Hope you are doing well, I did hear a bit about you at our art show in Clayton. We’ll have our dock still in Chippewa this year, but also a dock in Clayton where my Lyman will usually be. Been in South Carolina since just after Christmas, headed back mid February.

I've never had one of my wooden boats in Black Lake, but I did take my ski boat there years ago. It looks nice, but I'd have to learn the trouble areas before I was to take an inboard there. Is that where you do all of your boating?

Hello I have a pair of marine hemi motors that came stock in my 1964 42ft hatteras. I repower the boat with a pair of Detroit motors at 1000 hours on the hemis. They have been sitting for about 30 years with cylinders filled with atf and crank case full of new oil. And carbs drained. Both motors fan flawlessly . I planned on using them someday but now don't have the time. Any idea what these are worth. They are %100 stock With consecutive serial#. And still have the maintenance logs and all the paperwork and repair books for both motors. I have had several people want to buy them but only wanted to pay for the motors without the related marine equipment and transmissions. They wanted to use them as racing motors but I feel they were made to be on the water. I would like to see them live on and get a fair price. Or just hold on to them untill they are even harder to find. But would like to see them on the water again. What do you think these are worth.

@glassgoat9601 off the top of my head no I don't know the model or serial. I can look for pictures of them. I do know they are 426 hemi marine motors which were the industrial motor. I have the motors in storage in Portland oregon we just moved to boise idaho. We got tires of the democrap bullshit We plan on going there end of June for family reunion and clean out storage. To haul them back. I may be going back sooner to show them to a guy restoring a criss craft yacht. If you want I can save this and reply back After I get back. Or maybe I can send my storage key to a friend and he can get pictures of the block numbers if your serious about it.
