Vsauce An advice here. Your videos are good and entertaining, but you often go off topic. Like in this video we were talking about originality of media to suddenly turn into organic replication. Thats okay. But ending up with me being related to the whole matter in the universe, where am I. Thats awesome but sometimes confusing. And it is the reason I get lost with the flow of your videos. So what would be better. I'll recommend you structure your videos with a proper summary or conclusion at the end. I had the same problems too, but organising ideas makes content better to process. I hope this advice can be applied in future videos. And as always, make awesome videos.

Actually the Mona Lisa is famous for looking directly at you. It is due to a technique called "linear perspective". Modern artists have a command of linear perspective, and they use the interplay of light and shadow to create paintings that look almost as if they're alive. But it's impossible to get past the fact that the medium in which a painter works exists in only two dimensions. Ultimately all depth created through perspective and light and shadow is a trick, an optical illusion, and this illusion gives rise to other illusions -- including eyes in a painting following you. So how does it work? Essentially, what is going on is that the light, shadow and perspective depicted in a painting are fixed, meaning they don't shift.
