@@intboom Carcharodons are better served as a chimera chapter. Sev is a perfect fit for a "wandering ancestor". 100% my opinion and you are more than entitled to your own. With so much darkness/mystery in 40K it seems made for head canon.

@@richbattaglia5350 I doubt very much that Tyberos is Jago. I know a lot of Chaos marines are veterans of the heresy because of the influence of the eye, but out in deep space I’m guessing Jago is long dead either way. But he could definitely have been their founding leader

It's funny how we can look for "heroes" in the most depraved legion. In this case an enigmatic villain. Sevetar is a sociopath, bereft many parts common in humanity. He does not understand esthetic beauty and other propositions of value. He's learned how to respond like a human. But he is intelligent, patient, thoughtful, talented, dutiful, detached and a black hole all in one.

Sevatar having an interaction with Sigismund woudl be amazing. Especially with Sigi wanting to killl him but being told he can't. Sevetar becoming the unknown founder of Characharadons or Ashen Claws would be an amazing plotline that would feel good. Sometimes when mysteries are revealed by GW the answer isn't great, but this seems good. to me

I know some people give Sev shit for what happened in that one duel but he is still a great and fascinating character, one that had the balls to get up into his genefather's face and tell him the truth of what he thought about Conrad's methods. Respect for that.

@@ethanduncan726 a duel with Sigismund, they were basically evenly matched and the fight just kept going until Sevetar said screw it and head butted Sigismund. This resulted in Sigismund being declared the winner since Sevetar technically cheated, but he didn’t care about that.

Jago is something I really love with the traitor legions. He looks up to his father to a point. However, his father looks up to him. This is true for a lot of first captains of the traitor legions. Some for better. Some for worse. It's among the traitors you get such fascinating dichotomies. Angron and Kharn. Konrad and Jago. Mortarion and Typhus.

Sevatar is handsdown my favorite character and I've written a short story about his escape from the Dark Angels ship. Its only a few pages so far but I have plenty of ideas on how to add new situations while remaining true to the character. also I disagree with Sevatar not being needed in 41M. He is needed not as a leadership role for the Nightlords but rather a figurehead of what the true purpose of the Nighrlords always was meant to be *however* I do still think he needs to die but not before accomplishing some major goals.

@@joshuaruwhiu529 nah I'm not gonna post a link here but I will give you a general synopsis of what I've written so far. Takes place immediately after the events of the audio drama the Long Night. Basicly the Dark Angels discover a local Tyranid Hive scout tendril after the events of the Thramas Crusade so right after immediately shattering the 8th legion, the Dark Angels are put on high alert searching for a larger connected Hive to see if the worlds they just liberated in the Crusade will even be worth recolonizing or evacuating. Sevatar learns all this via psychic mind probing a basic shipcrewman and flicking out their teeth with his power armored gauntlet everytime he thinks they are lying. From there its an escape plan with a diversion I don't want to give away here but Sevatar takes Altani with him becase she will be killed for aiding him and she eases his psyker burden all while teaching him how to master his gifts in a way that won't kill him. From there getting off planet is risky but I'm thinking of making a rouge trader that's in too deep and on the run and willing to do anything to clear their name by even dealing with or turning in trator space marines. I'm still not that great at writting and find myself slightly meandering but I know if I go over it multiple times and re-edit my wording, I can produce something adequate.

There is a consistency in key elements of your portrayal that was very immersive. Whether this was extemporaneous or explicative of an already written text it really seems like you put a lot into the shape and direction of the character. Keep working, this had great sense and taste and evoked shakespearian vigeur in the shape of your delivery. Knock em out the box, Luke.

I surely surely hope he gets either a series of novels set during the scouring (think like the Dante trilogy) or at least fucking ONE book that isn't a novella. When we last saw him he committed himself to becoming what the Night Lords were supposed to be, unrelenting justice. I am a Space Sharks fan boy so it would be cool if we see him head a Raven Guard splinter group (the ones that Corax cast out) and it alludes to their creation. But please please GW he is such a a fantastic character and he deserves to be fleshed out, the first to yell "Death to the false emperor!" to becoming a hero of the downtrodden. There is so much there but unfortunately GW is probably gonna act like he never existed.

I always loved Kharn, the only sane man in an insane legion. Loyal to the point, he was broken beyond repair. To me he was the clearest picture of what Angron was meant to be before the nails and trauma. He is what Angron would have been if The Emporer had saved the slaves and made them marines.

