That one must have hurt Intel engineers watching soooo bad. At at first they probably were like "Huh, we can match them next gen, no problem", but then their souls just left their bodies.
Yep, it sure is! 😀 The CPU landscape for AMD when they didn't have Ryzen yet was pretty terrible. The jump from my old FX-6300 to a R5 1600 was amazing. Still chews any game you throw at it in 1080p. 👌😎

Pre recorded, so it better be. It does look super fancy, they got the curved screen, smoke machines, reflective floor and beautiful slides that tied everything together. Though the most impressive was Zen3 obviously.
Bro it’s a fuckin billio dollar company. Get a grip, they don’t give a duck about you it’s always about money. If there was no competition then AMD or Intel would just milk us dry and throttle innovation more than they already are.
So TLDR: • 19% IPC increase and $50 increase for all CPUs across the board • 5900x is the first to hit 600+ points in cinebench • Basically makes intel irrelevant for both price and performance • Nov 5 release • 400 series mobos won't get the required BIOS to support Zen 3 until Jan 2021 • no bike announcement

What this lady has done for the industry and consumers is a short time is inspirational. Her and AMD have changed the entire landscape not just for gaming. I know right. When Lisa Su joined AMD, everything has been going really well for them. Really appreciate her hard work and of course all the work from the engineers at AMD that helped disrupt the market so people don't have to pay 350$ for 4 core 8 threaded cpus.
I mean, I think it's a very smart marketing tactic, to downplay the difference a bit, so when 3rd party benchmarks are out, it will be even better than promised. It has a fresh feeling and makes you want to buy it even more.
To be frank.... this is the fourth year of the same core\$ ratio. It's basically been almost like Sandy>Ivy>Haswell>Skylake in terms of node shrinks. So AMD isn't really... doing anything that Intel hasn't done before. If Zen 4 doesn't change the core\$ status quo - people might start joking about the octacore stagnation of AMD.
You missed the point. The difference in IPC gained, overall performance and efficiently of the processor from first to forth gen is significant. Unlike Intel...
