at most. Only if there’s issues bringing the new system online. So to answer your Question. Yes it will happen. But with the new system plus the Replublic of America (That’s going back to our original Legal name. We’re not the United States. Only Washington DC is called the United States). If you look up the “Act of 1871”. On the Website Ferderaljack.com You’ll learn all about that. This is what I do. I’m a disabled guy with nothing but free time. I’m able to put lots of time into learning all the truth about so many things we’ve been lied to about for many many decades. There’s just way too much for me to explain it all. Just know Everything will be ok. Every life on earth Will change. Things will never be the same again. All the truths about everything Will be told to the World. When this whole mission Trump and our military are on is over. They’ll be no more poverty. All will live comfortably. There won’t be any crime. A whole new Government and Political System. Everything we’ve been buying from China. No more. Most made here in America. The rest will be from India. There’s a huge list of all new ways of doing things. We’ve had far in the future technology already here for over 60 years. Just wait till you see what’s possible. What can really be done. All diseases will have cures. We Already have them. Free Energy thru the Air. Like wifi. That’s what all the 5G antennas are for. 👍👍👍. Plus 5g is harmless. They type we’ll be using. There is bad 5G. There’s 6G. But all safe. The entire worlds media is attempting to stop Trump and all these great things. Because it’ll take the NWO out from controlling the world like they’ve been doing. Your whole life and world Will Change. Just all for the better. I’ll end like I end all my findings from researching. Research it all yourself. And or, You’ll See. God Bless My Friend. WWG1WGA. 🙏🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇😇❤️❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The visuals were great as was the audio and the story of these planes being stored was a story I haven't heard before your video. Imagine the mechanical attention every single plane is going to require before take off again and the enormous TRAFFIC JAM!
@jgnnarvaez
@jgnnarvaez 5 месяцев назад
In reality, every single aircraft there required attention throughout the time they were in storage, not just to return them back to service. There were special preparations that had to be made to put the aircraft in a preservation state and storage, and there were mandatory checks that had to be performed on them every week, every month, every three months, and so on for whatever length of time the aircraft spent there (some of them more than three years). I was one of the many people who supported this effort, many several trips there during the pandemic and my son was one of hundreds of people who lived temporarily there for more than three years performing all these required maintenance tasks during storage.
