I saw an interesting theory about how “we can’t be friends” is a song that Ariana wrote towards the media and for the way everyone has been publicly scrutinizing her. It’s especially prevalent when she says “I didn't think you'd understand me How could you ever even try?” “Just wanna let this story die” and “I don’t like how you paint me” and it makes perfect sense

For real! pet communicators are real, I've done it 2 with my dog, first time, the lady had me in tears! My dog told her things nobody that's not my really really close friend knows, the communicator did it from another city. I was able to ask impromptu questions, I tell you, it's real and it's amazing to be able to communicate with the dog you love

I make a tag to apply to my books that say 2024 audiobook (have this for each year I read them). I am also not an overly critical reader. I have tags to say physical, audiobook and then when I do immersion where you follow along the physical while listening, which says physical+audio. This combo works so well when characters actuall speak with an accent or a specific way, just reading wouldn't give you this experience. Just my way to keep track of how I consume the story.

Listening is reading. People who can't read or have a hard time seeing/reading for any reason use audiobooks as a way to still participate in the book world

You should use Storygraph to track your books if you want to track how you consumed the book. You can specify if it is was physical, ebook, or audio

Great episode! Last episode you guys were talking about Love On The Spectrum and we’re gauging the severity of someone’s autism. TJ was part of the scale. Is that TJ as in Erin’s husband? If so, did they do a video on it? I think it is really amazing to learn coping mechanism from people with high functioning autism. Just wondering. Or was it a different TJ?

A few things about the Kate Middleton photo scandal as a royal watcher: 1. The royals last appearance of the year is on Christmas day then they go on break till the second week of January. Kate surgery was mid January. 2. The palaces statement was so clear, she had surgery and she will return to public duty of Easter. 3. The Sussex squad ( harry and Meghan fans) on twitter hate William and Kate and they started the #whereiskate coming up with conspiracy theories like she's dead, William beat her and put her in hospital, she ran away, she wants a divorce, William wants a divorce etc. Then it picked up when William didn't attend the memorial service of his godfather. This lead to more speculation and conspiracy theories especially after William's cousin husband death was announced on the same day of William not attending the memorial service. (He committed suicide on a Sunday and it was announced on the Tuesday, former soldier, nearly died in war in Iraq). People then started accusing William of killing him because he got Kate pregnant 😂. People are wild. Anyway, this edited photo did not help end the conspiracy theories and here we are. Some useful information: Kate usually takes the official photography's of her family. William and Kate don't want a stranger coming into there home to take photos of there kids and this has pissed of the media because Kate owns the copyright of the photo. William and Kate are very private and give the press limited assess to their family. The press and the palaces have a deal, the press is invited to the public engagements but must leave the royal alone in private. This deal was made after Diana's death. This explains why the British press didn't publish the TMZ pics of Kate in the car with her mum recently. The rumour about William having an affair I don't believe because it looks like Rose and Kate are still friends, Kate attended a festival at Rose's estate last year ( photos online), Rose's son was 1 of the 4 page boys at the coronation alongside prince George, Rose and her husband attended, the rumour began in 2019 and in 2022 Pippa Middleton had a daughter and named her Rose ( I don't think her sister would give her daughter the same name as the rumoured other women. Kate has experienced so much press intrusion throughout the 20+ years of her in the public eye. Her phone was hacked 155 times, topless photos of her on vacation with William was published in the french magazine closer, paps outside her home, work, calling her a slut, whore, spitting at her to get a reaction whilst she at the airport, Australian radio prankster calling the hospital trying to get her medical information when she was hospitalised for 3 day for extreme morning sickness when pregnant with George. They quietly sued but she has never complained publicly. Anyway, I know this is long but my two worlds have collided (Your podcast and the royal family)

i think the reason why you felt like a fraud was because u dont consider audiobook consumption as reading. just think of it this way maybe, writing is a process of putting your thoughts into writing, which used to be in form of pen and paper but now can also be with a keyboard and a software. just like how reading used to be with a book and now with an audiobook. would you call blind people reading braille as feeling instead of reading? :)
