Such a powerful story and message. I’ve been a stay at home dad for the last year and half and it has been a struggle emotionally. I know I should see a therapist to unpack a lot of issues from my childhood up to now. I appreciate your perspective on how we need to look inward and not expect the outside world to give us the gratification in order to feel better about ourselves. Thank you for your authenticity.

I am kicking myself because I left a good (but extremely stressful) paying job for one that I don’t enjoy at all. It’s like everything about it says you don’t belong here but I am having trouble determining where I do belong. I left my last job with the intent to start my own business but then that didn’t happen the way I hoped and now I’m just basically working to pay bills. I feel so lost and defeated.

Linda! OMG! We love you so much. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. Thanks for sharing your experience. As a mom of 4 children, I know how hard it is to be a full-time mom and run a business, let alone a cancer diagnosis. My father had cancer years ago and it's such a scary road. Your family comes first and nothing else matters. Just know that we in the community love you so much and we know you have the strength to move forward with your family and life. ❤

In life there are circumstances that comes to give us a different perspective of life and how we live it. But the most important thing is how one comes out of it. There's a saying that " life gives us a test which teaches a lesson but education gives us a lesson that we'll be tested on." I'm happy to hear how, your family's situation has built a courageous woman like you even though it wasn't easy.. I like what you said about energy, which is why people need to know whether they're Christians or non-Christians that things start in the Spiritual realm before it manifests in the Physical realm for example "Job's story explains it best in the Bible." Another thing it's about"Self-esteem,self- doubt & thinking about what others will say, that's what made "King Saul in the Bible" lose his thorn because of it... which is important to always remember what "King Solomon in the Bible (Proverbs 18:2) said that whether you do good or bad people will always be opinionated about your life decisions.

Sorry to hear about your husband illness. God bless you and your husband. Life will always throw the challenges whenever there is an evil. Evil is nothing but absence of God. When we forget God the evil things take place. Please remember God has made all these five elements in our body, so he has right to take anything. But we can always get courage by chanting / remembering God through gratitude and appreciation. My challenges in life that I did not find my dream job due to lack of confidence and self-doubts leading to procrastinate my execution of efforts. This happens when a person over think and think too much about family, life partner and growing children. So I am trying remove all these blockages created by myself only. Though it is taking time to heal but I am always positive and to remain positive one's energy should not be down. And please remember - Love Heals Everyone.

I struggle with OCD (was diagnosed at 8 years old) and basically I'm haunted by these thoughts that I know nothing and that I might as well remain silent for the rest of my life because I have nothing valuable to add, no opinions, no nothing. I feel like I'm not enough in many aspects as well. It drives me crazy and sucks my energy and will to even live.

You emphasis on asking ourselves if we are really comfortable in our own skin especially in situations like work, family, or social gatherings where it can be easy to lose our authentic selves. I have a few questions on this topic: a) How do you generally define what "comfort" means for an individual? b) What if my comfort is causing discomfort for others? c) How do I strike a balance between my comfort and not making others uncomfortable? Thank you for providing an open platform for questions. I'm eager to hear your insights on this. ❤

I’m not typically one to make comments but I can relate to your story. I started following you about a year ago because I had recently went through a separation and was suddenly trying to support my 2 teenagers with a low paying job. Then in the end of Feb 2023 I was diagnosed with cancer so I had to put my job search on hold. I just completed my last chemo and have found that there’s nothing more important than living life in the present. I connect to your message and also decided that I do not have time to waste time living an unauthentic life❤. Best wishes to your husband and your family and thank you for your open and honest conversation.

I started following you when I was looking for advice on interviewing/negotiating. I appreciate the authenticity within this video. I'd also like to believe that hardships come to us because there is some sort of life lesson or perspective we are meant to experience. Currently struggling with coming to terms with the loss of my sister, it's been a little over a year but I can't seem to really accept it. I've tried to take her life ending as a reason to take my own to the fullest, "waking up", kind of re-realizing how short and precious life really is. Working on getting my own self together. Don't worry about how "all over the place" this video is, that's how life goes and I'm glad to see someone who is trying to help others with her own experience. I also try to do the same.

