I do film very much in a stream of consciousness and sometimes the right words or phrases fail me. It’s not an excuse, though. Thank goodness for another day to learn and to be better 🙏. This was so much fun! You definitely have a flair for decorating and I envy that massive bookcase. I have about 40 decks and for now am keeping them all displayed in my bedroom in this weird little shelving unit that has multiple tarot-sized cubicles. If (when) I acquire more cards I’ll have to get more creative about storing them but this works for now. I have books everywhere and have regretfully pared down on those - I really have a hard time letting go of my stuff!
Getting rid of stuff is hard! I definitely have fewer books than I use to and that is because we have downsized a couple of times as my kids left home for college. We decided that we hated moving books! But...now we will have to contend with my decks the next time we move 😆!
Fun video! I love seeing room tours and how to store decks vids. I have a tarot room. All of my decks are on white shelves with custom made tiered units on each shelf that my husband designed and made. I can see all my decks at a glance. I have a unit for tarot and one for oracle/astrology/other decks. Between the two shelving units is the big window and we made a desk top that spans and connects to the units and that's were I do my readings. I have deboxed many of my decks and store them in organza bags. I like those because I can see what I'm looking for without opening each bag. I like being very organized and having all my decks and books in one place. And I like being able to shut the door and keep my tarot space private. The entire room is white, bright and uncluttered. Like you, I don't have lots of "witchy" stuff. I did the whole crystals, new agey stuff in the 90's. Don't like clutter around my reading space. You have a GREAT collection! Thanks for sharing!
Your room sounds like a little piece of heaven! I already have 2 rooms to myself...a sewing room and an exercise room. I end up doing my tarot in my sewing room...reading and filming videos! I haven’t been doing much sewing lately 😆!

It has taken me 3 hours to watch this because I keep pausing to check out your books and nik naks, and stopping to look up decks on Google (other search engines are available 😂). My book wish list is now ginormous.😍 I love how you have incorporated your decks as part of your self displays - they are definitely works of art, worthy of display🤗. Love your trolleys as well. As you know, my decks are (mostly) in a suitcase which I open up on my bed everyday and I keep my collection to a manageable size. However, although I am a minimalist, I am extremely envious of your collection and would truly love a day in your house to play with all your decks💖💖💖

Where do I sign up?! Sounds like the best day EVER!😍😍😍 I am pretty good at making tarot bags (all of mine are hand sewn as I don't have a sewing machine) and my finger painting has been compared to Picasso. Throw in some dark chocolate and strong coffee and I may never leave 😂😂😂

Phoebe, the bookcase is from IKEA! Ebooks are great space savers, but there is nothing like touching and flipping through the pages of a physical book! Did you read the Outlander Series?

Wow that book case! Hello Dark Mansion Tarot. Lol look at all your decks! I love how you have incorporated them with the books. I did watch the first season of Discovery of witches. The mons. I wish I had that. Lol oh man Bonestone! On my wishlist but it's so expensive right now. Oh what a great use for those crates. You have way way way more decks than me lol. How neat to see all of this. Your storage ideas are fantastic! I'm moving to a tiny home the next couple of weeks I'm not sure how I will be storing my decks but these are wonderful ideas and I'll do a VR once I'm out there and settled.
If you are moving to a smaller space I have one word for you...IKEA! That’s where I got my bookshelf from and you can make it as small or expansive as you want because it’s all modular. While I enjoyed the 2nd season of Discovery of Witches, I must say I was a little disappointed. I think there was some missed opportunities there, but I think I was disappointed because I read the books and that always happens! Yessss...do a video when you get settled in your new space!

Thank you 🙏! I’ve only been collecting for just a couple of years. I have a good size collection, though not as large as some. Thought it may not look like it, I do practice some restraint 😆! I feel like I’m still finding out who I am as a reader and what will resonate with me long term. Once that happens, I can see myself having a much smaller collection.
Don’t be embarrassed! I’m an old lady who has a little more time to clean up and organize my things! We all make the most of what we have. Finding ways to store our beloved decks is another fun source of creativity!
I love your amazing collection and the beautiful way you displayed them on your shelves and organized them in the wooden crates. Very impressive! I needed to make an Excel Spreadsheet to keep track of what I have and it’s been so helpful for my cards and books. I use bookcases and store them alphabetically. I wish I had your bookcases. My decks live on a shelf in my bedroom which they have already outgrown! My partner has tons of records so we each have our collections! Nancy, my husband collects vinyl too! He has the spare bedroom for his collection! Have you read the All Soul’s Trilogy...the books A Discovery of Witches is based on? The books are way better than the series. The books are written by an actual historian!

I have been watching a Discovery of Witches and I love it! I also love Civil War history and anything British. We have a LOT of the same books. I have to get that Jane Austen kit. Have you watched the Masterpiece Theater Victoria series? That's so good!
The goal is to keep everything easily accessible and storage capacity limited, so that I always know what I have and where it is. That’s the goal anyway 😉.

Love it 🥰 Nice and tidy! I store my decks in bins like the red ones behind you in your videos. I found really large bins that are black and white with butterflies/moths/beetles on them. I display other decks on my bookshelf and have the decks that I’m current using on my altar.
