I wholeheartedly agree. It doesn’t matter whatever wrong unbiblical theology we have been taught. When we research for ourselves, the biblical truth is transparent: the dead cease to exist the moment their spirit leaves their bodies and returns to God, awaiting the resurrection where we will all be judged for our good and bad thoughts, motivations and actions.

One of the problems that ‘We walking the earth - in the here & now’ are relating too, is Time. We are constrained by seconds, minutes, hours, days, etc - YeHoVaH isn’t - when we pass from this corrupted body, and then ‘Step out of the earthly time constraints’, we can only fathom what will await us, and who will welcome us - Yes we read our Scriptures, and listen from scholars, and are Blessed by our Rauch HaKodesh’s guidance & instructions. Yet, there is merely the unknown. This is an example of why we need to compare Scriptures with other scriptures. When Jesus told about the rich man and Lazarus, where exactly was Lazarus ? And when Paul testifies that he was in Heaven after being stoned, where exactly was he ?

He went to his grave, he slept and will continue to sleep until the judgement...

Millions and millions have had what is called near death experiences, and declare are instantaneously aware of being "in the spirit". Most have heavenly experiences, some hellish. Some for days in heaven while their body is in coma. But Michael, on the basis of a "misplaced comma" tells it different, and calls all those millions are just wrong .Sure.

The "Body" rose on the third day... I think the most important message of the thief on the cross is that we don't have to do works to go to Heaven. So many religions involve works based salvation. The thief is proof that it is faith based. He can't do works. He also can't have a baptism by water, he's dying. If you come to someone that's been shot and is bleeding out, the best thing you can do for them is to give them Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

The real meaning of the word 'Paradise' is: A Gentile 'Eden', using the pagan term. Gentile monasteries were like Jewish monastic schools in using the image of an 'Eden'. The David was their 'Adam ( also called the 'Gardener' - John 20: 15). In Rev. 2:7, Peter will eat...in the Paeadise of God', meaning that he will preside at communion meals in Saducce Gentile monasteries. But Gentile monastics were defined as equals of 'apostles', that is, Jewish monastics who had been excluded to the south-west area for sin, so their 'Paradise' was equal to a Jewish latrine. For this reason the word of Jesus to the other 'thief' on the cross, Simon Magus ( see more about the word 'thief' at the end of this)"Today you will be with me in Paradise" were an ironical prediction of what did happen, that they were put in the burial cave at the end of the esplanade (in Qumran) which was also the Sabbath latrine, Now a word about 'thief'. I love this channel and appreciate all of Michael food’s teachings and wisdom. But I have to say that he was always a little too hateful when judging others. He really needed to check his tongue but he was really good at condemning everyone else. I have no doubt he will be in heaven. But I think he may be reaping a bad harvest now physically because of all the hatred and judgment. I’m not saying that to be mean OR funny. But it is my serious and sincere concern… And as far as Christian television: I managed one small market TV station years ago. TBN’s 5th oldest station. And I don’t think Michael or anyone else realizes what the funds go to. My ONE, small station in a small market had a studio/office building, and a Transmitter location an hour away. And let me tell you, and this was 25 years ago- The electric bill for the one station studio, for one month, was $1,000. The electric bill for our full-power transmitter was over $9,000 a MONTH. So, $10,000 a month just for the electric bill-And That’s ONE SMALL station. And they had many. So please do your research before the finger pointing. That’s all I’m encoring others to do.

Amein!! Now can you tell me why the 2 gospel accounts of the theives on the stake report differently? One says what you just quoted and the other says that both thieves mocked Yeshua. It would appear that this is another case of the scriptures being altered to suit catholic doctrine of death bed confession.

As though they have to explain some truth to The King of Kings and Lord of Lords!! I sadly was psychotic with schizophrenia for 50 years ,but happily God healed me may 10 of 2017 . If I am finally normal it's taken me 6 years to get that way. Yes, their WORKS will be judged by fire. Some will be saved "as if out of a burning house". There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. BELIEVE on the Lord and you WILL be saved. BELIEVE. Not work. You can't earn a free gift. Works strengthen our witness and are good to do, but they cannot save.

The dead do not exist and hence have no time consciousness. Genesis 3:19, Ecclesiates 9:10. That man will open his eyes after he is resurrected more than 2,000 years later and he will look around for Jesus who was next to him. Compare Acts 24:15. However, as Jesus promised, that man will find himself in paradise. The earth having being transformed to a Paradise. Jesus however, will be in heaven ruling earth from there.

When I cite all the passages in which Jesus says he will be dead for 3 days and nights, those who think he was in paradise, CAN'T GET AROUND the Bible having glitches, especially the one comma in the wrong place. That is their option. Either the thief is dead, and the comma is in the wrong place, or Jesus is a liar, and the whole resurrection of the dead tenant, is bogus.

My question, you have understood that the garden of God had another name called paradise, but could it also have a third name called Abraham's bosom? Is it possible that when Adam and Eve were put out of the garden of God, it sunk below the earth and became the place where all the children of God would stay until the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said no man went to heaven, where he came down from in John 3:13, meaning all the children of God had to wait somewhere, is it not possible they waited in Abraham's bosom, meaning the garden of God or paradise, until Christ would die, and then go into paradise with the thief on the cross on the same day. This seems to make more sense than other interpretations of the bible that are given. As for your teaching, it appears to leave you with more questions, the thief dies and then he supposed to go into paradise to eat from the tree of life, in the new heaven and new earth, but is not this longer than one day, even if you spiritualize a day equals a thousand years, we are speaking about 3 days going into the fourth day before what you are suggestion can happen.

So I'm just trying to understand . What about leading the captivity from the days of Noah. During the 3 days and nights in the grave. People believe the body was in the grave, but Yeshua was in the spiritual realm during that time.

Jesus descended to preach the gospel to the captives during the 3 days before the resurrection!

Had to disagree on this one, Jesus went to paradise the moment He died, paradise is just not what we think it is. We can see in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man that both went to Sheol but separated, the righteous were with Abraham (paradise) and the others were not in a nice place... This is where everyone went after Adam's choice to believe the deceiver, all born into Adam's fallen state, born into bondage, satan having a claim on all of us. This changed the moment Jesus died without sin, satan had no authority to take His life, the purpose of Jesus's manifestation as man. Jesus defeated satan and the claim he had on all of us, so yes Jesus went to paradise to fetch those who were there then took them with Him to heaven. Under the new covenant paradise is empty....

Dear brother Michael Rood, I strongly disagree with your placement of a modern comma. I realize that I could be in error, but my research suggests that Yeshua died on Thursday, the day before Pesach in 33 AD and that He escorted the thief on His right hand to the Paradise mentioned by Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4. I don't know whether there is only one Paradise or more, but the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek all read Luke 23:43 as today you will be with me in Paradise (without the comma) and yes, no commas nor even sometimes no spaces in these languages at that time in history. I believe that after Paradise, Yeshua went to Hades and preached and later He arose on Sunday before light (3 days and 3 nights). Friday was a high Shabbat and Saturday is the normal Shabbat. It was always my understanding that Paradise that Yeshua Yoshia was referring to was the Bosom of Abraham, which is no longer since Yeshua Yoshia conquered death. Luke 16:19-31
