Hello, your content is brilliant. It has really enabled us to properly take care of our Italian greyhound puppy, Vladimir, so thank you for sharing. Vladimir, our first dog, has been with just one week and we are already seeing progress. However, we dread the day when we have to return to the office, which is soon, as he will be left alone a few days a week. Would it still be OK, in your estimation, to let a twelve week old puppy occasionally sleep on one's lap? Only during the day of course (Vladimir sleeps alone in a crate at night and has already got used to it). Or would the formation of such habits only exacerbate his imminent separation anxiety? Thanks

I think it is fine for a puppy to sit I. Your lap. To prepare for your going back to work, you also need to separate yourself from your puppy for a period during the day. Have you watched my video Help My Anxious Dog While I Work. This video gives you tips to work on before you go back to work . Hope this helps Vladimir relax while you are working. Will he be alone for many hours? Will he be in a puppy pen or crate while you are working. If you are gone a long time, will you have someone walk him? Just some questions to think about before you go back to work. Thank you . Joyce

But I think it is so important, I will give all the information in a video so people can have the help they need now. You will see the video soon.
