This hike was my first ever solitude hike in San Simeon CA. The first time I hiked this, I truly thought it was magical. It's even below a castle, Hearst Castle. It remains one of my favorite solitude hikes. I came back in December, 2023 and filmed this.

I find myself saying that a lot out here.. haha I'm working on my Smith Peak hike I did wknd before last - trying to have out before the 4th! But so many parts I'm saying hell yea 😁

One of our faves in the area...the edges looked a bit rougher last time I was out that way in July, but that little bit of beach used to be relatively easy to climb down to at the right spot.
