People get so defensive over how they eat scones! The Cornwall/Devon debate drives me up the wall 😅. In my opinion, the correct way is dependant on how you view a scone. If you view it as a bread product (ie. toast, english muffin, croissant, crumpet, etc) then put the cream on first in the same way you would use butter, then jam-it-up after. Personally I view a scone as a cake product, so I do jam and a dollop of cream on top like I would a regular dessert. Both can be correct, its all about perspective ✌
