Thank you so much for making this video. You should be so proud of yourself for speaking out about this and raising awareness. I have a little girl (18 months old) and although I have never had postnatal depression, I can definitely relate to some of what your saying. I have had times where I have felt incredibly lonely. I've been at home with this tiny baby depending on me for everything and I've found it overwhelming. I found it particularly difficult when she was newborn until 7 months as she just didn't sleep and I was so sleep deprived and exhausted. I love my baby girl with all my heart and just because you feel these things doesn't mean you don't absolutely adore them. I am so glad that you seeked help and that the medication is making things better for you and Leo. All I can say is that it gets easier. It really does. They are everywhere and in to everything but they interact so much more and you can understand what they want/need. I'm glad your feeling like you have more of a bond now. He is so beautiful :) How was your first day by yourself? xx
Thank you very much. The first day went really well. He napped really well, fed well, was a little fussy in the afternoon, but I gave him a dose of Calpol, he settled down and we have him a bath. We even managed to catch him on video rolling from his front to his back! Loved that!!!

Can i just say this sounds so similar to my first baby. Pnd, reflux, gord, milk protein allergy etc. Thankfully 2 years on and were both happy and healthy. Hopefully you stay happy and healthy hun. Take all the time you need
It's a hard time isn't it. Hopefully he grows out of it soon. The formula doesnt bother him now, but I can't help but think there must be more delicious things in the world for a little baba. x
