Where Hollywood Keeps Its Iconic Props | Movies Insider

We took a trip to the Warner Brothers Corporate Archive in Los Angeles, California. This is where a lot of old props go from their movies once production is done. We saw a whole lot of stuff from the "Batman" franchise, including Batmobiles and Batman's many masks.
We also saw items from "Suicide Squad," "The Matrix," and "Harry
Potter." The newest thing we saw were outfits from 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians." Despite starting in just 1992, the Warner Brothers Corporate Archive goes way back. You can also find props and costumes from "My Fair Lady" and John Wayne. While the archive is not open to the public, much of this stuff goes on tour.

All studio tours give access into the prop houses. For example the one on Universal backlot “Edith head” was seen in Big Fat Liar. If you go to film school in LA film students get to use the non famous props for their student films.

One hopes that the Universal fire in 2008 made them a whole lot more cautious. If you want to feel really bad you can read up on what was lost in that fire, but if you are a music fan, I'd give it a miss.

About 1-2 years ago, I went to a car show in my area. Among other famous cars, was the armored batmobile from Batman V Superman. I have photos that I took with my family at this event and everything, and I just found it sooooooooo cool when this happened.

When visiting Warner's Studio in 2018, I actually got lost in the part of the tour where you go through what i think it's a small section of that, and I ended up messing with a bunch of props, from a super nintendo to a baseball bat and there were bunches of other stuff there too, that I got to see, well, until my Dad came to pick me up so they could continue the tour.