Hi Linda I followed you not too long ago when I was searching for a new accounting job. I followed your channel immediately because the way you communicate just resonate with me. And I think that your spiritual side is the reason you have the unique way of communication and we were connected through this flow of energy while I was job searching. I am sorry to hear about the life challenges you have been dealing with but I'm more happy that you are able to grow and complete yourself from the challenges. You talked about the need to become our authentic selves and that actually has been going in my mind for a quite a well. While I like my profession (accounting), I dont feel my soul can be truly enriched from doing my job. The thing that could make my soul feel enriched and being my true self is to do painting, discuss subjects around philosophy/literature/humanity,etc. Sometimes I wonder I could have chosen a field that better align with my true passion. I am thinking about exploring more related subjects that to find out my true passion in my free time but my work is busy. On the one hand I do want keep progressing in my accounting career on the other hand I want to discover my true passion (but my true passion may not bring income and I dont even know what I can so with it yet). However my work is busy and I can hardly find time to discover my true passion. This is also why I switched job but turns out the new job also pretty busy. Do you have any advices?

I had a similar upbringing in an Asian household being that shy girl and going through similar struggles with self identity, career driven motivation, pleasing my family and friends. I am 29 years old now and am learning to be more in tune with my feelings/intuition and learning from my challenges whatever they may be. With every challenge that presents before me I learn more and more about myself and build resilience. I believe that life is about being in the present and connecting with others. I'm also a highly sensitive people. And I'm struggling with my relationship with other people, whether its family, work or friend because I'm always overthinking that I always want an ideal flow of things but I remember someone told me that I also should understand that life is not always ideal, life will not always give you just good things even if you did your best, so yeah, that's the part of my life that I'm struggling. And now I just realized from hearing on this video that maybe when things go rough it's just a challenge for you to learn. Now that I've achieved those qualifications, i find myself in self doubt and scared of actually applying for my dream job. I'm scared that my dream job would reject me. I'm also fearful of the fallout, reactions and judgment from other people when i quit my current terrible job to switch careers to my dream job.

Hello Linda I was just wondering what you had become you were a great inspiration to me for several years. When I didn't see you, I said to myself that you had given birth as you looked pregnant. I didn't know that you had been through such a difficult time. I listened to your podcast twice and it really touched me. You are a brave woman I wish you the best! If you need something don't hesitate to get in touch whether it's through a podcast or simply by communicating directly with me. I don't know what I could offer you but in any case I am with you spiritually

I understand how difficult it is to be a caregiver. The emotional struggle of the patient and the caregiver can sometimes make life rough. Hope your husband's situation will get stable, and your family can find the balance. Sometimes we may have to embrace what life gives us and see it as a personal growth opportunity, this at least makes us feel more at peace and positive.

Hi Linda, I so respect and am inspired by your story and your newly ongoing outlook that reflects your truest self. And to communicate in your patented warm, sincere, and very presentable style. Though I haven't quite experienced the ongoing threat that you have, I come close, with my 90 year old parents transitioning to assisted living, selling their house, and being a caregiver to help them out after my workday, plus being on call for so many phone calls, doctor's appointments, all grocery shopping and drug store, really endless tasks, and this was all following and near death sepsis infection of my mom and her healing at home for months, I haven't had a break in 3-4 years. I totally get it. You have to lose yourself almost, there's resentment at life, and just shear daily exhaustion. I'm still trying to cope and slowing reclaim my life, but also with a renewed focus on what really matters to me. So I've gotten a better appreciation of life, more perspective, and that's been my lesson. I'm still so "in it", so I'm sure more will come clear over time, and I still have huge unimaginable challenges ahead with my parents mortality. So thank you for sharing your story and perspective, as it helps me a lot. I look forward to future videos by you 😊🙏

Prayers, Love and Light to you and your family, Linda. My current struggle is working from home at a job that pays great, has great benefits with a fabulous organization. However, it is totally unfulfilling. Perhaps this is just my own perceptions. Not only is it somewhat isolating, my husband works 60+ hours a week and I am the runner of the household. I struggle with feeling enough as a mom, wife, woman, etc. All I can do each day is push forward, continue on and keep a smile. Some days are easier than others but I would love to hear your thoughts on some of these topics.

Hi Linda, strangely enough, I was wondering just 2 days ago, it's been a while I have not received any emails from you, and there it goes, I just got your email today!😊 I have been struggling time to time on fear of judgement , am I performing to the expectations from my new boss and did I say or do somethings that my new colleagues might think otherwise...these feelings come and go like roller coaster ride ever since I left my previous job of 17 years, moving on to new job late last year..your past videos on work/interviews have always been encouraging and inspirational. It was one of the factors I have managed to move out of my comfort zone last year. And that's why I thought of seeing you and your videos again when I was feeling down just 2 days ago . *Hugs* to you and your family on this healing journey! ❤️ from far far away in SE Asia..Looking forward to your next video update! Take care