The night lords need a recognised leader so I have hope he’ll survive long enough to become that leader. For chaos is not a unified faction and the night lords swore loyalty to no god. He can and should live on as neither chaos nor imperium. Maybe he can meet up with the raven guard outcasts in the ghoul stars.

Became a Grey Knight, I hypothesise. He did have psychic powers but never really embraced those powers during the Horus heresy. He despised chaos. He made fun of those that embraced chaos and sold their soul for powers from the warp beasts. I find it hard to believe the Dark Angels would have murdered him outright. He questioned Kurze on a few occasions which made Conrad look differently upon Sevatar.

I’ve always wondered if Sevatar IS still out there, how they could bring him back in a way that made a shift in balance for the night lords as a whole. Example: he’s a psyker, and Curze wore the corona nox, with rumours/theories his soul is inside that crown. Wouldn’t it be kinda cool if sevatar (or hell, decimus) found the Nox and Curze came back, at least mentally, through one of his sons? Either through taking over their psyche or being able to communicate with them since they are both psykers? It would be Interesting to see that sort of thing unfold for the night lords. It would make them beyond relevant again. Not saying that they SHOULD do it that way, but I’d like to see something similar to that unfold for them.

I've been really playing a lot of rogue trader lately. But seems to me his overall ideology is closer to.the iconoclast tree. Not dogmatic, not heretical, concerned with the little guy, and overall human life/justice. Quick question - you mentioned at the end of the video that Jago doesn't have a role to play in 40k, so he most likely died during/some time after Horus Heresy. I find myself agreeing with that, but at the same time - as of now (at least to my knowledge) Night Lords don't have any major characters in the lore. Their primarch is dead and their most well-known Marine, Talos, died at the end of his storyline. Now, at least in theory, we have Decimus, who seems to be an inheritor of sorts of Talos's will. Wouldn't it be very interesting to see Decimus and Jago clash as competitors for being the leader of the Night Lords? Plus, their ideologies are curiously aligned while also opposing each other - if Decimus follow in Talos's footsteps, he wants justice and revenge for the NL, while Jago could be the pure idea of justice - equal, impartial.

Thank you for this - I would love to know what actually happened to Sevatar. According to Konrad he was fated to die in battle and that's as much as we know 'for sure' - since the visions were mostly right. It would be nice to know how that came about, and if it did, in the end.

Shange using the pharos devise found Sevator gagged and bound on the Lions ship, laughed at him. Sev was trying to curse him but being gagged he simply was abandoned. Gendor the painted count took control of a small fleet and Horus made him the new legion master because konrad was believed dead or captured. It's funny how the tiny night lords group landed on the imperial palace and sigismund kicked his ass when the demon blade left him. The painted count let the demon to save his life to be tortured for thousands of years in the warp b4 returning to the imperial realm. The painted count disappeared into the warp for 6 times 666 years.

There is established canon and there are retcons and as far as the N.L.s saga goes, hes dead dead. Will he come back? Considering how they want to capitalize on End and the Death followed by the new lore? Probably. Loken will probably come back too in one way shape or form.

If souls are pulled into the warp so chaos can feed on them, that implies that souls do not originate from the warp. Additionally, the "neverborn" are in the warp and the name suggests that they will never be born. So where do you suppose souls originate from?

After a violent 1st meeting Corax spares him, but the thousands of years that feel like an eternity within the Eye has influenced Corax, made his actions and personality, his whole thought process similar to Sevatars Primarch, not necessarily a good thing. They travel together having many adventures and have a positive impact and influence on each other, helping Sevatar discover the humanity hidden deep within him and Corax finding his that he had lost along the way, depending on whoever authors it, could even be a adventure-romance novel, lmao jk.

In the future with Vastor being focus on more at a next big threat and chaos stealing then reppurose what the Imperium already made. Would you think GW will have chaos get some new model's to represnet new wargear , daemon engines or etc they made with the stolen knowledge? As it is a matter of time that chaos got some new models when the their codex come out. If Chaos to get something like a primaris unit for a eillite or a unique unit for CSM only. As using primaris equivent CSM when that plot line is worked on the novel Harrowmaster . As much as i like primaris marines for conversion or kitbashing as a base for CSM character's models. I could see CSM having a new mark of armor made for them sorta a sudo heresy ere armor using MK10 in the style of older marks of armor for what the warpsmith or darkmechanicus is capable to reverse engineer for this new chaos primaris .
